Great location, clean updated hotel, friendly stafPosted Nov 12, 2015
Pros: Location, clean, friendly staff, breakfast, felt safe.
Location: Right next to Pantheon. Super central to most attractions and tons of restaurants/cafes nearby!
Staff and reception was very professional and helpful. They gave us a quick "map tour" of Rome and helped us to our room. You can't beat the location, close to everything. The room was clean and nice. Biggest bathroom we had in Italy! They give you vouchers for a breakfast across the street which was much better than the breakfasts we received at other B&B's. I would highly recommend!

Hotel AbruzziPosted Nov 9, 2015
Pros: Location; Cleanliness; Staff;
Location: This Hotel is at the Pantheon, one of the most beautiful and historical buildings of all time. The restaurants and supermarket are very close.
This Hotel is in the perfect location. Easily walkable to many of the sights and activities of importance. Not to mention that there are many, many options for restaurants, cafes, shopping and enjoying the company of friends. The Hotel staff were extremely friendly, courteous and helpful with questions, needs and direction.

Beware of online hotel picturesPosted Nov 8, 2015
Pros: location was close to pantheon
Cons: Update photos of what the rooms actually look like. They may have a few rooms that look updated, but there is quite a few number that are outdated.
Location: Pantheon is literally across from the hotel. There is a mini market close by and walking distance to other restaurants/sites/shopping
When we first got to the hotel, we were greeted fairly politely. When we got to the room, it did not look like the photos on their website. It was very deceiving since the photos looked very updated, white and clean. It was very outdated, wood in color and dirty. The staff response was, "We get that a lot." The photos they have next to their annex room on their website is very nice. When i asked for a new room, it was a farther walk from their main hotel. This was a big issue with wifi. It simply did not work due to the fact that they have a set of rooms in the building next to the main entrance. I would not stay here again. It felt dirty. The hotel states they offer toiletries, but my room had limited options. We were given shampoo, but no conditioner. Two shoe sponges, but no soap. When we walked over to the reception desk and asked for cups (which every hotel typically gives a set of two), they said they ran out. We left a sign on our door so that the staff would not come in, but they disregarded it and acknowledged that they disregarded it. When we asked for a recommendation on a good pizza joint, the man at the desk pointed to the closest one and said it was the best. It was not. Even yelp stated not. Don't take their recommendations. The location was good that it was right across from the pantheon. But, it also meant it was very noisy at all times of the day, late night and even early morning. Breakfast was included every morning which was a plus.

Great hotel with great location.Posted Nov 7, 2015
We weren't sure when we booked this hotel if we had chose a good location but needed a hotel to accommodate 3 people and wanted to avoid a pullout sofa. We stayed 3 nights and paid quite a bit more for the weekend night but were tired of searching hotels. As it turns out we couldn't have been happier with our choice. It was worth the money to be at such a great location and have very clean modern rooms. Staff was great and very helpful.

Pros: Location for attractions.
Cons: Sound proofing of rooms to cut out the noise from the streets below.
Location: Brilliantly placed for walking to all main tourist attractions. Massive choice of eateries within five minutes walk and for a variety of budgets.
Great sightseeing but not much sleep due to noise from the street, late night revellers and early morning refuse (glass) collections.

Can't get any closer to the Pantheon!Posted Sep 29, 2015
Pros: Location; breakfast; modern amenities
Location: Right in the middle of it all -- restaurants, Pantheon; can't do better.
The rooms are typically European -- small but have been redone -- new bathrooms and window treatments, etc.. Modern finishes. We did receive a 'view' room but it was right over the front entrance -- loud. With that said, the view was spectacular and the noise did abate by about 11pm. The window coverings helped a lot with noise. The included breakfast across the Piazza was great! Cappuccinos and full spread. Beautiful!

Fantastic gem in the heart of Rome!Posted Sep 28, 2015
Cons: There are a few questionable people hanging around the front of the hotel in the evening.
Location: Across from the Pantheon, close to Piazza Navona, walking distance from almost everything in the heart of Rome. There are great restaurants and shops
I cannot say enough about this hotel. First of all, the location is perfection. It is right in the midde of the Piazza della Rotunda facing the Pantheon, near lots of shops and restaurants, Piazza Navona, etc. Perfect. The hotel staff is very helpful...they stored our luggage until our room was ready, took our luggage to our room and brought it back down at check out time (the elevator starts on the 2nd floor), and provided us with a take out breakfast as we were leaving for the airport very early. Our room was absolutely spotless! There was plenty of closet space, a safe, a coffee maker, flat-screen tv, free wifi, an updated bathroom, and comfortable beds. This hotel is just a gem! We loved it.

Amazing location!Posted Sep 11, 2015
Pros: Nice updated rooms. Nice staff. Breakfast included. Fantastic location.
Cons: Wi-Fi seemed spotty when you went above the first floor lounge.
Location: Easy walking to everything - Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps. Even walked to Vatican and Colosseum for tours.
Hotel Abruzzi shares the same piazza/rotunda as the Pantheon. An amazing thing to open your windows and see the Pantheon right outside your door! Breakfast was provided at a hotel/restaurant on the same piazza so you could enjoy the view while eating also! Room was very nice and updated.
