Very Pleasant Hotel

Pros: The service of the staff and the neighborhood.
Cons: The milk in the cappuccino's could be hotter. :)
Location: The location was very nice. Close to all attractions but quiet and pretty. Tree lined block with beautiful hotels and restaurants.
We had a very pleasant stay in the Grand Hotel Palace. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and nicely decorated. The hotel bar/restaurant was very pretty and the food was tasty. We really liked the tree lined street we were on and the neighborhood was quiet yet convenient to all major attractions.

Restaurant outside very noisy with cars passing bye. I would say it's more of a business hotel rather than a hotel for a holiday One king size bedrooms are small but ok Bathroom good size

Got bumped out- no AC- handled with grace

Outstanding GM, couldn't have been more gracious, personally escorted us to another hotel, introduced us there, treated us to breakfast the next morning and was extremely kind! Sadly, this was our final stay in Italy and we were looking forward to experiencing this beautiful hotel. Next time!

Beautiful high level hotel in upmarket area

I loved this hotel. It was opposite the American Embassy. While close to the Spanish Steps (5-10 minutes walk) it felt well away from the tourists. You could imagine yourself as a stylish Roman living in a lovely central suburb. The foyer was fabulous and you were welcomed by the doorman every time. I stayed in the second rung up room (I think deluxe) and it was simply enormous, and stylishly fitted out with marble everywhere. Just up the street, was a fabulous coffee bar with lovely crostini where you could have a stand at the bar expresso.

Average hotel, not a 5 star

The hotel is well located however it is average. There is no coffee making facility in the room. The air conditioning was noisy. The toilet was scratched and marked. No bath, only a shower. Only BBC and CNN English channels. Coffee in the on site cafe costs 8 Euros. So whilst not luxurious it is comfortable and clean.

For Europe this hotel is good, staff very friendly, and location has good ubication. Really I recommend the hotel

Central in Rome

Hotel was clean, comfortable & staff was friendly. Wi-fi was down for 3 days which was a big concern for us as we had to download/print important tickets and we were unable to do so at the hotel.

Lo sentimos mucho por lo que occurrió durante su estancia. Hemos controlado el trabajo de los técnicos y he personalmente hablado con el equipo de la Manutención. Nos hemos dado cuenta de que en su caso la vista no estaba muy agradable debido a estos trabajos al exterior de la estructura. Como habia dicho Usted, el personal del Front Desk está siempre disponibile para enfrentar cualquier tipo de necesidad y si hubieramos tenido habitaciones disponibles, podríamos haber evitado que se llueve un recuerdo tan malo de nuestro hotel.
