Just PerfectPosted Aug 26, 2015
Cons: ...perhaps a kettle in the room - I am English after all and we do like our tea....
I have given top marks for overall rating, staff, condition, cleanliness and comfort - rightly so. We walked pretty much to all the sites - even the Vatican. Do venture out to find a restaurant, the local ones are a real tourist trap - you won't find Italians eating in them [if they beckon you in it's not a good one] Do the day trip to Pompeii and Versuvius. Rome by night on a Segway - great fun. Catch the bus to the Catacombs. The hotel is perfectly situated to reach all the well known places. The staff are friendly and generous with their time, you will not be disappointed. [Ignore those who have criticised the breakfast - it's all there, cereal, breads, cake, fruit, yoghurt, eggs loads of choice to drink - what the heck to they eat at home?] I wish I could back.....

Just a walk to everything!Posted Aug 22, 2015 on Hotels
Having been to Rome a couple of times previously, we were aware of how walk-able the city could be to most of the ancient sites.....if we chose a well located Hotel. Caeser House, is about as good a location as you can imagine. Just 100 steps from the front door and we had the Colloseum in sight! So, we were super happy with the location. On arrival, we walked there from the train station and in the following days, all over the city. The Hotel reception was friendly and efficient. The room was comfortable, and had the best air conditioning we have experienced in a European Hotel. A big tick when the temperature is 35C. The only negative in a 4 day stay was the less than inspiring breakfast.

Best Place to Stay in Rome!!Posted Aug 3, 2015 on Hotels
The stay was absolutely amazing! The location of the hotel was great- we were able to come back for breaks during the day when it got too hot. The room was very spacious and comfortable, plenty of enough room for 3 people. The staff of the hotel, wow we have never had such good service before. They were always helpful in recommending restaurants and telling us the ins and outs of the city that only locals would know. Overall, it was an amazing stay!

God beliggenhed og fantastisk servicePosted Jul 28, 2015 on Hotels

Our Home in RomePosted Jul 22, 2015
Pros: The key points for us were location, location, location...
Cons: We stayed in the suite and there was absolutely nothing that we could say needing improving...
Location: The Colosseum, Forum are right there.. the edgy Monti for dinning and shopping...Easy walks to the Jewish quarter and the Tiber...
Caesar House and its staff are one of those finds you sometimes can't believe has happened. Located in walking distance to so much of interest to any visitor to Rome, its just perfect. We were in Rome in a very very hot July so were able to pop back to the hotel to freshen up and continue our sight seeing without loosing too much time. Sunny is a gem..He looked after us wonderfully...I really cannot recommend the hotel more.

hotel met goede bedoelingenPosted Jul 20, 2015 on Hotels

Perfect comfortable base in central RomePosted May 23, 2015 on Hotels
Stayed 3 nights with other couples to celebrate a special birthday. Hotel wasn't what we were expecting as it was located above a floor of offices and looked residential so didn't have a street facing reception but it was really quaint, well looked after and felt more like an apartment than a hotel. Staff were excellent, helpful, friendly, informative but not intrusive. Room was spotless. Public areas spotless. On one corridor of rooms there was no breakfast area so it was delivered to the room instead which was lovely unless travelling with other people whom you hoped to catch up with or make plans with over breakfast. There was a small lounge area but no bar or restaurant although plenty on the street below. Having the keys to access the main door was flexible. Location was perfect, within walking distance of every single main attraction plus little shopping streets, squares, restaurants, bars etc. Central but relaxed vibe. Literally a 2 minute walk from the Forum and 4 minutes from the Spanish Steps. Would definitely stay again and would definitely recommend it as a base for experiencing Rome but not if you wanted a hotel with lots of facilities and were wanting to spend lots of time at the hotel rather then venture out. For us, it was perfect.
