Very Nice RoomPosted Mar 7, 2018
Very nice room - very clean & comfortable. Beautiful view!!! But DO NOT book this hotel if you are handicapped & cannot get a ground floor room! We had the choice of taking stairs from the office (only when it's open) or walking down a hill on the side of the hotel! They had the road blocked & wouldn't even let us drive down & unload the car. NOT HANDICAP FRIENDLY! And we couldn't cancel the room!

Beautiful ocean view and clean, comfortable room!Posted Feb 27, 2018
Pros: Room decor and ocean view!
Cons: Communication: I'd specifically asked for "no room service" at front desk when going to run errands. Returned to find it had been provided-not happy!
Location: Great location w/conveniences nearby!
Great place to stay - this was during off season, so it was wonderfully quiet!

Comfort and beauty.Posted Jan 6, 2018
The view of the bay, and in room binoculars is a gift for bird watchers. The room is spacious, clean and tastefully appointed in authentic mariner style. The owner throws corn out for a flock of Mallards, the sun rises outside my heavy glass door, the room is warm and inviting against the sun-zero temperatures. Few places offer this kind of quiet, secure beauty when you're on the road.

Friendly and FestivePosted Jan 1, 2018
I stayed at the Inn in December and it had awesome Christmas lights and decorations all over the front. A very nice and relaxing view of the bay with beach access. Room was very clean and everyone was friendly. I really enjoyed my time here, I found it relaxing even though I was in the area for work.

Charming room, beautiful viewPosted Dec 11, 2017
Pros: charming room, great view, very clean
Conveniently located to food, shopping and (for my needs) the Sussman House
So so review. If possible stay elsewhere.Posted Dec 9, 2017 on Hotels
Room was emaculate and well kept. The issues are with the fact the only open space inside was designated as office space and none available for renters. The so called office space was ideal for guests to sit have coffee and enjoy the view but I was told to leave the area. It appears that at one time it was public space as there was a tv sofas and chairs along with a table and chairs which appears st one time it might have been used for a better breakfast offering. Also the lack of any breakfast items, the exception of coffee & hot chocolate. The coffee was so bad that they shouldn’t have offered it at all. I saw no one getting the coffee and most going to outside coffee shops. We normally stay next door at Glenn Cove, which is closed for the season, which is equal to or better and less expensive and offers a complete breakfast with fresh made waffles, bagels, fresh fruit, cereal, granola and pastries and good coffee. Will not be coming back.

Pros: location, price and view
Location: great location and the Farnsworth Museum had a great Andrew Wyeth Exhibition for his 100 anniversity. He died in 2009. Good food at two places.
Nice facitity and excellent view of the bay. Comfortable king side bed.

Off season stayPosted Nov 26, 2017
The place has great access to the water (though not really for swimming) and great seasonal decorations. We didn't really see the staff so couldn't comment on that but the place was clean, fun and modestly prices. A good value.
Excellent quality for excellent pricePosted Nov 24, 2017 on Hotels
This was a wonderful hotel. The service was wonderful. The front desk recommended a great hotel, with excellent directions. There were wonderful little details in the room. Even a rubber duck in the tub. It was clean, bright, and very nice. I thought this was particularly good since it was not the busy season. The area was nice, but seeing three towns of hotels, this was definitely the most personal and cute.
