Nice place especially the front desk. He is very helpful, the best part of our stay. I gave it a four for the following reasons: 1. we don't have a kettle in the room and that's really not convenient for us. 2. The first day we checked in the room was little dusty but the second day the cleaning was good. Have to mention their breakfast was good. Love it, with salad etc. Very balanced.

Our check-out was at 10 am and we had booked two tours and the front desk was so nice in allowing us leave our backpacks with them. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. All the staff was friendly and nice.

Rooms for small and sparse, but clean and safe. Little sitting in the room and no common area to sit and relax. Staff was fine and breakfast was good. Location near the train station is good but nothing special.

Simple, clean and comfy!
My stay was wonderful! The staff was extremely helpful and even let me borrow an umbrella when I asked where to buy one. The room was nice, comfy, clean bed, working air etc. Maybe an 8 minute walk from the train station. Not super near a metro so i just walked to termini to catch mine. Also, the staff is there most of the time but as stated on their description you should let them know when you plan to arrive. If they arent there they do have a fee phone numbers to call and someone will be with you very shortly. Just dont show up super late and expect someone to be there 24 hours!

Super friendly staff made me feel welcome
I’m sure one can find lots of hotels in Rome. What is unusual about this one, however, was how genuinely friendly the staff is. Alessandro in particular was unbelievably personal and helpful and acted as if he was an old friend I had known for years. No matter how many questions I threw at him (and how many times I forgot the answers he gave me), he patiently explained what I needed to know and really made me feel as if I’m staying at a friend’s house. The only thing I would ask them to re-consider is the toilet design in the bathroom (doubling as a BD at the same time). I opted for a small room, which was very clean and quiet. The breakfast was plentiful and kept me going for hours. I will not hesitate recommending it to my friends and will stay there myself again for sure.

The room was nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable and everything worked well. The only thing that was a hassle was that a lot of water would leak out of the shower which caused a big mess on the floor. Besides that, everything was good.

we were passing through Rome, and this is a great location....convienent to main train station...lots of restaurants in walking distance. We have stayed at Deseo in the past, and will stay again..Wonderful choices at breakfast. something for everyone.

Great place to stay
This is a wonderful hotel in a good area. Near to Termini, transport links, cafes and bars etc.To us Most impressive was the layout- modern, spotless , clean and comfy rooms set in an old, authentic Italian residential building. room cleaning wasn't perfect ( toiletries and glasses not replaced) but otherwise perfect.

I was only staying in this hotel for one night. As soon as I was shown the room the general good appearance made a good impression on me, so I only stayed for a few minutes feeling very keen to start my short visit in Rome. Everything, and particularly the bathroom, looked very new and contemporary in style. It wasn't until I went to bed at night that I noticed the presence of a boiler in the room that also serves the one next door. This really spoilt my whole experience because I found it very difficult to get to sleep. In the end I had to improvise making some ear plugs with toilet tissue. I also noticed a strong perfume in the room which may not be for everyone's taste. Although I appreciate the good intentions of the staff, they should definitely tame the amount of perfume in the room.

Amazing location
The hotel is a gem for the price. Amazing rooms (very clean), the friendliest staff I have ever encountered and a dream location (metro is literally 10 min walk). However, I did get stuck in the lift when I arrived but that didn’t bother me because the staff helped tremendously. But all in all, the hotel was wonderful, with the comfiest of beds and I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for 62 and 492 bus back after a long day out. Order airport transfer 20 mins before you think you need it and bear in mind you might be invited to tip. Overall, a very good base with nice restaurants clode by and Galetaria Romana round the corner.

Great location close to Terminii railway station and metro, there are also some restaurants nearby. The rooms we stayed in were on the second floor. They were newly refurbished and are modern and clean. The rooms are quite small and the shower in rooms1 & 5 are very small. We stayed in 1 and 4 the second time and room 4 was bigger and the shower was very much bigger. Breakfast was tasty and adequate. Staff in the breakfast room were friendly and helpful. Resection staff were also very friendly and Simone took us to a very good pizza restaurant on the day we arrived. Thank you again. There are no bar facilities or public areas in the hotel other than the breakfast room. At the moment there is a lot of building work going on both inside and outside, however we weren't inconvenienced by it
