I don't recommended at all haha
The only good thing about this hotel was the location, Iwas supposed to pay 46€ for 2 nights and I had to pay 100€ upon arrival because the receptionist said the cost was wrong on this webpage, we also had to move to another hotel when we got there because supposedly they missed our reservation and sent us to another hotel which wasn't what they promised! Really bad hotel! I don't recommended at all.

Value for money
On arrival I was a bit nervous as from the outside it doesn't look up to much especially as you head down to the basement but it was surprisingly good especially for the price. A bit out of town but close to Manzoni tube station (literally around the corner) and easily accessible to Termini station to head to and from airport. The staff are very helpful and friendly, our room was well decorated, spacious and clean. TV, sofa and Safe included. The only negative was the bathroom was private but across a shared kitchen area although the other room rarely used the shared area so not too bad. Also if you like a decent fluffy towel take your own as the ones provided are basic. Breakfast was free for one day 3 euros pp if you wanted it on others. Very simple, coffee, pastries and sweet toast but nice enough for one day. Staff are only on site 8am-11am. WiFi is very patchy. You are likely to need to pay upfront on arrival.

Nice host & good location!
The host was super nice. He gave us good advice about our trip itinerary. The neighbourhood was safe there. The hostel was close to the Colosseum, Palatine Hall and Roman Forum. Just about 10 mins walk will do. Our stay was overall pretty good. One more thing worth mentioning is that the hostel was close to terminal station. Just two stops of metro. Convenient!

Good Hostel, very close to colosseum.
This hostel is not far from Termini train station, it’s about 15-20min walk, if you take bus 360 from Manzoni it’s only 10min to get Termini. This Hostel also very close to Colosseum only 7min by bus I think it’s no 87. Location is very convenient, Breakfast is not very good!! It's better not to consider it! because if you expected a good breakfast? you'll be disappointed. They just provide piece of bread every morning and there are some jams outside the bedroom that’s all. We didn’t like it at all!! Note! In order to check in you have make a phone call to the owner, there's a phone number outside the door. As soon as you booked the owner will send you his number anyway. But make sure you have a mobile phone!!

The air-conditioner did not work in room 101...they looked at it and said it would take 20 mins to cool down and left. Never worked all night in mid-June heat and humidity! The staff are not available in the middle of night.

My stay at Double B was great. Double B is not a hotel, it is more like a guest house instead. The owner and staff are very kind and friendly. They were keen on making sure that we were comfortable and that all was fine. I would have liked to rest a bit more on my last day; however, check-out was at 10:30. I think that they are on a strict schedule with guests arriving and departing, so I understand the need to check-out a bit early. We were allowed to leave our bags there until we were off to the airport. If you are expecting a place with eggs, bacon, and other breakfast items, Double B is not the place for you. I am not a big breakfast eater, so the fresh bread, juices, coffee, tea, and other treats provided were fine for me. The neighborhood was very nice and about a 15 minute walk to the Colosseum. There was a movie theater about 5 minutes away and tons of restaurants and churches. I would definitely stay at Double B again in the future.

First, the owner was late 40 minutes of the first appointment even I have already replied their e-mail request of arrivature meeting, and I was late my business appointment because of this. Second, they added an additional price. Even they "wrote" on the explanation text as "resort fee" even they don't have any "resort" like a pool, beach or garden etc., it is very confusable and the total price is not reflected to the Rewards. In addition, it is not refundable after the booking even I am not agreed this "resort fee". I believe it is a FAKE using of Hotels.com. However the room was very clean even situated in semi-underground, including a private shower room. They did everyday bed making and changing towels. The hostess is very kindful even I didn't take breakfast. It situated at a good ans safe zone, near a metro station only ten minutes from Termini central station. This is good quality comparing the total price including this resort fee even it is more expensive than the price which indicated. If the owner didn't late and the price is correctly indicated to the total price, they got my 4 stars. BUT I have needed a cheap staying for my business, and I found this hotel sorting cheper prices. THEY SHOULD INCLUDE THEIR "RESORT FEE" TO THE TOTAL PRICE, specially to benefit totally 10% reflected to the Hotels.com Rewards. AND THE OWNER SHOULD NOT BE LATED TO THE APPOINTMENT.

ATTENZIONE Esperienza pessima
Purtroppo ho prenotato senza leggere le recensioni (perchè mi era stata rifiutata una prenotazione precedente con hotels.com, perchè??!!). Elenco solo alcuni degli aspetti negativi. Il giorno prima di arrivare è stato impossibile contattare la struttura per comunicare l'orario d'arrivo o per chiedere la conferma della prenotazione. Il giorno d'arrivo siamo rimasti al citofono e al telefono mezz'ora senza che nessuno ci rispondesse o ci aprisse, siamo riusciti ad entrare grazie ad una persona che dopo essere uscita ci ha lasciato la porta aperta. Una volta entrati ci è stato chiesto un importo doppio rispetto a quello della prenotazione. Come motivazione ci è stato detto che riguarda la tariffa resort! Io mi chiedo in un B&B senza colazione, senza prodotti per il bagno, con il wi-fi che non funziona, senza piscina, senza centro benessere come si fa a chiedere 40€ di tariffa resort non menzionata nemmeno nella prenotazione!!! Quello che mi ha fatto arrabbiare di più è stato che il servizio clienti di Hotels.com non è riuscito a darmi alcuna spiegazione al riguardo. Mi dispiace ma dopo questa pessima esperienza di prenotazione utilizzerò altri siti molto più chiari e professionali. La struttura è datata e sporca, il letto pieno di capelli, lo sciacquone con il pulsante rotto, doccia pessima, asciugamani sporchi. Mai più Hotels.com

Esperienza deludente
Esperienza deludente in questo B&B romano. Al di la dei famosi prezzi "comprensivi di tasse e commissioni incluse" cui vanno aggiunti però, in fase di effettiva prenotazione, tassa di soggiorno e il salato "contributo di pulizia camera", veniamo informati all'arrivo di un altro costo aggiuntivo non opportunatamente segnalato: la colazione! Non è infatti compresa nel prezzo ma viene servita a pagamento, in barba alle politiche della classica formula letto&colazione. La camera assegnataci, scarna nell'arredamento e priva di adeguata ventilazione e illuminazione naturale (era presente una sola finestrella tipica dei seminterrati posta a circa 180 cm dal pavimento) ma comunque climatizzata occupa una seconda ala mai raffigurata in alcuna delle foto proposte in rete. Il Bagno in camera è cieco, addirittura sprovvisto di aspiratore; la caldaia poco efficiente fornisce acqua calda ad intermittenza. Causa posizione sfavorevole e' assente il segnale di quasi tutti gli operatori telefonici;il wi-fi gratuito è altresì scarso e la poca forza della connessione impedisce una regolare navigazione. Il personale, molto cortese e disponibile, è però assente per gran parte della giornata ed è reperibile telefonicamente. In generale il rapporto qualità prezzo e molto sfavorevole, supportato soltanto dall'ubicazione in centro, l'immediata vicinanza ai mezzi di traporto pubblico (metro in primis) e la pulizia degli ambienti (anche se non impeccabile nonostante il contributo versato).

Péssima estadia. Apesar do valor no hoteis.com eles inventam taxas que chega a dobrar o valor final, sem comunicação prévia, me senti roubada e enganada, tanto pelo hotel quanto pelo hoteis.com, que hora nenhuma falou deste valor de taxas, que já deveria estar incluso no valor caso chegue a dobrar o valor anunciado. Com um calor de 40ºC em Roma, além de não funcionar o ar-condicionado o aquecedor ficava ligado e não desligava. Só havia pessoas para comunicação até 12hs e ainda super confusas, sem saber o que cobrar, o que falar, que falava que o ar condicionado estava funcionando apesar de conversarmos pingando suor... enfim, não recomendo pra ninguém.

Houve atraso no meu vôo, informei por email ao double B que iríamos chegar bem tarde, não obtivemos nem resposta. Ao chegar com minha família não havia ninguém nos aguardando. Tivemos que procurar um outro hotel para dormir naquela noite. E mesmo assim o proprietário do double B informou que ira cobrar a diária!!!!! O double B não tem serviço de recepção e nem consideração com o hóspede que está com atraso no seu vôo. E o telefone móvel deles é desligado depois do horário comercial

Attenzione che i prezzi proposti "comprensivi di tasse e commissioni incluse" in realtà non comprendono le tasse di soggiorno e le pulizie che sono 10 euro al giorno per ogni persona! E se paghi con bancomat o carta di credito ti chiedono il 5% in più (ma è legale?). L'arredamento è fatiscente: i cassetti dell'armadio sono inutilizzabili perchè crollano, il mobiletto di plastica in bagno è rotto e con dei capelli dentro, il pulsante dello sciaquone rimane in mano così come anche un pezzo del bordo del piatto della doccia Il getto della doccia è scarsissimo e dal soffione esce un rivolo appena sufficiente per lavarsi, ma che fatica... L'aria condizionata è centralizzata e non si può regolare. E' in un seminterrato e non c'era linea per il cellulare (nè Tim nè Vodafone) e non prendeva neanche il loro wi-fi Il prezzo non è altissimo vista l'ottima posizione ma esagerato vista la qualità generale.

Wir kamen am 12.2.2015 um die Mittagszeit in Rom an. Die Zimmer waren sauber und sehr schick eingerichtet. Das Ein- und Auschecken verlief auch ohne weitere Probleme. Valerio und Maria sind sehr nette Gastgeber und auf Wunsch gibt es auch jeden Morgen ein Frühstück.

El hotel está muy bien ubicado cerca del coliseo romano (15 minutos a pie) y de una estación de metro. El hotel está recién remodelado y Maria, quien nos atendió fue muy amable. Si quieren pasar una corta estancia es perfecto!

The apartment is located on the basement. The room was neat and the staffs were nice. However, the mattress was not flat and the cleanness of quilt needed to be improved. WIFI in the room is really weak and not stable.

Il giusto compromesso qualità prezzo. Il B & B comodissimo alla fermata della Metro e alle fermate degli autobus, comunque a 10 minuti a piedi dal Colosseo e a 3 minuti da S.Giovanni a Laterano. La struttura non è un Grand Hotel ma è un ambiente ristrutturato accogliente e soprattutto pulito. Il personale, gentile e cordiale, è stato presente solo al mattino ma il tempo sufficiente per le esigenze che può avere un turista. Relativamente alla colazione era libera all'italiana con il pane fresco tutti i giorni, non c'erano torte o brioches ma per il resto c'era tutto (succhi e yogurt compresi) e più che sufficientemente, inoltre l'uso della cucina era libero 24 h su 24. (il caffè ce lo siamo bevuti anche alle 11 di sera). Per quanto ci riguarda lo consiglierei senza remore, fermorestando che stiamo parlando di un B&B

Super Lage, nettes Zimmer!
Das B&B ist im Keller, es gibt aber trotzdem Fenster zum Lüften. Die Einrichtung ist modern und sehr liebevoll, wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt! Die Zimmer sind sauber und es gibt einen Gemeinschaftsraum mit kleiner Küche. Hier kann man sich jederzeit Tee und Kaffee kochen und auch morgens das Frühstück zubereiten. Dazu gibt es Marmelade, Honig, Nutella, Joghurt, Zwieback, Saft und jeden morgen frische Brötchen. Die Ubahn ist in 5 min zu Fuß zu erreichen, für uns perfekt.

Hôtel correct dans l'ensemble, compte tenu du prix et de la proximité par rapport au centre ville. La chambre et la salle de bans sont propres, toutes les commodités sont fournies (draps, serviettes de bain ,sèche cheveux), petit déjeuner correct. Un gros bémol sur l'insonorisation de la chambre... On entend tous les bruits de la rue et en particulier le pain qui pétrit toute la nuit dans la boulangerie d'à côté... Prévoyez les boules quiès !!

Très bon séjour (3nuits) dans ce B&B. Très propre, personnel agréable, à proximité de tout. Seul petit bémol: les réservations par CB sur le site sont seulement des garanties, il faut prévoir la même somme en CASH à donner à l'arrivée. Ce qui n'est pas très rassurant, mais pas de débit supplémentaire sur le compte, juste un petit manque d'informations.. Très bon malgrés tout, ne pas hésiter, rapport qualité/prix excellent.

first of it is underground and the neibour is not the best you can find. although i did not expect much for the money i gave i was dissapointed as our room had a terrible smell coming from the bathroom...the room was ok but when get into a room that smells it all gone so we tried just coming to sleep..the stuff was quite friendly and helfull.the breakfast basic

Одно из лучших предложений за свои деньги. Хорошее расположение, 10 минут до всех главных центральных улиц. Чистый, удобный номер. Уборка раз в день. Шум с улицы есть, если вы берете номер с окнами на улицу. Но это беда почти всех отелей, Рим по уровню шума - один из самых шумных городов мира. Альтернатива - брать номер с окнами во внутренний двор. Один минус: как обычно звукоизоляция.

Hotel Double B en Roma, recomendable pero teniendo en cuenta ciertas precauciones!!!
Para comenzar, aclaremos que el Double B no es un hotel, sino un "Guest House", o sea habitaciones en una casa reciclada. Las habitaciones son lindas, impecables, limpias, amplias. La ubicacion muy buena (se puede ir caminando a Termini en 25', o tomar el Metro o cualquier bus a 200 mts del hotel). Idem al Coliseo. Wi-fi habia, pero no funcionaba (entiendo que tuvimos mala suerte y fue algo circunstancial) El unico tema a tener en cuenta es que NO HAY RECEPCION. Asegurense que la gente sabe a que hora llegaran para que les puedan abrir y no quedarse afuera 6 horas como nos paso a nosotros (llegamos a las 7.30 AM pensando que es un horario normal, de desayuno, pero el desayuno es self-service y no habia nadie!) En la puerta hay un numero de telefono al que pueden llamar, de Valerio el dueño, que es muy amable y atento, eso solo. Pero si llegan cansados del viaje imagino que querran, como nosotros, un toilet, un lugar para dejar las cosas, descansar un poco... En fin, el Double B es recomendable si se ponen en contacto con anticipacion (seria bueno que Expedia provea un mail de contacto) y tambien arreglan como van a pagar (no tienen tarjetas y Expedia toma la tarjeta como garantia, no como medio de pago, cosa que no aclara en ningun lugar). No esperen servicios de hotel. Es un lugar comodo y agradable para estar, con buena relacion calidad/precio, pero no esperen servicios de un 3 o 4 estrellas, obvio.
