Sehr Zentral aber desshalb auch sehr laut!

Posted Oct 22, 2016

Nice hotel close to Piazza Venezia.

Posted Oct 20, 2016
Pros: Front desk staff, quiet/spacious room.
Cons: Better service/lower prices in the rooftop restaurant/bar, walk-in shower instead of a bathtub, add a guest laundry room, and working TV channels.
Location: 10 min walk to Piazza Venezia and a 25 min walk to the Coliseum metro station. Many very good restaurants across the Ponte Palatino bridge.
Great front desk staff. Nice quiet room with two twin beds and great HVAC. Good buffet breakfast and selection of restaurants across Ponte Palatino in the Trastevere district. Nice view from the rooftop restaurant/bar but expensive to eat or drink. Not convenient if you want to take the metro directly from nearby the hotel.

Good combination of location and comfort

Posted Oct 16, 2016
Pros: Nice location, very helpful staff.
Location: Near the old ruins and a really cool neighborhood, Trastevere.
Selected this hotel based on its location - very close to Travestere, and the Roman ruins. The place is clean and rooms very comfortable. The staff is polite and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay!

Classy chic convenient and clean hotel

Posted Oct 16, 2016
Location: Very safe location and within close walking distance to just about every attraction and the beautiful Trastevere neighborhood.
First of all, this is not a typical hotel with large check in area but we were given very prompt and courteous attention by Stefania. The room was very large with big roomy closet and a safe, the king bed was really comfortable with crisp sheets, nice pillows and the perfect weight comforter. Bathroom was also large with great water pressure and nice hot water. The room had an electric metal curtain that you can use to totally darken the room. USB ports were great to have to charge electronics but a little hard to find on the TV stand. Nespresso coffee machine, hot water pot and stocked fridge with drinks was great to have. We never heard any noise except for the occasional car noise. Did not have a room with a view but that was not a big deal since there is so much to do outside. Breakfast was very nice with a really big selection of eggs, bacon, sausage, yummy pastries as well as a nice European selection of cold meats and cheeses. Cappuccinos, coffee and tea made for us too. We will definitely return here when in Rome.

Good Hotel.

Posted Oct 9, 2016
Pros: Good sized room and excellent courtyard.
Cons: Daily re-filling of the mini bar.
Location: Roman Forum was literally just around the corner. The 'hop-on' bus stop was just along the road .
Good hotel, good location. Near the major roman attractions and just across the river from an amazing choice of authentic dining experiences.

Good hotel in central Rome

Posted Oct 4, 2016
Pros: The staff are more than helpful.
Cons: Not much. It works well.
Location: The hotel is walking distance to the major sites in Rome. The Vatican is a bit of a stretch, but hey you're fit aren't you?
The restaurant is excellent but expensive, Everything else is at about 4* level and very pleasing. Try to get a room at the back as there is plenty of traffic in Rome!

Nice hotel--great location

Posted Sep 28, 2016
Pros: It's staff and location
Cons: Some of the room amenities could be better.
Location: Fantastic location. If you a good walker, you seldom need a cab.
The 47 Hotel is very nice. The rooms are small, and the hair dryers are ancient. However, everything is clean, well kept and the staff is amazingly helpful. The hotel is also within walking distance to the Roman Forum, the Vatican and Trastevere.
