“This was our second stay at the Lucky Trout Resort. We just love the little cabins on the river. They are so cute, cozy, and very relaxing. The view of the river is great and it’s back in a woodsy area. It feels away from everything but it is still close to town, the lake, or anywhere else you want to go. The pool is clean and nice for swimming. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.”

“After checking in I parked and noticed cigarette butts in front of the doorway, maybe 7-10. I got in the room and pulled the comforter back to sit on the bed and immediately noticed that the sheets had not been changed. I pulled the top sheet back and there was a drop of bright red blood on the bottom sheet. I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and there was no hand soap and there was an unknown spot on the hand towel. I went to the check in window which said “no refunds” and a woman came to……

“Bring your own pillows. There were no bed pillows! Only 3 small 14 inch decorative throw pillows on king size bed. Pool is out of order going on 3 years according to staff. Bed was very firm and uncomfortable if you have arthritis in hips. Overall, it was okay as far as cleanliness and being spacious.”
