The hotel has an antique vibe, but in a positive way. Staff is friendly and we had a great time. The only downside was our shower that kept variating water temperature throughout the whole shower. We asked to fix it 3x but without much success. I would stay in the hotel again anyway since it has an excellent cost-benefit.

Great Stay
My stay overall in the Albani was great! Room spacious, clean all be it a bit run down but for all the time spent in it it didn’t matter much. The breakfasts were great, with an adequate selection to choose from. The only issue I had was the flashing smoke detector was directly above the bed. I feel this could be over by the door, as to not disturb any light sleepers. We were on the 7th floor. I wouldn’t let this put me off staying in the Albani again, it’s a quiet safe neighbourhood away from the hustle and bustle of Rome. You are a 20 minute walk from the terminal!

My 4 night stay was excellent. Service was anove average. Housekeeping simply super, everyday, the bathroom was cleaned and towels replaced, trashcans emptied, and the bed was always prepped. Breakfast had many options.

Staff is friendly and the lobby and breakfast is good. However, the rooms are strangely shaped. My room was on the fifth floor and the way to the room was very narrow and had a step in between where I had to lift all my bags. This place is far from all the tourist spots so it takes around 35 mins minimum if you decide to walk to any tourist place. Given the traffic in Rome, you most likely would walk everywhere so chose accordingly.

Had a good stay at Albani hotel. My wife and I were only on the hotel during the evening as we were always out exploring Rome. The only thing that’s missing is the facility to make tea/coffee in the room. Other than that the room is quiet and comfortable with a fully functioning aircon which we needed as it gets quite warm in Rome in October.

Very small, no peep hole in the door for security, staff was extremely unhelpful. This property would rate as a 2 star at best..Zero amenities in the room… hot water was spotty at best… overall I would rate the property unsatisfactory.

We had a balcony that overlooked the gardens. It was very private and we felt very safe. Although we did not have alot of contact with the staff they were all helpful. The area was great and easy to get to and from attractions easily.

Good hotel as within our budget. Do not use TAXI service proposed by hotel as it is not reliable. We almost missed flight as they did not pick us up on agreed time. We had to book Uber what was quicker and much cheaper.

A confortable bed in a clean room. The only negative things was the shower drain was clug. But overall I'm really happy with my stay. The neighbourhood is calm, the bus stop are near and the room had a balcony! And the AC was really good!

Great hotel for families who want to optimize their trip to Rome! It is located right in the heart of Rome close to all of the tourist hot spots. The rooms are clean, staff is friendly and there are plenty of dining & shopping options within walking distance.

This property was the biggest let down. The hotel room was so smelly, it smelled like armpit. The bathtub was dark instead of white. the showerhead was so dirty and old. the room number was 216. DONT get this room. I had to complain to the front desk to change my room. They changed it but i still felt dirty in it. Another issue, the property says it has parking available. That is incorrect, i had to look for parking because the parking location they recommended was closed. I had to look for another parking spot and since i dont know italian, i was charged $70 euros for an entire month of parking for just a one night stay. The worst hotel so far on my trip to europe. Dont recommend, stay away.

Family of 4 on holiday. They had a room with a king size bed and brought 1full size 1 haul away bed into the living room area = plenty of space to sleep. Very spacious and clean, but bit old. Be aware of the 6E per person, per night city tax that everyone must pay when checking-out.

First of all, the entire front desk staff, except for one person where unfriendly and rude. This was not only our experience, but was echoed by a guest that was complaining about the way their family was treated the moment we checked in. The staff would not even make eye contact or smile when guests walked by the front desk. Also, when asking any questions it seemed that you were bothering the front desk staff. The accomadations are also not what you would expect from a hotel with their rating. When we first checked in they gave us a room that had such a bad smell that we asked to switch rooms. The second room they provided had a queen sized bed and two twin sized beds for our kids, which all were some type of roll out beds that were hard and uncomfortable. In addition, there was a lot of dust on the furniture, especially around the TV area. Overall, I would not recommend booking this hotel and I hope that over time enough bad experiences will bring down their rating, so people don't get trapped at this place.

The hotel was nice, food was good, the beds for the kids were not comfortable, the hotel does not have iron for the customers. The service we received during breakfast was excellent. Jeannie Basilio, Manager of the hotel treated my family like her own family.

We were enjoying what we thought was a standard hotel breakfast at this property, when someone came up to inform us that it was not included with our room and wound up charging us an extra €30 to enjoy some mediocre pastries, toast and juice. This should be stated more clearly and not something they use as a "gotcha" tactic. We also had to change rooms because they had given us the wrong type of bed compared to our reservation.

Hotel is ok. I am not sure if it’s a 4 star hotel. Didn’t look like. Staff is ok. Some of the staff didn’t seem pleasing. I was little hesitant in asking questions as some of them seemed a bit irritated in responding to questions. This was our first time in Europe and the staff seemed a bit impatient. We came to Rome from Paris and then went to Florence (both being 4 star) and had amazing experience there.
