I will stay here again

Posted Apr 16, 2015
Pros: The wifi and help being picked up at the bus station and being guided to the airport pick up station.
Cons: hotter water in the shower.
Location: Vatican, Sistine Chapel, and so many things I did not get time to see. It was close to stores and groceries.
Stephano met me at the bus station at 11:30 PM at night. As a female traveling alone this was really appreciated. He also helped me find a 6 Euro bus ride to the airport and walked me to the pick up spot early in the morning. I loved having access to the kitchenette the whole time and a nice private room. The black out windows were really black out windows which was great for jet lag. Everything was very clean, it is in a good part of the city. I walked to the Vatican in under ten minutes. My only minor wish would be that the water in the shower were just a few degrees hotter, but it was warm enough. The wifi was really good and strong and I got a lot of work done in the evenings. I will stay here again, the next time I come to Rome. So much more personal, roomier, and user friendly than a hotel.

Giovanni and his staff we very helpful. Giovanni arrange affordable transportation from airport and to our cruise port. I only wish the B&B were air conditioned as Rome was quite hot during our August visit.

Clean, convenient but needs better air conditioner

Posted Jul 14, 2013 on Hotels
The owner is friendly and helpful, the room and bathroom (shared with all guests) was clean and it was a plus to have no TV in the room. The only two improvements needed is an earlier breakfast time (8:30 am is too late) and the air conditioner was really just a fan that blew lukewarm air.

Perfect, friendly B&B in the middle of busy Rome

Posted Jul 11, 2013
We loved staying here! Giovanni (the owner) was so friendly and helpful! He recommended so many good places to eat and visit, and nice walks to get off the busier streets in Rome. The room was simple but nice and super close to the Vatican.

No air conditioning. No breakfast.

This flat gets very very hot. And hard to sleep at night with no air conditioning. We never saw the proprietor, he sent his friend to check us in and the cleaning lady to check us out 3 days later. The breakfast is nothing more then cereal and juice. Nice place with excellent location but overall extremely disappointing.

Great location!

Giovanni, the B&B owner, is very accommodating. Before we arrived he emailed us with directions from the FCO airport and helped us feel very comfortable about our upcoming visit. He was very welcoming upon arrival and helped us with directions, sights to see and food in the area. The room was very simple but very comfortable and quiet. We felt extremely safe in the area and loved the short walk to the Vatican.

Loved it!

The room was very nice and the staff were incredibly accomodating. The room lacked any entertainment facilities such as television or radio but this was not an issue and the fantastic location of the hotel more than made up for any problems this could have caused. Overall, I would recommend the B&B to anyone going to Rome

great location, wonderful owner

this B and B is located within 5 mins of San Pietro basilica, and is a 10 min walk away from the best restaurants in Rome. Giovanni, the owner, is extremely nice and gave us a lot of advice on where to go, good places to eat, key bus routes etc. His restaurant recommendations were awesome and we had a great time in Rome. Nice free breakfast too! Would definitely recommend.

Great location, lovely B&B

Posted Mar 31, 2011
The B&B 300 was wonderful! Great location - only a minute or two walk away from St. Peter's & the Vatican. There didn't seem to be many restaurants or nightlife around, but the Trastevere neighborhood is a quick 15 minute walk away and has many great options. Back at the B&B, the room was quaint and comfortable. My boyfriend and I stayed in one with a private bathroom, which made our room a little smaller but I didn't mind. As others have mentioned, it's an apartment with four separate rooms and then a common hallway and a kitchen, and the shared bathroom. A cute little place with a great location - though be warned it's very hard to find!! When you get to the street look for two double brown doors, and next to the door are the listings of the tenants - B&B Tre Pupazzi is on there, in very small writing. Giovanni, the owner, was really nice. He recommended local restaurants and nice walks to take through the city, it was very helpful. I would definitely recommend this place, and if I go back to Rome I'll be staying here!
