Nice & clean, friendly staff, convenient location
This B&B is only 10 minutes walking distance away from Termini, and it’s very convenient. The room is awesome; it is nicely decorated and clean. The staff was wonderful. She gave us a welcome drink and a map when we checked in. She also prepared breakfast for us every day. This place met all my expectations and I am highly recommended this place.

Very convenient location
10 minutes walk to Termini (train station) and 5 minutes walk to Republica Metro. You must make arrangements prior to arrival. Staff very nice and helpful. Very healthy breakfast with coffee and juice. Room is big and nice. Bathroom size OK with shower cabin, no problem with hot water and pressure. Highly recommended. Very good WiFi connection.

Wonderful stay, very clean
BBQueen was perfect for my 8 year old daughter and I. Julia was very helpful and accommodated our late arrival. You will be given keys to the property to come and go as you please. Someone is there in the mornings to serve breakfast and clean the rooms. The rooms are extremely clean and much larger than expected. Often time, rooms are very small in the city. And they have GREAT AIR CONDITIONING! The rooms are off of the main street so they are very quiet as well. The neighborhood can seem a bit run-down at night and some may be uneasy walking alone, but we are used to this atmosphere in large cities, so we stayed aware of our surroundings and had no problems at all. The distance to Termini train station was ideal. We could walk there in 5 minutes. I would definitely stay again.

Comfortable and Convenient Place
It is so good to stay in Julia's place. It is very closed to Metro and bus stop. The location is just between two stations for both Line A and B. There are many good review restaurants near by. Julia and her assistant are nice and friendly. If I go to Rome again, BBQueen is still my first choice. 非常安靜又舒適的地方. 離地鐵及公車站都很近. 強力推薦!.

Great location, great staff
The BBQueen is centrally located about 5 minutes’ walk to Termini and the Roman Baths. The room was comfortable and spacious, but the best part about this was staff. Julia, the manager, was very nice and welcoming on the first day. The following day she gave me a map and recommended best places to visit and how to get around. On our 4th day we had planned to take a day trip to Tuscany, and in our way to meeting point we got robbed! The crook took my husband wallet with all of our money and credit cards! We filed a police report and called Julia to notify. She got to the hotel and offered her phone to call credit card companies, gave us info to USA embassy and lend us $100 euros, also arranged with restaurant next door to let us order and pay later. She was super compassionate. We needed to check out the following day and we still haven’t received credit card replacement or money that was wired from home, but needed to catch our train to Naples at 10:00 am. She let us go! I promised to call her with credit card info next day (which I obviously did) but the point is that she trusted me, a complete stranger! She was sweet, understanding and compassionate. I will always remember this since those values are rarely found!

I stayed at BBQueen for 8 nights, and I am so happy that I found this hotel. It is close to both the Termini and the Repulica metro station, and there are a lot of convenient stores in the area and also a laundromat. The rooms are very clean and perfect for 1-2 people. Aveh and Julia are both super nice and friendly. They made me feel welcomed to Rome. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Rome.

Quiet and secure
BBQueen consists of three rooms on the ground floor set back from the main road, so it is very quiet. Clean and adequate for our two night stay in Rome. To get to the room, There are four locked doors to negotiate and were a trifle fiddley, but the added security was welcome. Apparently Julia, the owner did not receive my email regarding time of arrival, so we were left stranded on the street at 11pm waiting for her. If you do not have a phone, make sure your email messages are received as there is no open reception.

Pretty good location on a semi-quiet street
When I arrived in the middle of the day, there was a mini-market on the street. I wasn't expecting that at all. It seemed like mostly gypsies/indian migrants/african migrants trying to sell their wares and fruits. If I was a girl on my own, I might have been a little creeped out by that. In general, the area around Termini is pretty shady, but this hotel isn't bad; I never felt unsafe. When I arrived at the hotel, I didn't realize at all that it was basically just someones apartment on a ground floor. The owner greeted me, showed me around, and how to use all the keys (theres a few doors to go through that may or may not be locked at various times). It was a little long-winded in my opinion, but she clearly cared about her business and my well-being. The hotel is quite quiet at night, and provided no issues for me. The shower is good as well. The room isn't cleaned right away in the morning, rather, its cleaned in the evening. The location is very close to Termini, so transportation to/from the airport is easy, as well as taking the Metro. The breakfast is nice, its small and not a buffet, but its exactly what you need.

We stayed for 3 nights. 5-10 minutes walk from Roma Termini, the train station. From the outside, BBqueen is in the ground floor of a aged residential buiding. Inside, the apartment and the room is modern. Air-con is cool, bed is comfortable, toilet is clean, water pressure is strong, water is hot. Breakfast is sufficient and adequate. Neighbourhood looks unfriendly but is fine. Many shops, laundry, and restuarants. The only issue is you need to make appointment to check in with Julia, the owner, if you are early you might have to wait, and we were early, and waited for 1 hour.

Great location. Very small bathroom with s slow running drain. However, Julia was very good. Clear and precise on directions for keys ( a big deal) and making sure we caught our train the next day. Set up breakfast the night.before since we'd leave before it was served in th to he morning. .

Nice B&B close to everything
Modern and immaculate accommodations in a very safe neighborhood. A generous continental breakfast included in the price comes with pastries, toast, cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt, cheese and espresso coffees and cappucinos made on the spot. The Piazza della Republicca metro station, the Termini train and subway stations, and hop-on/hop-off bus stops are a short walk away. Plenty of restaurants, coffee shops and convenience stores in the immediate vicinity. Great attractions are also in the immediate area, such as the Baths of Diocletian, the Piazza della Republicca, the Via Nazionale with its affordable shopping and restaurants, the Palazzo delle Esposizioni and the Santa Maria Maggiore church (a must see!), to name just a few. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Julia, the owner, was absolutely lovely. She made us feel welcome and ensured that our stay was pleasant. She took care of all the details, such as printing our boarding passes and arranging for a car to the airport. She also offered lots of great tips on where to go and what to see. Language was not a barrier, as she is fluent in English, Italian, Portuguese and understands Spanish. We stayed at this B&B for 7 days / 6 nights and would most definitely stay there again. Highly recommend this B&B to anyone travelling to Rome.

Simple and Comfortable
BB Queen offers a simple yet comfortable stay in Rome. Julia is very friendly and helpful with suggestions on what to see and do. While not a complaint, guests should know that a market (everything from fruit to underwear) seems to be held every day on the street. It never bothered me, and began late morning, but it was a surprise to leave the courtyard and see vendors. The simple continental breakfast was the same for all four mornings.

This was a great find right near Termini and Repubblica stations. Our host Julia was lovely and very helpful. I would recommend emailing or calling her first to confirm your arrival time, as she is not always at the B&B, and she had apparently tried to email me but I didn't receive any emails, so we had to wadi about 20 minutes before she arrived. The area is well-equipped with restaurants, a laundromat and supermarkets all nearby.

Fantastic location and great staff
BBQueen is perfectly located for a visit to Rome. It is within walking distance to all of the famous sites, and is also very close to Termini station for adventures further afield. Julia couldn't be more helpful and will go out of her way to make sure your stay is comfortable. She is very knowledgable of the local area and will call and make reservations or enquires on your behalf.

Location is ideal,we left a cruise in Rome but wanted three extra. Days to explore.caught train from port to Termini station,followed Julia,s perfect directions and was at BBQueen in less than 7 minutes.our room was perfect for all our needs free wifi,breakfast,very clean and Julia is the perfect host.the only thing I would point out is once you find the address you go into a courtyard and there is not great directions where to go from there.we had to buzz another room to find where we had to go. Street markets and great restaurants at your doorstep,5 mins from train and bus station.very central to everything,really enjoyed our stay!!

When booking I did not realize that there was no staff on site. My husband and I needed a place to stay for one night between coming in on the train from Lucca and flying out the next morning. Julia met us and explained the door locks,etc. and left. She was delightful. She was very helpful in securing us a car to take us to the airport the next morning. We were the only people staying in the B&B which was a little spooky. The neighborhood is a little seedy but I guess safe enough. Don't eat at the restaurant next door. In fact, probably don't eat in the neighbor hood. The bed was very comfortable,the room clean and the bathroom adequate. For one night it was fine.

Although it is located in the yard of local residence building, the decoration in the room is very nice and homey. The owner is warm-hearted and very helpful. The road outside was under repair or something, I hope it would complete soon for future guests. Wi-Fi signal strength is satisfactory in the room.

BB Queen is a comfortable place to stay if you are only spending a day or two in Rome and then will be going elsewhere shortly after. Very conveniently located for Termini station (actual five minute walk). The apartment itself is very nice and our room was spacious and very clean. I found the bathroom to be a bit small, but nothing that was a major problem. I did find the breakfast underwhelming, though to be fair Julia's daughter was very attentive and kind. All in all a fine place for a day or two, especially for the price. If you are looking for a more luxe experience then it'll of course come at a premium. For what it was, BBQueen did a fine job!

perfect for our needs
This was our last night in Italy before heading home. We got in late and left for the train/airport at noon the next day. Train station is a 5 minute walk. Julia waited for us to arrive, let us keep our bags in the room until we left. She was gracious and accommodating. Breakfast was simple but filling and wonderful. The hotel is tiny and we enjoyed breakfast and discussion with two other couples, leaving the doors to our room open. Such an easy place to stay!

Julia runs this B&B and is very pleasant and helpful! The room we stayed in was spacious by European standards, very clean, secure and nicely decorated. Rome Termini (rail) is within 5 minutes walk and the Roman historic sites (the Colosseum, Trevi, etc) are all walkable from the BBQueen as well. I would stay here again and recommend it to friend and family visiting Rome.

Quiet haven well located
Tucked away behind old iron gates are three spotless quiet bedrooms bb queen ! Our room was white bright and simple, giving us a quiet respite from buzzing Rome. There is a small but perfectly adequate ensuite. There is a street market outside the gates- an added bonus. Julia the owner, is polite unassuming and lovely. Would confidently recommend .

This is a small b&b very convenient to Termini train station but still in a safe neighborhood. Julia, the owner, was very helpful when asked for any information and when securing a driver to Fumicino airport. The bedrooms are a decent size for Rome and face away from the street so are quite quiet at night. The bathroom, although small, had a good size shower and excellent water pressure. Everything was comfortable and immaculately clean. The continental breakfast included fresh fruit, croissants, breads, yogurt, cereal, juice and coffee. All in all a good value and a nice place to stay when in Rome for only a few days.

Perfect accomodation when seeing Rome!
From the owner greeting when we arrived to seeing us off after our three night stay everything was simply excellent. 5 minutes to the train station and all we did was walk everywhere.great little eateries just around the corner and a market right outside your front door for fruit and vegetables. The room was spotless and the shower was awesome! Could not think of anywhere else to stay when in Rome!

This was our first trip to Rome and found this on Expedia. The experience was excellent from the start--when we arrived there was a Post-It note on the buzzer button greeting us by name (my emails from her kept getting bounced unknown to me). No problem, we called her and sat down at the pizzeria restaurant right outside the gate for a light lunch and ended up having nice conversations with several locals who were having lunch. The rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. The breakfast adequate and according to our requests. The BBQueen is located near a bus stop and also close to the Terminale railroad station (don't wait for the buses!). When we go back to Rome, we stay at the BBQueen!

Great accommodation close to the train station
Our main reason for booking this B and B was its proximity to the train station, but it offers much more. The rooms were clean, quiet, nicely decorated and roomy for Europe. The breakfast of fruit and various breads was just what we needed to start our long days of sightseeing. Julia was friendly and accommodating and made sure she did anything she could to make our stay more comfortable. We would 100 percent recommend staying here when in Rome.

We stayed here the night before we flew out of Rome. We walked 5 minutes to the train station where we caught the train--30 minutes to Fumiacino [sic] airport. Julia gave us a fabulous tip for a restaurant and gelatoria nearby and we enjoyed a quiet last night in Rome. The room was clean, remodeled, and larger than many we had in Italy, plus it had a shower with great water pressure. :)

The B and B is located within an easy walk from the Termini train station and is tucked inside a courtyard so there is no street noise. Julia gave us a great suggestion for a restaurant where we had an amazing dinner. She made a nice latte for us upon arrival and made us feel welcome. The room was spotlessly clean and included a little fridge. I would stay here again without hesitation.
