If you don’t mind stairs, this is a great option which is centrally located. The nearest metro station is Barberini (5 minute walk). Trevi Fountain is about a 10 minute walk. There is a mini market nearby and lots of little cafes and restaurants near the metro station. As a female solo traveler, I felt relatively safe in the area.
I was on the second floor and had 40 flights of stairs as there is no elevator, but I was well aware of this from previous reviews.
My room was clean and I absolutely loved the modern decor. It was spacious and came with a teapot, a sauna (which was interesting) and air conditioning that worked well. The Wi-Fi service was excellent too!
Dislikes : The bed framing showed some signs of wear and tear, but nothing major. There were no black out curtains, just sheer ones. The blanket cover was a little thin. There is a slight incline on the road leading to the accommodation which can make for a bit of a workout since it is located nearer to the end of the street. There is no 24 hour reception. This meant I had to do a self check-in because I arrived after 6pm. However, I had no major issues with this as the instructions provided were clear. l initially had trouble finding my designated room as the there are inner and outer suites, so maybe clearer instructions should be provided for this.
Overall, I had a pleasant stay here and highly recommend for those who travel light and are ok with stairs.
