O.k. stay for one night

Pros: Studio suite was nice size for an overnight stay, mini kitchen with two burner cooktop, dishwasher and full size fridge.
Cons: More detail to cleanliness, better quality sheets and softer towels.
We had a queen studio suite. Room was pretty clean except where someone spilled coffee on arm of recliner, we were able to clean it off with a wet cloth. Nice size room with a full size fridge, dishwasher, disposal, two burner cooktop and microwave. The closet was large, bed was comfortable, but we didn't care for the material the sheets were made of. The towels were decent but would have been nice if they were soft.

Pros: The wifi worked well.
Location: almost nothing
The receiving clerk looked like an unkempt washer woman. The hotel is located where there is only one nearby place to eat and it didn't look appetizing. There was no breakfast.

Fair, it was below par. Sparse! Ok to put your head down and sleep but would not want to stay for any length of time

Not very friendly

Pros: The full kitchen is nice for a longer stay
Cons: Customer service.. in line with other "suite" hotels in the area breakfast should be provided
On my initial and might I say most important interaction with the hotel front desk, I was very disapointed. The person that helped us was not very nice initially and obviously my reservation came from expedia with a handicapped accommodation. The front desk clerk was not very warm and did not provide a nice greeting. We arrived earlier than check in time and our room was not ready and that would have been okay if she had explained it in a decent way, but we were made to feel like it was our fault that we didn't know .. Customer service was lacking a whole lot ..I would not stay again

Traveling with pets

Pros: Easy access
Cons: Replace or clean furniture. Clean bathroom floors. Do maintenance on shower curtain rod.
Location: Just passing through.
Perhaps other rooms are kept cleaner, but pet room was somewhat dirty, needed updating, furniture was spotted.

Enjoyable stay

Pros: My queen suite room had everything I needed.
Cons: It was a short stay for me and no complaints
Location: There was a diner right next door, and the hotel is right off the highway
This was my first experience with candle wood suites and I must say, I was pleasantly pleased. I arrived a little before check in time and was able to get into my room before time. Room was clean and comfy. Hotel was at a great location; shopping, restaurants and right off the highway. I will definitely use this hotel again.

spend the weekend with a loved one

Pros: size of the rooms and rooms being clean

Location: Plenty of shopping and eating establishments
I have stayed at Candlewood many times. Always a great experience. Well pleased!

The price is right.

If you are looking for a place to stay overnight this may be the one. It is animal friendly and that may be too much for people like me who do not have animals sleeping in the same room. The price was within our budget but I would spend a little more and stay at another hotel in the area. It was not what I am used to and I would not return.

Our animals are normally placed on the lower level (lst floor) and only during extreme times when the hotel is booked with a lot of animals are we forced to put animals on the higher floors.
