Friendly staff. Nice quiet room in back. Expensive breakfast not included so we passed and got coffee and pastries across the street. Easy walk to Metro and restaurants. Safe area.

Excellent location

Posted Jul 30, 2015
We stayed at Aleph for 10days in July 2015 and were very pleased with hospitality and service of this boutique hotel. Location of the hotel is excellent- close to Spanish steps, Borghese gardens and Trevi fountain with its great restaurants. Metro station is about 100m away. Rooms have lovely modern design ( we stayed at renovated suit with two balconies and hardwood floor) Breakfast buffet was small, but, surprisingly, we could find all we needed: selection of cold cuts, 2-3 sorts of cheese, variety of amazing pastry and fresh fruit. But the special word deserves the hotel staff – front desk staff speaks English quite well, attentive and made ever effort to accommodate our needs. Special thanks to Chiara and Francesca, the hotel manager. But I especially would like to acknowledge Svetlana whose restaurant service was the highlight of our stay and made the whole experience very positive. Highly recommend

Good Location

Posted Jul 26, 2015
Pros: Good location for sightseeing and restaurants.
Cons: The rooms and especially the bathrooms. Electrical issues?
Location: All the main sights and museums are reasonably close by.
Hotel is OK with a good location close to a Metro and near the mainline Termini railway station. Plenty of good / excellent restaurants nearby. 8-10 minute walk to Spanish Steps and 10-15 walk to the Pantheon. Rooms OK, but shower / bath poor. Power outages caused door key to fail a number of times and once the fused tripped in the room (electrical issues?).

Incredible stay and warm staff

Posted Jul 25, 2015
Pros: The incredible staff, location, food, rooms - whole experience
Cons: Nothing
Location: Location was perfect, very safe, quietly active. A very professional area - banks, shops, restaurants, embassies (US Embassy very close by), loved it
This was our first visit to Italy and we wanted to plant roots at just one special hotel that would offer a wonderful and delightful experience, we were not disappointed. By the end of our stay, the Aleph Hotel felt like home to us. We even left for a couple of days to the Isle of Capri and couldn't wait to return to the Aleph. The staff - from the front desk, bartenders (especially Luca), doormen, to the hostesses - were all exceptional, truly. There was slight construction work being done as we read about in the earlier evaluations, but we didn't notice, even during our restful afternoon naps. The rooms were cool and peaceful. The daily breakfast brunch was something we looked forward to always, very yummy. The area surrounding the Aleph Hotel was perfect, very close to everything we wanted. We would definitely go back in a second.

Ideal location

Posted Jul 23, 2015
We stayed for 2 nights and thanks to the location of the hotel, managed to see more than we anticipated - hop off hop on bus stop 2 mins away, metro 2 mins away, termini station 10 mins walk, Spanish steps, pantheon, trevi fountain are all within short walking distance. The rooms are comfy for short breaks, shower was great and plenty of storage space. Very quite and comfy bed. Negatives - no tea making facilities (personal preference perhaps) and no iron but they do have laundry services instead (we just wanted to iron shorts but an oversight on our part). The spa is slightly overpriced. Overall, great stay, friendly staff who pay attention to the guests.

Fabulous location

Posted Jul 22, 2015
Pros: Modern, luxurious and very comfortable at a fair price.
Cons: Shame the rooftop terrace was closed for refurb.
Location: Next to underground and walking distance of Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. Many lovely restaurants nearby and Hard Rock Cafe just round the corner.
The Aleph is ideally placed for sightseeing, excellent restaurants, underground.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff, 1 block f/ Metro

Location: Walking distance from every popular site
This is a really nice hotel for the price. Breakfast buffet is included. All amenities and facilities are in excellent conditions and the location is great. It is literally 1 block away from the Barberini Metro station.
