Nothing like the picture shown. The hotel staff was fine but the room wasn't very clean, old and so, so so small. very questionable bedspread.

Great location for sightseeing in Rome.

Posted Dec 20, 2016
Pros: The location is fantastic, and the area is safe.
Cons: A better functioning lift, some heat in the rooms in December.
Location: It's very close to the Trevi Fountain, Via del Corso, and it's easy to get around.
Hotel was really easy to find and we had no trouble finding our way from the airport. Just 2 stops from Termini and a few minutes from Barberini metro. We felt it was a very safe area with some nice bars and restaurants, also very close to the Trevi Fountain. It was also great being so close to the metro stop which made it easy to get to the Vatican and Colosseum. The hotel itself is quaint and old fashioned. The room was a good size and the bed was comfy, and the bathroom was good. Only negatives were that the room got very cold sometimes during late afternoon and the night, and the coffee at breakfast was a bit disappointing on some days. The breakfast was pretty standard - bread, eggs, pastries, and cakes - but we enjoyed it. Shame about the tepid coffee though! Also the lift broke on our last day so we had to walk up to the 4th floor.

Dear-Thanks for your feedback. Our stuff is prepared to give the best service we could offer-. The cold temperature maybe was just a lack of information for our heat system. Our system of heat can be controled directly from the guest with private system. I m sorry for the elevator,it was just a client that push not properly the door. After few miutes it was fixed. We hope to have you back as nice guest to show our new rooms. Thanks

Great welcoming staff, nice room!

Pros: This hotel is in the middle of Rome! It's very close to the Trevi Fountain, Altar of the Fatherland, high end shopping stores many fine restaurants!
Cons: The room where we were had the Air conditioning set on one level and it was loud.. Also, the breakfast could be improved with choices and fresh juices
Upon arrival to the hotel, my wife and I were greeted by HUGO, a very nice and professional gentleman!! HUGO exceeded our expectations! Not only he had the patience to help us book our room, he also offered options to make our stay more comfortable! Because of Hugo, my wife and I will make this hotel our home to stay at every time we visit Roma!:-) Thank you Hugo!!

We just finished a tour and picked this hotel to spend a few days with our daughter and her husband. The hotel is small (15 rooms on 5 floors). When we arrived for check in, we were told that there was a major problem on the floor we were to be using and they could not accommodate us. We were in a panic with luggage and no where to go. The man on duty was in contact with the property management and within a 1/2 hour had secured two rooms at the Hotel Regio at no additional cost. He even gave us 20 Euro to cover the taxi fare to get there. It was near the train and bus terminal so it was convenient for us to use both forms of transport. The Regio was comfortable and clean. After all of the anxiety, we actually had an enjoyable stay. The ratings shown are for the Hotel Regio.

Clean, comfortable, great location

Posted May 7, 2016
Pros: Staff is phenomonal. Especially the helpful and cheery main daytime desk clerk and the wonderful lady who prepared made to order coffee at breakfast.
Location: Perfect location. Walked to most Main sights, or 1-2 minute walk to metro if you want to ride.
Much Better than I expected for the reasonable price In a great location in Rome. Wonderful, helpful staff. Immaculately clean, very comfortable bed, quiet. Pretty little roof deck for fresh air & a sunny breakfast.
