Wanted nonsmoking got a smoking room

The bathroom door would not stay closed. The room had a very strong cigarette odor. I wanted none smoking room but we got a smoking room. Could not change even though there were a lot of empty rooms

Nice hotel.

Pros: Clean hotel, nice breakfast in AM.
Cons: Somehow get outlets on both sides of both beds.
Location: Near the highway, and at the end of the "Food row." Close to MO S&T.
Nice clean hotel. Not too noisy even with St Pat's

Peep holes in ceiling over bed in room 123!!!

I rented 2 rooms for my family to spend weekend with our daughter that Graduating from S&T college. We only ended up needing one room but with no 24hr cancellation the lady at front desk told us that we had to stay in one room,while our 2 dogs had to stay in the other. She told me and my husband that we had to stay in smoking room #123 and dogs had to stay in room 128. Neither room looked like pictures,nor was clean, we had something that looked like dried blood on one of our comforters. Room 123 had at least 7 peep holes over the bed,which we put toilet paper in,Cuz lady wouldn't give our money back

Nice stay

Pros: Convenience to I-44 Nice staff
Cons: Shower head needs to be higher up. I am average at 6'1", but had to crouch over to get my head wet.
Location: Convenient to interstate and restaurants
This place was convenient and comfy. Nothing spectacular, but it was just nice.

came for a college visit

Pros: clean and inexpensive
Location: was in Rolla for a college visit
Woman at front desk was very nice and helpful..I felt sorry for her the next morning she showed up to work and the office door was locked, she had to find a way in which also meant the breakfast was not set up/out for guests and she had to rush and get that set up. She kept apologizing and it wasn't her fault, whoever worked night shift didn't do any of it and had door locked so no one could get in. Room 206 the water ran constantly in the tub

good value for the money

The room was set up nice, totally clean and inviting. The beds are firm for a good night's sleep if you like firm mattresses. Breakfast offered more than I expected.

What I expected

Pros: It was fine.
Cons: More outlets on both sides of both beds.
As usual with Expedia room is on the second floor. Pillows are a little too soft. But room is clean.
