Hotel itself was lovely, staff were excellent all seemed to be fluent English also. Breakfast was nice although wait for the waiter to offer coffee as the buffet coffee isn’t so good. 15 min walk to the Colosseum and another 20 mins to the Trevi fountain. There is metro stations close and hotel will call a taxi if needed but we walked everywhere easily enough, lots of places to eat close also.

Area outside was dirty. Washroom not very clean. Didn't refill the toilet paper, soap and water bottles.

I stayed at Hotel Saint John at the beginning and end of my trip. The hotel was quiet and in a nice area, with lots of transportation options. The staff was helpful.

I would rate my stay average. Room was tight like most European centers, that's alright. good bed. lack of power plugs near bed. But main problem's were really the clogged sink in the bathroom and the shower, that would pour really cold water for about 3 seconds each 40 seconds. Really unpleasant. Good staff. However, interphone to reception was always ringing busy. I complained and it kept happening anyway.

Loved that it was walking distance to the Colosseum. The staff was great. We got a welcome drink on the first day and their breakfast buffet was great. When my husband left his phone there by accident, the staff went above and beyond to help us get it shipped back to us - all the way from Rome to Florida, USA. We really are glad we stayed there.

This hotel is lacklustre for a 4 star hotel. The room is small and the bathroom is even worse. The shower was so tiny you can barely move. The toilet is directly across from the bidet and if you’re tall your knees touch it when you sit which is weird. I would not stay at this hotel again when I visit Rome

The building was convenient to public transportation and walkable to many attractions. The front desk staff did their very best in attempting to be helpful. The deluxe king room was an enormous disappointment as the temperature was unbearably warm and uncomfortable. The staff advised us to turn off all of the lights to cut down on heat emissions. The wi-fi inside the room did not connect so it was suggested that we sit in the lobby to work with our devices. Instead we moved all of our belongings to a junior double room without any staff assistance. Since we booked a deluxe king room and settled for a junior double room we felt that a price adjustment was appropriate. Unfortunately, this became a struggle with the front desk.

Fijn hotel met uitstekend ontbijtbuffet. Vlakbij metro en bus, ideaal om de stad te verkennen. Ligt naast een school, je hoor schreeuwende en spelende kinderen. Voor de een gezellig, voor de ander misschien wat minder.
