Not a four star hotelPosted Aug 7, 2016 on Hotels
The hotel was OK. The terrace/rooftop was brilliant, but the room was tired and had damp on the walls, also much smaller than the square footage quoted, wouldn't stay again unfortunately but this is no reflection on the staff who were very nice.

Ritzy looking placePosted Aug 1, 2016
Pros: The look
Location: lots of little restaurants
over all good, TV was a little wonky but you don't go to Roma to watch tv. Fridge in our room was a little cooler than the room temperature

The Hotel is in a good location, walking distance to Metro, Bus lines and Taxi. A few blocks away from the Vatican. Friendly helpful staff at the hotel. Nearby shopping and restaurants.

3 Great days in RomePosted Jun 17, 2016 on Hotels
My wife and I spent 3 days in Rome and had a greta time. Weather couldn't have been better. Visited our favorite restaurants, attended the Papal audience and saw the sites.

RealityPosted Jun 1, 2016 on Hotels
The hotel stuff was very kind and Amalia at breakfast was an angel. I was dissapointed that hotel has no iron, so if you needed to iron your clothes you had to give it to dry cleaners and it takes literally one day to get it back and it's also expensive to iron one dress:((( so take iron with you if you want to stay in this hotel. Shower heads are old and too little water is coming out. Breakfast was not fresh but Italians usually have coffee and croissant for breakfast. That's culture! So don't hope for variety. I was dissapointed that not much was offered at breakfast but you find a lot of cakes and omelette. Beds are ok the only problem that there is no blanket just the cover for bed. Bed sheets and towels are of a very cheap quality. Hotel needs maintenance. Curtains are falling and walls are damaged. If it's the cheapest 4 star hotel available in Rome then book it but it's to any standard 3 star hotel. I stayed worldwide in many different hotels and know how much it is really worth. Also no parking at the hotel.

Lovely hotel in a great location for the Vatican.Posted May 5, 2016
Pros: Clean and beautifully decorated, Reception staff always helpful.
Cons: There was a fridge in the room with a mini bar but I would have preferred tea/coffee making facilities over a mini bar.
Location: Great location in walking distance of all attractions you are likely to want to see in Rome.
The great location made it easy to get around Rome on foot, just a few minutes walk to the Vatican and St Peters Square. The rooftop Restaurant had views of the Basilica with a good choice for Continental Breakfast that catered for most tastes. There is a lovely family run Taverna across the road that is well worth a visit.
