Great breakfast, front desk staff were all polite and very helpful, room/bathroom were modern and clean, comfortable bed. Tv only has Italian stations so that was not great for Americans. Roku helped but only could play some Amazon prime shows. HBO Max, Hulu, Netflix, Paramount , Disney would not work. Glad we had it to be able to watch at least something at bedtime. If you stay in view of the front door of the hotel at night in lit areas you should be fine. Going too far down the dark street we saw a fight break out in a group of young men. A pickpocketer attempted to steal my fathers phone from his pocket but was too slow to get it. Be vigilant and use common sense and you will be fine. Great location if you want to use Termini to get around.

The Gioberti is a very nice hotel with an amazing location , one block from the train station. So of course the area is a bit noisy with some strange characters, but I always felt perfectly safe. Room was awesome, very big and roomy. Breakfast was OK. Had a Deluxe room and that was definitely worth it. Also the staff is very friendly, so was a bit surprised to see some people saying they were rude. They were always charming with me. I would come back in a heartbeat!

The location of the hotel is good, very near to the train station. Overall is good but the customer service is very bad. First I was told the lift is down and I informed the staff I am checking out at 6am the next day. I told them I need help to carry the 4 big luggages from level 5 if the lift is still broken. I am staying at level 5! There is no arrangement for me. They only know how to say "They is nothing I can do about it". I am so disappointed at the service level of a 4-star hotel.

We enjoyed this room. Great location, good price, nice breakfast. No frills hotel. One thing is we did book the executive room, and that was not really worth it given the extra sq footage is really just a room with one couch (no tv or anything)

We stayed for 4 nights and for the 3 out of the 4 nights there was no hot water to have a shower. Also the last night there was no water at all! The manager at reception said they cannot do anything at the moment and they would fix it the day after but apparently the situation continued for 3 nights which is unacceptable. This is definitely NOT a 4 star service. I would NOT recommend.
