Lovely team, thin walls
The front desk team was lovely, and even left us a bottle of champagne and a nice room. Unfortunately, we ended up next door to a couple with a baby that did not stop screaming the entire time, which made it clear quite how thin the walls were! We could hear every door closing etc. Our room also smelled of cigarette smoke the entire stay. We spoke to the front desk about it and they said they would try to figure out where the smoke was coming from which we appreciated. The area is about a 20-minute walk from the main sights which is doable if it's not raining. And it has an elevator which is great! The air conditioning worked very well and the wifi speed was the best we had in Italy.

Great Value near Via Veneto
Staying at the Domus Via Veneto is like staying with family. The staff (especially Mauricio) looks out for you and is always looking to help out. Location is excellent. There’s a Co op supermarket next door. Room has a mini bar and kettle to make tea and coffee. A continental breakfast is brought to your room each morning. Room is quiet and bed was comfortable. I wouldn’t call the room fancy, but it was comfortable and was terrific value. I would definitely return.

Great stay in domus via veneto
Had a great stay at the domus via Veneto. It’s a very centrally located small hotel that is well run. The manager Mauricio is amazing. So warm and helpful. It’s like staying with family. Building hotel is located in is a bit rundown, but hotel rooms are very comfortable, and the hotel thoughtfully provides everything you need.... Coffee maker and hot water urn in your room as well as stocked mini bar. There’s a Co op supermarket right next door. I would happily return.

The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The location - right across from the US Embassy and very near to the main train station (15 - 20 minute walk) and the Spanish steps (also about 15 minute walk) - is ideal. The rooms are very clean and the beds comfortable. The espresso/coffee maker and fridge in the rooms are both very nice touch. The only reason we did not mark it a 5 is that the showers are very small but they have great water pressure and very hot water. We will stay here again on our next trip to Rome.

I asked the manager one day ahead of my return flight to book a 4:30 AM taxi pick up for me and paid him 60 euros (regular taxi fare to airport is 48 euros). The taxi didn't show up so I had to run around on the streets with my luggage at 4:40 am to find another taxi which fortunately I did. When I called Domus via Veneto to report this matter, the manager said he will follow this up and refund me my money. I sent several emails and all they did was sending me the confirmation of reservation for 4:45 AM and told me I have to follow up with the taxi company myself even if they did a mistake in booking for the right time. This could cost me a flight and all I asked was for a refund for taxi reservation. They never sent me a refund and stopped responding to my calls and emails.

Beautiful Guestrooms in Rome!
Very cute little guest house in the center of Rome! Listen to all recommendations from the owner—he is fantastic and told us exactly where to eat and avoid the tourist places. The recommendations alone are priceless! The guestroom was sparkling clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was served every morning, and it is a great start to the day. The room had everything you need, including a hair dryer. The A/C was welcome as it was hot & sticky in Rome this trip. You will not be disappointed!

Very happy with this lovely hotel. Very clean and quiet. Breakfasts served at our room are wonderful. In a ver safe neighborhood. The only thing need to get used to is the old lift.

Upscale area close enough to train station
I wanted to be close to the train station to get back and forth to the airport and to Milan, but didn't want to be surrounded by hostels. This hotel was close enough that I walked with my carry on bag. I passed luxury hotels including the St. Regis and an embassy. It was a secure area. I am a female traveller. The family owners-operators were wonderful people. Very quiet. The hallways in the building were not pretty, but upstairs in the rooms, all great.

Great location and very comfortable room. Breakfast is served in the room but the room is so small and only one chair, you have to eat sitting on the bed. No parking nearby.. rooms are on the 4th floor and there is a small elevator. Very quiet.

You want to book here! AMAZING property!
This property was even better than I thought it would be! It was a HUGE room (for Italy) and super comfortable. Breakfast was delivered on a cart to our room every morning, which was charming. Romantic location. Staff was super friendly and had spot on recommendations for dining. Easy to walk to all the sights. Convenient to get to the train station, but not the undesirable location of the train station. I would stay here again without a question!

Everything about this little place is great!
A great little guest house in a lovely area. The welcome was wonderful. Monica was very friendly and informative. Rooms are comfortable and the showers are good, with air conditioning to keep cool and blankets to kerp warm. It is about 10 minutes from the metro and bus routes, with restaurants and cafes close by. I would absolutely recommend this guest house as a place to stay when exploring this beautiful city.

Outstanding!
Outstanding! Not a full service hotel which is one of its better features; quiet, not a lot of hustle and bustle. But, it does maintain a 5 star feel because of the cleanliness, nice features, breakfast / coffee available in the room each morning. And most importantly, the front desk Staff. Very nice, very helpful, very accommodating. We will return!

Great trip to Rome
This is a very nice hotel and I really cannot say enough about the staff. The room was very clean and smelt nice. Breakfast was good and served at the exact time you ordered it. Beds were comfortable and the room had its own air conditioning, a perfect place for rest after a day of walking in the sun. The shower was small, to match the bathroom, but I guess that's how it is in the old city. Very safe area; the American embassy if across the street with police on 24/7. On our way there, Air Canada lost our bag. They haven't delivered it for two and half days, but we didn't even notice because Luca and Monica took care of calling and dealing with the situation while we were out; we didn't have to waste one second on the phone with A.C.'s "representatives" in Italy. It was a beautiful stay all around, would deferentially go back.

Perfect location for a short stay in Rome
This is not a typical hotel but more of a small rooming apartment in a historic building. The location is perfect and close to many attractions and only a 5 min walk to the metro/subway. The service is excellent and the rooms comfortable and clean. A small continental breakfast is delivered upon request each morning. Front desk hours are kept for most of the day but you let yourself in/out with your own keys outside of these hours. Parking is available very close for $25 euro/night but would advise against a rental car in the city. Some minor issues with internet/wifi strength and shower draining properly but would recommend this hotel if you don't require a full service, 4 star luxury hotel. Gianluca and his small staff made sure each guest was well taken care. Compared to other accommodations, the price was fair.

Our planned 2 day trip unfortunately turned into a brief overnight stay, but the hotel staff did everything they could to ensure we were able to make the most of our time. The hotel itself was rather charming & the staff helpful & welcoming. We'd like to return here again.

Good location
This is not a hotel - it is a bed & breakfast establishment. The photo of the front of the guest house is misleading as the actual entry to Domus Via Veneto is on the 4th Floor of the building. On arriving we were not impressed and actually wondered what we were letting ourselves in for, however, after the initial shock the room we had was quite good, very clean and spacious. There is no dining room and 'continental' breakfast was served in our room - this was adequate. The two main advantages to the accommodation were a) its location adjacent to the American Embassy and within reasonable walking distance of the Piazza Bernini, the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain and b) the owners were extremely pleasant and friendly. Also many restaurants nearby including the Hard Rock Cafe. In spite of our initial reservations we would use this guest house again principally because of its price and location.

Good hotel, lovely staff!
We stayed here for 3 nights last week on a short break to Rome. The hotel itself is more than adequate but what stood out for me were the reception staff especially Monica who was so friendly. The breakfast in our room was a great idea too and much easier than going to a breakfast room. The only slight downside to this hotel is the location, it is I suppose a mid range hotel and the location probably reflects that, but it is just a few minutes further to walk to the main sights than if you are staying say nearer to Cavour or via Nazionale which is not that much more expensive.

The b&b was amazing. Very clean and in an amazing location. Monica, the lady who manages the b&b, is wonderful. She is very helpful and accommodating and made our stay extremely pleasant. I would definitely recommend you to stay here, and only hope you have Monica there to make your stay even more enjoyable.

We loved our stay at Domus Via Veneto. The front desk was super friendly and helpful in terms of travel recommendations, tips and any other requests regarding our stay. Breakfast in bed is certainly a very nice touch as well. The location is super safe and the area is pretty quite so no one will wake you up in the middle of the night. Metro stop is not super close, but maybe 7-8 min walk from the hotel. However, bus route 80 stops right at the corner of the building, and a few taxis are always waiting 2 blocks away from the building. All being said, Rome is a rather small city and you can get to many of the main city sights in 20 minutes walking from the hotel. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again.

This hotel is a hidden gem well located in the centre of Rome, a 5 minute walk away from villa borghese. We loved everything about our stay at the hotel, the breakfast was brought to us every morning at the prompt time we chose and the hotel staff Monica and Luca were very welcoming and couldn't do enough to make sure we had a pleasant stay. We will definitely be staying here again when we return to Rome.

One of the best
The guest house is located about a 15/20 minute walk from Termini station, which was relatively easy to find. If you want to save on the walking, a taxi would be very straight forward. On arrival we were greeted by Luca at the door which was a lovely touch after a few hours of travelling. He could not have been anymore helpful and ensured we were fully briefed on the set of keys (a very safe building) and also on the sites we needed to see during our trip. They provide a large map of the city so no need to worry about finding one before you arrive. The room was immaculate and decorated beautifully. The comfiness of the beds, access to heating/air conditioning in the room and also the large powerful shower were just a few of the positives. There is also a safe in the room free of charge and large towels. The continental breakfast is delivered to your room at a time of your choice. This included a selection of bread rolls, croissants, yoghurts and drinks, in which you can choose exactly what you do and do not want each day. The service we received throughout our stay was second to none and I would recommend to all.

I stayed here for a few nights with my boyfriend whilst sight seeing in Rome. We were so pleased with our stay, our room was spotless and was cleaned daily. We had breakfast in bed every morning. The lovely lady on reception was so helpful- service with a smile! The only downside was that it was on the forth floor of a building and our legs hurt walking round Rome all day and then up the stairs - but it was good exercise! We will definitly stay here away if we go back to Rome.

The rooms in this hotel are very nice and the staff is helpful and friendly. The hotel is located directly across from the US Embassy and there are lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Getting to the hotel (4th floor) was a bit confusing but overall I would still recommend this hotel.

Perfect find, once you find it!
Location is great. Once you find it and figure out the lift! Minutes to 2 metro stations. Wonderful warm welcome, we were given a map with excellent directions to all the major sights and warnings of where to watch out for safety and pickpockets. The room was basic but clean and well appointed. Breakfast delivered each morning was enough to get your day started. Soundproofing isn't bad for Europe, we could hear water running in our neighbor's room but that's all. This is a great find!

Amazing front desk service!
We loved the hotel and were happy with our stay there. In fact we were only staying for one night and tried to change our reservation to be able to stay a few more nights, sadly they were booked. However, all in all a good stay. The young lady at the front desk was amazing! She answered our many questions with a smile. She went out of her way to be helpful. She is truly a gem and the owners should be thankful to have her there.

Great hotel. I can't speak highly enough about the service we received, the lady on reception was so kind and helpful, you could ask her anything. The rooms were very Clean and comfortable, the location was good (around 25mins walk to Collosseum, 10mins Spanish steps, 40mins Vatican) and the neighbourhood is good. Breakfast is served in your room at whatever time you ask for which is good. My girlfriend was sick one of the Days and the lady on reception helped us to rebook our tickets for the Vatican as we'd already paid upfront, and also offered to help her with anything she needed. All in all a great hotel that I would truly recommend.

Nice "Guest House" just off the main drag.
Discovered the "guest house" after running into some high rates and a sold out night at the regular hotels. The hotel is the 4th floor of a 6 story building with 5 rooms, nicely refinished, comfortable setting. Access to the guesthouse is via steps, or a small elevator. They are based more on a B&B style, no 24 hour desk coverage. The staff, Luca (manager) and Monica (front desk/clean) were very helpful and responsive in their suggestions, and went out of their way to help with any issues, be it during desk hours, or after. Breakfast was prompt and delivered to your room.

Staff were great and helped give us directions to attractions. Italian style breakfast served to you in your room whatever time you request it. Our room was clean, spacious and comfy bed. The hotel was hard to find though as there are no signs outside. 5 min walk from the metro station, good location.

Lovely Room and Great Location!
This is a very small hotel that would go unnoticed if you weren't looking for it! It is on the 4th floor of a larger building. I must say it has one of the most personable greeting we have received. We had rose petals in a heartshape and flowers on the breakfast that they bring to your room. It is very clean and large enough especially on European standards. Our hostess was a lovely young girl who was so helpful. The room was very comfortable the breakfast was very, very nice. I would recommend this little place to everyone. Just make sure you ck it out so you can find it easily on your map quest because the name is very small on the side of the door.
