Waiting for my refund as this hotel cancelled on me 2 days before arrival. We were traveling and I missed the email. We paid 20 Euro from airport to get there, then we show up and it's closed. No one around, a quiet area with no taxis and Uber would not pick up our request on this area. Stood in pouring rain for an over an hour trying to get a ride to another hotel. Very dissappinting.

Not sure I would stay again. I loved the area but there was a party going on when we arrived, it felt less cozy/homey. Our sheets looked dirty, and the bathroom sink was leaking everywhere. The staff did change us to another room which was nice. We could not sit in the courtyard in the morning as it smelled of marijuana from the party the night before and the chairs were all wet from the dew. Black grout just grosses me out as well and the bathroom tile is black grout. Just a mindset, I am sure.

Quiet nice room near CDG
Excellent hotel for overnight stay if you have a morning flight from CDG. If you have a rental car, it is a much better option than driving in early or return you car the night before and stay at an airport hotel. The rooms are big, clean, new and quiet.

Great Size and Comfort
We only stayed for one night prior to leaving, but the room was beautiful - as was the entire property - and comfortable. It was quite large for a European hotel room as was the bathroom. I would absolutely recommend staying here. The parking lot was also large enough.

Love this hotel!
We loved our stay at this hotel. Just 10 minutes drive from the airport, but in a countryside setting. It was the perfect location for an overnight stay to catch an early flight the next day. They have a beautiful wine bar & restaurant. Enjoyed a delicious supper there after a long day of traveling. Hope to be back soon! Merci!

What a lovely place to stay. 10 minutes and 10 euros from the airport using Uber Great atmosphere and hard to believe you are so close to airport but no noise- either planes or road. Staff are amazing- warm friendly and professional Dining room also excellent and nice breakfast was included Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again

Charming exterior- standard interior
This is a charming boutique hotel about 10 mins from CDG airport. The area is beautiful but you are in such a small village that there is nothing to eat or do outside of the hotel. The room is quite normal, the mattress not very comfortable. The hotel building is beautifully restored but the room itself is not a luxurious one. There is no AC in the building or the room (summer vacation goers take note). The restaurant at the hotel is 3 stars at most.

What a lovely place to unwind after our holiday and before we flew out of Charles de Gaulle. The old distillery buildings were beautiful restored and the garden area was an oasis — especially when guitarists arrived to perform in the garden during our dinner. The restaurant is small but excellent quality and we took advantage of a delicious dinner on the patio. The bed was very comfortable and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. We will return if we are coming or going through CDG again!

Great Maison d'Hôtes, but disappointing amenities
Most disappointingly, the shuttle was not running on the day we arrived nor the next day when we departed. The cost of the transportation we had to arrange (uber one day and a taxi the next day) added about a 25% premium to our lodging expense. We were also disappointed to learn that the hotel restaurant was not open on the night we stayed. The staff were top notch and did a great job of trying to accommodate the restaurant situation by providing menus of nearby restaurants that deliver. The restaurant did provide breakfast which was very good. I will probably try to stay at this Maison d'Hôtes again because it offers a nice alternative to the big chains at CDG, but only if I can verify the shuttle and the restaurant will be available when I stay.

Le personnelle était impeccable, le restaurant délicieux, et la chambre sympathique. Atmosphère tranquille et calme, à 4-5km de l’aéroport. Je recommande fortement pour une soirée, si vous avez une voiture pour vous déplacer ou si vous avez des meetings tout près.

Lovely hotel
We had a great experience. Staff was friendly and spoke English. The bed was very comfortable. A tasty breakfast continental buffet is included. There is a charge for the airport pickup and drop off but it was extremely convenient.

Over night stay before flight the next morning. Very helpful staff who speak English. 10 minutes to drive to CDG airport. Free self parking. Old farm house with modern upgrades that also highlighted older parts of the house.

Modern hotel in quite village 9 min to CDG
Nice modern clean hotel with off road parking. Our room had a view over the garden courtyard. Beautiful. Very clean basic but modern room with good wifi and Tea and Coffee making. Good bathroom but don't like shower over bath. One issue was no air conditioning,only a fan. The restaurant cooked a very good Steak with potatoe dinner, and it was excellently done and very tasty, but NO vegetables at all in the meal and none in menu to order as a side dish. Good wine and nice dessert. Will come back to stay next trip.

This hotel is new and clean. The staff was friendly. However, it is on the other side of the airport from Paris and it is difficult to get to. Security has the back roads to the airport closed so you have to go all the way around and it adds 25 k to a 5k ride.

Such a friendly staff and so accommodating. The woman at the front desk asked if I would like a shower or a bath; as I had just returned from the Middle East, I was longing for a long soak. I will stay here every time I have a layover in Paris, as it is almost next to the airport.

Hotel is very nice and friendly, but the lack of air conditioning is a significant one when traveling in the summer. Please be aware of this fact and know that if you cannot sleep well in a very warm room without fans or AC, then this hotel is not for you.

Nice hotel close to airport
If you afraid to get stuck in a traffic between Paris and the airport before your flight, this hotel is perfect for staying overnight and getting to your flight on time. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. You'll be supersized that this remote hotel has so much history and a story behind its origin. The rooms are not chic so if you are used to superb ambiance and room interior, it's not there. However, the rooms are big and clean, great bathroom. Hotel lobby and lounging spaces are super comfortable and amazing for spending time working and writing. It's quiet as there are not that many guests lingering around. Their kitchen and restaurant is quiet good. I think they have a personal chef there that does all the cooking. Free morning breakfast is a plus. It's a lovely place to stay before your flight and while you're on business.

Weird hotel way out in the sticks.
We had booked it as a hotel close to the airport, but it was almost impossible to find it. Restaurant was closed, and they tried to make us order pizza delivered to the hotel. Had our French been better, we might have had an easier time of it. We could hear the airplanes take off very clearly.

I loved this place, amazing service super friendly staff from the receptionist that walked me to room, to bartender who opened a bottle of wine for my room, to the ladies at check out EVERYONE was super nice. The hotel is about 10 minutes from airport and RER terminal. Perfect place to be before or after a flight. Also note that this is a sold three star but five star for service. Not sure why they don't have a star on Expedia

Awesome hotel and restaurant.
This hotel is fantastic including the front desk receptionist who was extremely friendly and helpful. She even offered to have croissants baked for us and left at front desk in the morning since we had to take an early morning taxi to the airport and would not be able to stay for breakfast. Who does that?? She also set up our taxi in advance for us. The restaurant is also awesome...great meal, wine and service in a converted farmhouse. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone...particularly if you need a CDG airport hotel...10 mins to airport.

Wish we had booked more than one night
Stayed one night to be close to CDG airport after a few days in Paris. Hotel is in old farm buildings tastefully remodeled to preserve character but provide modern amenities. Not much nearby but very small farming village and not convenient for going in and out of the city, but a fantastically peaceful and beautiful place to relax and unwind. Food was in small hotel restaurant with limited menu but chef was fantastic and accommodated one gluten free diet and one vegetarian with no problem. All staff was great! Wish we had booked more than one night. Try to get a room in the guest house if you can.

Perfect stay, absolutely great customer service. I forgot one of my shirt in the room and the hotel has send it back home without any problems. This is an excellent customer service rare to find these days. the place is very clean, close to the airport but quiet, nice rooms, good breakfast. Perfect choice

Unique hotel close to Charles de Gaulle Airport
Les Herbes Folles is a great little hotel near CDG airport but at the same time in a rural location. The combination of old farm buildings, plus sympathetically designed new buildings is delightful. Whilst you can still hear aircraft, the farm and garden setting is really relaxing and so different.

Overall positive experience
Staff was fantastic and friendly and room very comfortable. Loved our breakfast and dinner. We can't say anything about surroundings as we just stayed night before our flight home. Only negative was there were a lot of spider webs in ceiling and number of spiders. Could have been the time of year. Otherwise clean and great staff!!

Lovely place close to CDG
In a simple village, this lovely hotel serves excellent dinners from a simple menu (3 choices) and adequate self-serve breakfasts. They will arrange a shuttle (E 15) to the airport. There isn't anything to do in the village - no coffee bar or cafe - but we had a nice walk around the quiet streets.
