Very difficult to lug suitcases up the long flight of stairs to check into the hotel. Elevator very small. Room had bathroom, desk and sofa on first floor of room. Bed and armoire we up a skinny dangerous flight of stairs. Going to the restroom in the middle of the night was not safe. Room has a tall window you could open but there were no screens. Air conditioning unit was noisy. Dining room was very expensive (glass of wine $30 euros). Front desk staff very helpful getting transport to cruise terminal. Hard to obtain an U er from this location on embarkation day because the fares go up dramatically and they take other higher fares.

Beautiful lobby, but room I had could use new mattresses & carpet stained by cleaning supplies (i think). Good breakfast for 2 mornings @ 29 Euros, shuttle to port for 19 Euros. Beautiful boardwalk directly across from hotel.

Beautiful older hotel
Beautiful older hotel. Staff was very pleasant & efficient. Room was a nice size. There was a leak in our room, however, which made the carpet wet & soggy near the bathroom.

It has a beautiful lobby. Very helpful front desk, We got in from Rome at 10:00 at night restaurants closed/closing , he called a local one minute walk restaurant and begged them to cook us a plate of pasta! Mezzo litro di vino and a plate of Bolognese fettuccine was the perfect ending to the day!!! This hotel is walking distance to train, and center! Yes yes yes reserve your shuttle to crew ship early or take the taxi for $20-$30 euro

The hotel was overbooked on our arrival and we didn’t have a room. They had to move us to another property away from the city center. The property was very nice but on the second day we were told they would need to move us to another property. Family of four with 19 bags we didn’t want to have to move again. We asked if we could just cancel the rest of the stay instead of keep moving every two days and they said of course. We would have stayed, even if it was away from everything because we didn’t want to keep moving an waiting in a lobby for check-in time. We were asked to check out early and we hurried to make that happen. Then we found out they charged us full price. After working with hotels.com we got refunded only 3 of the last 5 days and only on one of the rooms. I have tried for the week I was in town to fix this and get a receipt but the hotel and hotels.com just kept giving me the run around. 2 weeks a five visits, hotels.com multiple contacts I never got a receipt. We even came to terms with being charged for the days we weee told we would have been refunded but I cannot get reimbursement for work with the receipts. Stay elsewhere and do not do not book through hotels.com they will just delay you, wait for 3 days with no ability for action, then have explain everything again and again. Life lesson learned and it was an expensive one. They ruined our week and spent too much time trying to resolve it with zero resolution.

The hotel is in need of renovation. The carpet was very worn. Furnishings in the room we're old and basic. Other than it's proximity to the cruise port, I wouldn't choose to stay again.

The MOST convenient hotel closest to the cruise port. However the rooms need some serious updating. I think the carpet was 15-20 years old.

The room was fine. At midnight the hotel had issues with key pads. Front desk came into our room without annoucing themselves and took our key card out of holder by door. A few minutes later they came back and gave us a key with no explanation. About 20 minutes after it happened I went to front desk and asked for an explanation. They appeared to not understand why I was asking questions and that the simple answer was that we now had a key and were safe. I still didnt feel safe. Husband and I put a chair in front of door in the case someone also tried to enter. Not the best sleep before going on a cruise.

This hotel is right on the Main Street with a lot of dining options, shopping, banks, and public transportation. You can cross the street and a short distance to be at the ocean.

The room was huge, the bed comfortable and the bathroom clean. The only problem we had was the power went out during the night, no lights to have on to descend the stairs to the washroom. But reception came right away to fix it and all was well.
