We enjoyed our stay here, there is a grocery store as well as a few eating spots within walking distance. The property was well maintained, and the staff was very welcoming. Parking was readily available. My biggest gripe were the beds, unfortunately they were very hard which made sleeping a bit difficult. Breakfast was limited but tasted great.

Good option before flight back.
We used it for 1 night stay before our flight back. The 1 bedroom apartement was very convenient for a family of 4 having good size and full kitchen. There is a big supermarket 1 minute drive and some restaurants nearby. Parking is free and easy. The front desk girl was very helpfull and attentive. It took us 40 minutes to the airport in the morning. Overall we found it as a very good option for short stay before flying from Rome Fiumicino Airport.

Very near perfection
The place looks very nice. The apartment was spacious, especially the living room and the balcony. The working desk is in the bedroom. Only after entering the apartment, it was that I noticed that the usage of the kitchenette costs 30 EUR per week, something I haven't noticed or experienced before. And since I was there for just one night, it made no sense to arrange all the utensils, etc., as it is completely empty as it is. The bed was comfortable, but the mosquitos were very annoying.

Spent a week here as our home base for excursions into Rome and as far north as Florence and as far south as Pompeii. Pomezia isn't a glitzy and glamorous town, but my preference is to set up just outside of major metro areas (like Rome), as this gives a little breathing room. If that's your goal, too, Altea Suites is pitch perfect. Nice and comfortable rooms, great staff (especially Marco!) and we felt safe and secure the entire time.

Spacious apartment with kind staff
We loved our stay at Altea. There is also 24 hour supermarket nearby and the staff stayed late until 2 AM for our check in! The breakfast was nice and overall we have a great stay! Thank you.

Lovely hotel. Populated by business guests and families looking for a good alternative to staying in the city. Reception staff excellent. Housekeeping great, as were breakfast hostesses. Immediate surroundings a little noisy, but that's the trade off you make for escaping Rome (and having free, spacious, parking!). Property is set back about 70 m from the main road.

Great Family Stay at Altea Suites
Marco and Eleanor (hope I spelt this correctly) were exceptional in their reception. They made us really welcome and assisted with a smile throughout our stay. Marco came out within minutes late in the night when we rang the emergency numbers given that we had locked our access card in our room. Overall stay was excellent.

A nice suit hotel
It is small but nice suits close to Rome. After 15 min. car ride you can park your car near EUR train stations. Then it is very easy to go downtown Rome, Vatican city etc.

Nice spacious hotel
This hotel has lots of space for a family and is new. There is a good breakfast. It is about a 20 minute drive to the train station and 20 minute ride on the train to Roma Termini. Beds are very hard!!

Very Welcoming
I was here for work and I must say I felt like home. The apartement was just great. Very clean tidy and well kept by the lady who used to clean it for me everyday. Had everything at hand here like supermarket, pizzeria, restaurant, bank, pharmacy,private parking, etc. Its only a 20 minute drive from Rome. I really recommend this Residence.

We found the accommodations perfect for us. One half hour to Rome, 15 minutes to the sea, great restaurant nearby, everything we needed. Our apartment was grand, the comfort so good. Cannot say enough about this place. We had a rental car, so this was the perfect base of travel.

Perfect family stay over for Zoomarine
This hotel was absolutely fantastic for our family. Our suite had two bedrooms, a fold out couch in the living area, 2 bathrooms, and a kitchen - much bigger than we were expecting. The cleanliness was great. The house staff even cleaned up our toiletries and put our toothbrushes in a cup. And our kids - and us - loved the breakfast. I am gluten free and there were plenty of options for me. The only complaint would be that the beds were much firmer than we prefer. But we were very impressed by everything else, including the price.

Booked through Hotel.com. They changed the price on upon arrival. We reached at 2:00 AM. The front office guy refused to give us a room unless we paid 148 Euros more than the agreed price. Filing a complaint with Hotels.com

High class hotel (as long as you have a car)
Excellent hotel for our recent trip to Rome. Hotel was immaculately clean and the breakfast buffet plentiful. There isn't a massive amount in the surrounding Pomezia area but if it you are looking for a clean and comfortable base from which to visit Rome then Altea Suites are ideal. The rooms are a very good size, the kitchenette fully equipped and the Sky TV was able to display in both Italian and English language. Public transport in the immediate area is patchy so it is almost essential you have a car available. As long as you understand the logistics and geography of the area then Altea Suites is highly recommended for your stay.

Big rooms with kitchen but bad location
I was looking for a good rated value hotel. This hotel is good value due to room size and kitchen in the rooms but the big minus due to its location - far from airports and also far from the centre. I would rather spend some more money and get a better location. It is also in a industrial area so I guess the hotell is mostly used for business.

This place far exceeded my expectations! Very family friendly, VERY clean, VERY helpful staff. The staff went above and beyond to help my family out. I wouldn't even call it a hotel, more like a town house! Very comfortable. I felt like we were at home! Delicious breakfast. Sky tv ( yay for English speaking shows!) The only downside-- the location. Although its very close to Rome, the neighborhood is very sketchy. I felt like we were in the ghetto! Very nervous driving up, but had a sigh of relief once we pulled in!! I would most definitely return!

A blissful stay!
We wanted a hotel outside Rome to give us easy access to the GRA and the AI Autostrada to Tuscany. This Hotel suited us perfectly. It was very clean, the service was excellent and the breakfast very adequate. Check in went very smoothly. A special thank you to Marko the receptionist on duty , who spoke great English and always had a smile to welcome us.

A great hotel outside of Rome
We were looking for a hotel outside of Rome. We had a car to drive to the train station to get into Rome. For this purpose, this hotel was great. An apartment style room that accommodated four very well, a huge patio, which we didn't use and a great breakfast. We really appreciated the printer access in the lobby. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Should we ever travel to Rome again, we would consider this hotel again.

Really good apartment hotel with bad location
The apartment was lovely, warm, modern and really spacious. The staff was really helpful. The only problem is the location. It is situated a bit too far from everything and travelling to the centre of Rome is really not easy. It is recommended that you hire a car before coming here. We stayed here during a snow fall and found no open restaurants within 1h walking distance for three days. The McDonalds was open, but we did not come to Italy for junk food. Luckily there is a large supermarket very close to the hotel.

Great location and lovely service
The hotel may not be the best in comfort since the room and bathroom are small and shows some age, but the location is EXCELLENT (walking distance to most main tourist sights), the service is superb (easily beating 4-star hotel), and we've still slept well and had a nice and comfortable stay. There is free wi-fi in the lobby but the signal is weak in the room (unless you are in room #8, the closest room to the lobby).

Just returned from a fabulous weekend stay with another couple both of which really enjoyed the apartment accomodating the 4 of us very adquately, great breakfast, great great friendly staff helpful in every way, they even went out an purchased an power converter to connect from 210 to our Canadian 110 appliances, hair dryer, computer etc. which was very helpful, had a lot of laughs with the front desk staff and loads of information if needed, the only negative I have is the hotel's location to Rome which if your planning to visit Rome it would best be done with a rental car at least to get you to the rail connects etc. it was a great choice for us as we were connecting to a cruise out of Rome and we had been to Rome before but not in accomodations like this.. Highly recommended.
