Convenient to airport

Posted Apr 14, 2017
Pros: It is right at the airport and the room and bathroom are what you would expect.
Cons: Free internet with a high quality connection.
This stay reminded me of why I seldom stay at Hilton any more. They were much more concentrated on upselling than on making my stay comfortable. However, since this is the only game in town if you want to overnight at the airport, it is adequate for that purpose. The room was fine, as was the bathroom. I arrived at around 9:30 pm and there was a fairly long wait at check-in. I called down once the next morning to ask a question and gave up after spending many minutes on the phone listening to advertisements for various services I could purchase, without anyone actually answering my call. Finally, I have no patience for hotels that charge extra for internet these days; it should be standard. They might as well charge extra for toilet paper and the TV. There was free internet in the lobby only and I used it when I checked out in the morning. Unfortunately, t was such poor quality that it was more or less useless.

Adjoined to airport

Posted Apr 13, 2017
We booked a room here because we were flying out of Rome at 6:30 a.m. There is a sky bridge connecting the hotel to the airport. (Problem: that early in the morning many of the moving walkways were not on, thus making the walk very long.) everything was an extra charge. To use the t.v. - $23. To use the wifi- $20. Excited to finally have ice in my drink. The ice machine on our floor was either empty or not working. My husband had to go floor to floor to find some and then the bag in the ice bucket was too small, so a pain. No access to drinks other than in airport so walked over there to get a bottle of Coke to use with my priceless ice. Could go to a restaurant or order room service, I suppose, but wanted to relax in room. Took a shower and attempted to use their blow dryer. Couldn't get to work. Called for help, and waited as my hair dried on its own. Then was informed there was one special outlet for it outside the bathroom. No information in any room guidebook. Would assume they have visitors from all over the world next to an airport. The gentleman who assisted us was very kind. Did eat in the hotel cafe and was very good.

Way overpriced and not very nice

Posted Apr 12, 2017
Pros: It was in the airport.
Cons: Make the rooms more comfortable. Offer free wifi. Make sure the equipment in the rooms is in working order.
Location: It's in the airport. You can walk to the terminal.
The hotel provides a covered walkway to the airport terminal, but that convenience is the only reason to stay here. The cost of a room is apparently based on that convenience since they offer little else. When we checked in we were told that we were being offered a free upgrade. The upgraded room was on the executive floor, but the room itself had only one uncomfortable desk chair and one comfortable stuffed chair to sit in, although there was plenty of space to have two comfortable chairs. The television did not work. The hair dryer did not work. Wifi was free in the lobby but there was a $20 charge to have access to wifi in the room, something that had been free in every other hotel we stayed in while in Italy and something free on the trains in Italy. Don't stay here unless you have to be at the airport very early in the morning and don't want to take a cab.

Nice hotel adjacent to the Rome airport

Posted Apr 9, 2017
Pros: LOCATION - adjacent to airport & car rental return. This is the 2nd time we've stayed at this hotel.
Cons: Cost for wifi is quite high. Everywhere else we stayed in Italy (even at B&B's), wifi was free.
Our flight from Rome required us to be at the airport by 6:00 a.m. the following morning. Being able to check out and then walk directly into the airport with our bags was incredibly efficient! The staff at the front desk and in the bar/restaurant areas were pleasant and very helpful. The rooms were fine. We only ran into 2 problems in our room - the TV remote didn't work so we couldn't watch TV and the hot water kettle wouldn't work. We did not contact the front desk about either because we were only there overnight and it wasn't imperative. I told the front desk at check-out so they could get it rectified for the next guests using that room.

Dear Guest, thank you very much for posting your comments. I am glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay and particularly appreciated the pleasant and friendly attitude of the staff. I do apologize for the issues experienced with the TV remote controller and the kettle and I am sorry you did not report it to the team while in house in order to resolve and fix those issues. Thank you for letting us know at check out. I understand your concerns regarding the internet. However, free Wi-Fi connection is available in all hotel public areas for all guests. Additionally, free in-room Wi-Fi connection is available for all Hilton Honors members, subject to reservation terms and conditions. We really hope we will have the pleasure of welcoming you again in the future. Kind regards.

Very convenient but the kettle is dirty

Posted Apr 4, 2017
Very convenient but it's quite a long ten minute walk pushing the luggage cart from T 3. There is a free shuttle going to downtown which is convenient. However, I was surprised to find there are remnants in the kettle regardless of cleaning it. Also the restaurant for lunch isn't that good. Very salty

Difficult hotel to deal with

Posted Feb 28, 2017
Management staff was unwilling to make any additions or changes to our reservation. After they take your money, conveniently you can not get a hold of the management staff to make any changes. Sketchy.

Walking distance to FCO with free shuttle to Rome

I loved the convinience that it was close to the airport and having the shuttle to the city. The room was clean and the room service was the best! I would definitely stay there again.
