Poor communication, bad bed, no lighting.
Car service from the airport was reserved through the Casawally. The driver was on time and was pleasant, but when he dropped us off he vaguely pointed in the direction of the front door, which was probably 25 to 30 feet away, and then turned around and left. We were not sure exactly which door the driver was pointing to. We stood around in the general area having no idea when and if a Casawally representative was going to show up. A rep showed up about 15-20 minutes later, fortunately, but the experience was unnerving and not a good way to start a vacation.
When we got inside the three-bedroom apartment everything looked nice, but the second that I sat down on the single bed (pull-out couch), it collapsed. We removed the mattress from the couch and saw that the three distinct sections of the bed were not attached to each other in any manner. Meaning that we could put the bed back in order again, but we could not make it stable. So we had to permanently moved the mattress to the floor. Not comfortable, and certainly not what we bargained for.
Our apartment was on the top floor of the building, seven sections of staircase up. The common area staircase had no artificial lighting at all. At night the staircase was pitch black from top to bottom. I tripped and fell because of the lack of lighting.
The negatives here -not all are mentioned - significantly outweighed the positives at the Casawally.
