Excellent hotel

Pros: Hotel was everything we hope and 5 mins walk from Rome's main train station. It has a metro station outside but we didn't need to use it as you could
Cons: More information on the attractions
Location: Plenty of shopping but no real shopping centres. If you like great architecture you will love Rome.
Booked this trip to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and my wife's birthday. Ciampino airport was only 40mins by coach to central Rome and small and efficient. We took a sight seeing bus to get out bearings but as the sights are all so close to each other we didn't actually use it all. (We've used a lot of these bus tours to get our bearings but this wasn't the best.) All the main sights charge to go in and the information about them is poor. It's really worth researching ahead of time if you don't want to get ripped off. The Vatican museum is good but even of an quiet day in January the Sistine Chapel was too full to really appreciate. Best to try restaurants off the main streets as these are more likely to be used by locals and the food and service will be better.

Great location, amazing place

We stayed here for 3 nights from 14th-17th Jan. The staff were all excellent and the conceirge extremely helpful. The hotel is magnificent and we were very kindly given a free upgrade as it was off season. The hotel is ideally located with a metro station directly outside and only a short cab ride from the main attractions. We didn't use the spa facilities however they looked great, albeit slightly overpriced. Would definitely come back to this hotel again. Ps get the room service, its immense ;-)

Not worth the price

The rooms are an allergy nightmare, overly scented. The front desk staff was less then helpful when it came to finding a room that wasn't facing fans and I'm a gold member, the linens are of the poorest quality. The worst was the bellhop as he assumed American's can't speak Italian, when he was talking poorly about my partner I was more then happy to let him know I understood every word. I would never return to this Marriott.

Très bel hôtel

Pros: Ses volumes. Le professionnalisme du personnel. Le confort. Le métro au pied de l'hôtel.
Cons: Odeurs très désagréables dans la salle de bain (remontées d'égout). Wifi peu efficient. Le prix des petits déjeuners;
Très bel hôtel. De beaux volumes. Le personnel est aimable et réactif: recherche d'adresses, appel de taxis... Chambre spacieuse. Belle hauteur sous plafond. Produits de toilette sans cesse renouvelés.

Cool Room

Pros: it was in quite a good location
Cons: the heating in the rooms
we found the hotel and staff were good but the bedroom was cool and we couldn't get it warm even when we turned the thermostat up

Location: 地下鉄駅のすぐそばにあり便利。またテルミニ駅にも歩いて行けるため、活動の拠点として最適。
持参したカップをルームサービスに捨てられた。私物を勝手に捨てるホテルはここが初めて。 初日、バスタブに前の宿泊者の髪の毛が残っていた。
