Average hotel but overpriced

Not sure what HH gives you extra, but they had 2 floors dedicated to them. I could have easily signed up for the free membership but the agent didn't care to explain. Nice pool and hot tub. Breakfast situation complicated.

Major Security Issues

I stayed here two weeks ago and contacted management regarding my problem after speaking to the front desk and to date have received no response. I contacted Hilton and was given a caged response- sorry for your issues, we will look into this problem. After checking into the hotel we went to our room and quickly changed to go to our event. While my son finished changing, I went to get the car. During that time my son said a random person entered the room using a hotel issued room key. The person apologized and left the room. They were not hotel staff. After we got to our event we realized we left something in the room and I returned to the hotel. As I walked down the hall I could see a family entering my room. When they saw it was occupied they walked out. When I got to my room I asked if they had just been in my room and they said yes but they noticed our bags and walked out. Since I was running late I did not speak to the desk until I returned late that night. The front desk clerk acted like I was crazy and there was no way this could have happened. She did not apologize or make any offers to appease my situation. I insisted that she provide me a person to go to my room to make sure it was safe, which she did. The gentleman that accompanied us to our room was very nice and very understanding. I wish I would've gotten his name because he was the one friendly person in this situation. I was very lucky that the keys to my room were not given to someone with a criminal inten

Cons: as much as I like steaks I prefer the smell of steaks in the restaurant and not in the hotel's lobby...
Location: I was not concerned about things to do around...
Good location - close to I-95 ... great steakhouse (Texaa Steakhouse)

A Gryphon Reunion!

Stayed here during a Class Reunion trip and found the hotel very comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful during check-in. There is a Texas Restaurant attached to the hotel that has good food and service. The only drawback is if your arrive during meal time, you may have to look for parking around the back of the hotel due to the restaurant group taking upfront parking.

The gym was great! So awesome that there were towels, sanitation wipes for the machinery, and hand sanitizer. The beds were awesome, as they have been at every Double Tree I've stayed at. My friend is ordering those pillows for her house now! The front desk service was also extremely good. The only negatives were that there was hair in the shower from the last customer, and that there was only one waitress serving 6 tables at breakfast, so it took much longer than I believe it should to get served.
