Well maintained. no problems in the room. Quiet location, close to the interstate. Not expensive.

In town for a wedding

Had a wedding to go to in St James MO. Got on Expedia.com to find the best deal. Econolodge in rolla was at a lower price point than other “comparable” hotels and the pictures online looked great. Upon checkin and a shower, I realized really quick that, the bathroom/shower was filthy. The actual tub was ok. But every nook and cranny (especially the ridge at the top of the shower) was disgusting. Everything from soap scum, to body hair, and just plain filth.., were in all the places that a “quick run through” a room would miss. I was not impressed. I highly doubt I’ll be reserving a room from econolodge when I go to a festival in Springfield next month

I have spoken to the Housekeeping Supervior to make sure this type of situation does not happen again. Your words will have the housekeepers striving for excellence for all future Guests. Accidentally reserved a smoking room

As always staff was great. I accidentally had reserved a smoking room, unfortunately with it being St Pat's weekend there was no other room to trade with - but staff looked even though all the rooms were reserved.

Terrible hotel

The staff was rude from check-in to checkout. The room had a bad smell and the "breakfast" consisted of 3 stale mini donuts and 3 stale mini bagels. The office personel watched over you to see if you tried to take more than a couple items, even though there really wasn't anything to take. Not impressed at all. Horrible place to stay.

I am sorry you were not impressed with our Fresh Pancake machine, donuts, bagels, blueberry muffins, oatmeal, two different dry cereals, fresh banana and apples, coffee, tea, milk, toast, etc. We also offer the option of dining at Denny's or Waffle House next door. You receive a 10% discount when you show them your room key. I am sure they were only in the breakfast room to ensure the items were stocked. One night stay - great

It was great for a one-night stay while travelling home from a funeral. Room was clean, no surprises. The staff I interacted with was great.

Upon check in Sandy very helpful as I needed a handicap room and had not stated that at the time of reserving the room. She made sure we were taken care of.
