Great staff, they surprised me by putting a small refrigerator in my room without being asked! I only wish the pool was larger... ;-( Oh well!!! Overall very pleased.

Extremely friendly staff, especially Cecilia at the front desk. The location is great, close to multiple amenities.

Not quite what the pictures showed but I loved the quaintness & Mexican feel. Staff was friendly & helpful. As a single female traveller felt comfortable & safe. I'd luv to come back & stay again.

Overpriced poor choice hotel in Puerto Vallarts

Posted Apr 18, 2017 on Hotels
Terrible hotel, no air cond, but the fan runs on slow, useless. Toilet, please don't expect to sit on it frontally, try side sitting, your legs don't fit. if you want the TV rent the remote for $150 pesos more. The 1001.00 pesos I paid was a rip off. this is a $500 peso at most hotel. Small double bed, hard and not comfortable. noisy during the day, all day, busess trucks honking cars. at night ok. the pool in the picture, looked good but was full with people. BUT a short 5 block walk to malecon, and restaurants would not stay there again, even if they lower the price.

Found a giant cockroache the morning I was leaving

First of all, very busy and noisy area, especially the traffic which is constant and loud. Second of all, loud barking dog beside the hotel; with non stop barking. I would probably not recommend this property.

It's fine.

Pros: Modern television in my room, daily room service, and I regularly saw housekeeping mopping rooms. The location was cool, near Los Muertos Brewery.
Cons: There was a ton of black mold around the shower and the shower window vent.
Location: The location is pretty good. It's near a lot of tourist stuff in addition to EXXO, Farmacia, and Los Muertos Brewing. Short walk to the beach.
The hotel was essentially free with the flight bundle. That was the biggest positive. I traveled by myself and this was my first time in Mexico. This hotel is very barebones. I was given an AC remote, but it didn't work. 100 Pesos deposit for the TV remote. Staff was not super friendly but wasn't rude and took care of whatever I needed. It's INCREDIBLY loud in the street facing rooms. The beds blow. The shower had black mold all over the place. Other than that last bit, the housekeeping staff clearly put a lot of effort into making the place as clean as they can. If you're looking for an oasis, keep going. If you value a bargain and decent location, not a bad choice. It was perfectly safe and functional, but definitely not a luxury by any stretch of the imagination. I would not stay in this hotel if it were in the U.S., but it gets a pass considering the standards for non-resorts in this area. The cabbies were not familiar with this hotel so you'll want to tell them to go to Insurgentes and ask if they know where Los Muertos Brewing is. That's where I would always get them to go. Great beer and great pizza there, btw. 70 pesos for a slice of pizza, side, and a beer!
