Pros: Hotel staff, room, and scenery. Very modern.
Location: The hotel provides a shuttle to the Vatican that was excellent.
Atahotel Villa Pamphili is a nice, modern hotel away from the noise of the city. We had a balcony that overlooked the swimming pool and beautiful green hills. Very clean rooms with comfortable beds. The hotel staff was excellent and very helpful. I will stay there again when in Rome.

Hotel with a shuttle

Pros: serene
Cons: the carpets and wall papers are getting tired
Location: away from everything
Far from the centre of Rome (not a walking distance) but will provide a shuttle (w/ a charge) on an hourly interval. You can enjoy their outdoor pool if you decide to stay in the hotel as there is nowhere to go within walking distance. We have enjoyed our over all stay as we have experience the comfort and serenity, an escape from the busy centre of Rome.

Pleasent hotel with informative staff.

Pros: Reception staff were extremely helpful and informative. Pool and breakfast area pleasent surroundings. Shuttle bus invaluable.
Cons: Carpets on the stairs need cleaning. More information about hotel imenities would have been helpful.
Location: Close to open Parks. Nice quiet location. Shuttle bus was great asset with drop off point close to Metro and Vatican making all Rome accessible.
Hotel Pamphili is generally a pleasant place to stay. Gym, tennis courts, swimming pool and spa make this far more interesting than the bog standard city hotel. Sitting on the fringes of the city is no obstacle due to a shuttle bus operating between 06:00 and 22:00 outbound on the hr, a 20 minute ride, dropping off outside the Vatican just two blocks from the nearest Metro. Picks up at 20 past the hr same place. This makes the whole of Rome easily accessible. The reception staff I found really helpful. Directed me to Trastevere, best area to eat in Rome. Forget the tourist areas, this is where the locals eat & drink. 1/2 ltr Caraffe of wine average 4 euro. Pasta dish 5 Euro and the quality is far better. If you want class - it is also here. This area is a Labrynth of narrow streets leading into Piazzas and is a hive of Roman nightlife, Bars and Ristorantes, a hidden gem. The room was clean with a balcony and like many business hotels had basic furniture, but you don't go to Rome to sit in your Room. I read mixed reviews about this hotel, and if I wanted to be picky I could claim the stair carpets needed a clean, and I could complain about the electric fusing but eh, this can happen at home. The hotel is also pleasantly situated next to two of Romes best Parks. This is my third stay in Rome in different hotels and the hotel staff made it my best to date.

Great hotel, housekeeping could do better

Pros: Really liked the pool and the hotel bar as the staff in both were incredibly hard working and excellent.
Cons: Housekeeping. There were just a few things with housekeeping that didn't match the rest of the hotel.
All in all this was agreat hotel with some fantastic amenities. The pool, the bar and the reception all stood out as excellent, with the staff in all three very good. The restaurant was okay, but didn't have a great offering for children (although the bar did). However, the housekeeping did let things down slightly. On our arrival the room hadn't been made up, and the cleaning of the room was a bit hit and miss during the week. On three separate ocassions during the week housekeeping staff barged into the room without a knock - albeit they were very apolgetic each time. The room itself was a bit tired and in need of a refresh, but the public areas of the hotel were lovely, and there wasn't anything wrong with the room as such. Overall this was a lovely stay in a nice hotel, with just a couple of minor quibbles. We would certainly stay again.

This hotel has a slightly tired and dated appearance. But this is superficial, the hotel is very clean. The rooms are a good size, the bed was very comfortable. Coffee making facilities would have been nice. For the money this was a good hotel. Highly recommend it.

Nice hotel, bit tired, good pool .................

Pros: Pool, air con - we visited in July 44c in shade.
Cons: Decor carpets, cheaper restaurant, as no competition, nothing locally unless you are driving.
Location: City of Rome, fantastic
Lovely comfortable clean rooms, good breakfast, good selection of all you could hope for including a hot choice. Hotel is tired, needs re-fit, new carpets etc, but then it probably would have been out of our price range. Excellent service with bus going to and from Rome, 1.50 euro each way per person, can add up. Pool opens at 9.30 am and close 19.30 pm so if, like us you are thinking of a nice cool down once returning from a days sight seeing you are going to be disappointed. Nothing nearby, at all and restaurant on the pricey side, 20 euro cheapest main meal.

Spent 7 nights which I slept soundly every night in a relatively comfortable bed. Pool was excellent which my 9 yr old loved, plenty of room around pool which wasn't too busy. The food prices and drinks were a bit pricey which was in line with the rest of Rome. Could of done with some background music at the bar. Breakfast was good also catered for everyone. All in all a good week.
