Relaxing Suburban Getaway

Cons: 1) Bathroom needed wall-bars since supposed to be 'Accessible" room. 2) DESK CHAIRS IN ALL HOTEL ROOMS SHOULD BE LARGE EXECUTIVE-STYLE FOR COMPUTERS
Location: Great Location, walking distance to 5 Restaurants, Target-Academy Sports shopping center, and others.
Nice Rest. Time to use as respite for Dr Visit since I was from out-of-town

Blood?

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Complete remodel.
We reserved our stay for a business trip. It was extremely hot in the lobby when checking in. I am a LaQuinta Rewards member. No comment or appreciation when checking in. After commenting how uncomfortable the lobby was, the checkin agent just smiled. We went o the room. It was also hot, No air on at all. Of course we turned it on and down and it eventually cooled the room. We reserved for two people. One coffee cup was in the room. We did ask and received extra coffee. NO CONDIMENTS. I went o the coffee bar, the coffee bar had only large containers of creamer. They were dirty or I would have taken it to the room. We prepaid online for a late checkin. Arriving in the room, I sat my bag near the bed, BLOOD on the spread. Really? Who doesn't see that? I pulled the spread on the floor. I checked for bedbugs, a sign of blood on a spread, I didn't see any not that they might not have been there. I will never stay there again. This hotel is in ill repair. It must have new owners.

After receiving your comments, we brought in a pest control agency to inspect your room and the surrounding area. They found no evidence of activity, nor have we experience activity in the past. We have also used your feedback as a training tool with all the departments on how to prevent these type of situations from happening again. Great staff

Pros: Pet friendly, location, non-smoking throughout the hotel.
Cons: Would like half and half for coffee.
We stayed in this hotel during Harvey, and the staff took such care with hurricane evacuees, even collecting items such as diapers, with a sign to "Take What You Need." I will always stay at this hotel when I am in Rockwall.

Great staff at La Quinta

Pros: Pleasant, helpful staff; easy access to interstate; room layout; convenient to restaurants; and the entire hotel is non-smoking.
Cons: I would personally like stronger coffee and more protein at breakfast, but they are probably supplying what the majority of the guests prefer.
Location: Easily accessible to a lot of restaurants, Starbucks, and Target.
The staff at the Rockwall La Quinta was exceptionally customer oriented, assuring that we had everything we needed and providing detailed information relevant to our next stay.

Avoid

Pros: Absolutely nothing. This place is a dump with the rudest staff I've ever seen. I felt my safety was at jeopardy.
Cons: Gut the place and start over. Fire all the staff.
Worse hotel I ever stayed at. The place is filthy and smells terrible. When I complained, the staff rolled their eyes and laughed at me.

Everything was good however, all the pillows had a fowl smell, literally they smelled like chicken tenders which wasn't pleasant.
