I truly cannot say enough nice things about B&B Suites, and specifically, Marco, the owner. The customer service he provided was perhaps the best I've ever received. Though we did not arrive until late at night, he met us at the front of the building, gave us a tour and told us about great restaurants in the area. The rooms are gorgeous, with hand-painted murals, comfortable beds, mini bars wifi and great bathrooms. Each morning, Marco makes breakfast for his guests with many options and great coffee. He goes above and beyond to make sure the guests are happy and comfortable. The location was also wonderful--in the middle of Trastevere, a quiet and beautiful reprieve from the hustle and bustle of Rome. But, using the tram (or we walked), it's very easy to get to the ruins and sights of Rome from the b&b. It's also a block away from the train to the airport. I would recommend this hotel to all of my friends and family, and will definitely be staying here when I go back to Rome next.

Marco and his staff were great. The room was large and comfortable. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious. The area was very nice, convenient to the city center and major points of interest, but not overly crowded. Convenient for local transportation by train and streetcar to the city center and airport. We were very pleased, and would definitely stay there again and recommend this place to others.

Our stay at the B&B

Posted Aug 4, 2016 on Orbitz
Pros: I liked the cleanliness of the room. I felt very comfortable walking around barefoot and the walls were painted with a pretty secenery.
Cons: Keeping the air on in the room, putting more shelf space in the bathroom and bedroom. I had to apply my make up sitting on a bed.
Location: Visit Rome and all of its beautiful sites.
The rooms were clean. However, it was very, very small for three adults. Also Americans are used to air conditioning. Every time we left the room, the maid would shut it off and after a long day of hot tourist attractions, we longed for cool air only to find that it was just as hot in the room. The common area was also not air conditioned and the showers were so small that my husband and son almost could not fit. The surrounding area was questionable. It did not have the ambience of a hotel closer to Rome. But the staff was helpful and very nice.

Thank you for your review, we will keep in our mind to put more shelf space in the bedroom. About the rest, we are sorry but we really don't know what to reply cause we honestly don't agree with almost nothing :) By the way, we will try to make our best, and more, to increase our services: we only think that 2/5 is really a poor vote for what we offer. Thank you so much,

Awesome stay!

My wife and I had a fabulous stay at the Suites Trastavere. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive (thanks to both Marco and Helena), the room was very nice and unique (we stayed in the Pantheon Suite), and the continental-style breakfast was very tasty (I loved those little dessert cakes that were akin to Italian twinkies :-)) Marco was very communicative during the reservation and pre-check in process. As soon as we arrived, Helena gave us some great tips on exploring Rome and the Trastavere area. While I was there, I found that the power outlets were all Italian style and I didn't have an adapter, so Marco was kind enough to provide one to me. (Suggestion: put multiple power adapters in every room so U.S. travelers -- which are probably a large percentage of your clients -- don't have any issues charging their electronics.) The location of the Suites is great -- literally a minute walk from the Tram stop and a few minutes walk from the Trastavere train station. Thus, it's ideal to get around Rome and to/from both airports and Civitavecchia port. Overall, we had an aweseome stay at the Suites Trastavere!

Teatavere B&B close to train station

Posted Jun 26, 2016 on Hotels
Very friendly welcome. Room had great AC and comfy beds, but not comfy pillows. Breakfast was very basic, espresso, yogurt and croissants. Close to train station which was why we booked it. 30 minutes to Rome airport. Not many choices for food in the neighborhood. Ate at a Roadhouse Grill for lunch (pricey) and cheap pizza for evening meal. Tram is close, wifi excellent. Hard B&B to find...3rd floor of an apartment complex.

Ciao Kaye, Thank you so much for your review, we are happy you have enjoyed our place. And we really hope you will be with us in the future, in occasion of your next travel to Rome!!! Some little things, just to not create confusion for the other guests: Our pillows are memory foam brand: you can like, or not, but definy them " not comfy" seems to be a bit exagerated, beeing them the most famous and requested pillows in the world ;) Our Breakfast is a bit more complex than what you desribed: salty food as salami, mortadella, fresh cheese, sottilette, artichokes cream, 2 types of bread, cereals, cappuccino, the, tisana, etc etc. We cannot cook, unfortunately, as a B&B in Rome is not allowed to do, but we think we are offering a good mix of choice anyway ;) The B&B is difficult to find simply because...it's a B&B ;) WE are not a Hotel, we cannot advertise in a big way in the street for law and, honestly, we don't like to do it: each single person who cames here knows us well cause we normally share with him/her a good number of information, especially about "HOW TO ARIVE HERE", as we do with you. Rome is not famous for its signage, but we believe it is not so complicated to reach us, especially following the instructions that we give to each customer ;) Food in the neighbohood is really good: LUPPOLO STATION, OSTERIA PISTOIA, SALOTTO PORTA PORTESE, LA TAVERNACCIA, etc are only few of the restaurant you can find at a distance which goes from 15 to 300 meters by walking from the B&B ;) Maybe we were guilty, as we didn't give to you all the information needed, and maybe 1 day is not enough to enjoy particularly our wonderful city and our wonderful quarter: we hope to see you again, to show you how beautiful is our place!!!! Love from Rome, Marco

Roma bella!

Marco was very helpful, keeping in touch with us prior to arrival and supplying information about getting to the apartment. The neighbourhood suffers from graffiti and this put us off a bit. However, there were actually no problems. Getting there, via the H bus was straightforward, although a bit crushed. The bus stop was about 50 meters away. We used the tram to get in to Rome which was fast, with the stop 100 meters away. Eleanor served breakfast each morning with a good selection available. Overall a very good experience. Would recommend it for a trip to Rome.

Next time in Rome- this is my place!

My wife and I reached there a little earlier than check in time. Helena took us as guests very quick and welcomed us to the dining table for breakfast. This is not a fancy staying but surely a comfortable with good careless of Marco and Helena. Two nights we stayed in this suite which is very near to train station and no. 8 Trum just infront of the facility which runs to Rome central every few minutes. We felt we were in home. Absolutely worthwhile for the money and the value we received.

Friendly and charming B&B

Really charming B&B. Very friendly welcome, kitchen with drinks and snacks available any time. It's on the third floor of an apartment block, around 10 mins walk from central Trastevere and very close to the station. Tram goes right to Piazza Venezia.
