I didn’t want to make a hustle and complain at the reception, just asked them politely to change the bedding and cover, I couldn’t remember when was the last time we had insects bite like this, everywhere

Hot Cold Shower, Deluxe in Italian means small!
Was given a small room for a deluxe, had to hold my breath as I walked around the room as the bed was close to the wall. water in the shower went hot cold hot cold hot cold. Although that sounds bad overall it was ok, will probably not stop there again though.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were very friendly snd professional. Metro stop was close by so was very easy to travel into the city centre.

We arrived at the hotel around 2 in the morning, unfortunately our flight was very late. So no other clients should have arrived after us, the Hotel was not full at all, but they assigned us a room at second floor facing the street, and despite the double glazed windows, we couldn't sleep properly due to the noise from the street. Breakfast was quite good, staff a bit in difficulty because not enough ( just 3 people ). Tube station Laurentina is just 500 metres far and very convenient to reach the city center.

Hotel is located across the street from Laurentina metro stop. It is also located outside Rome City Center closer to the aiport, so taxis were less expensive by Euro 8-10 when on the meter rather than using the standard Euro 48 fare for airport transfers to/from airport

Modernized, close to metro and bus station (centre easy and cheap to reach). No wardrobe, lod doors, very small fitness centre, always the same menu, very little good restaurants and shops in vicinity.

Pros: closeness to Metro; fruit and veggie stand; pharmacy, and cafe/restaurants. Breakfast very tasty. Although on a busy boulevard, very quiet at night. Enjoyable stay.

The hotel is about 7 miles southwest of the main parts of the city. But it is a short walk of 5 minutes to cross the street to get to the subway. $1.50 and 20 minutes and you are at the Colossum. The hotel was recently remodeled and is very modern. The room is large and bed comfortable. The negative is that their is no place to open our bags except on the floor. No shelf space or drawers to put your clothes even though the room is large enough. Although it calls its self "American Place" it is not American oriented. No coffee provided, and you can go next door and buy some. No night light in the very dark bathroom. And on hot October days, they turned off the air-conditioner. They said they do this the first week in October, so open the window (without screens).

Great hotel, a little outside the city but right on the main road. Clean lobby, (relatively spacious rooms) and clean all through! Parking available around back in gated area which was great. The one day it was full we had to park in the basement which is NOT easy to get into.

The property is modern and very clean. I personally don’t like carpets so the fact that the rooms are not carpeted is a plus for me. The staff is friendly and although is far from the city center, is very well connected via Metro or Bus. The amenities are ok, room was small and a bit tight. Worth it.

The hotel was a perfect location for me, but pretty far from tourist stuff. However, the Laurentina subway stop is just a couple blocks, and there's a taxi stand just outside. Two blocks away is a small market where I found milk, vegetables and wine. I kept them in my small fridge. The room was tiny, but great for my needs. The AC was freezing, in a good way. (Italy is not especially air conditioned). I caught up on English speaking news on the cable TV. There's no ice machine, but a busman from the restaurant gave me a bowl of ice. The WiFi worked well, but throttled me after I uploaded a few large files for work. There's no bar. The lobby is huge and gorgeous. The restaurant was hopping. Not enough power outlets in the lobby, but lots of USB ports in the room. The lights work only with one's key card. The balcony was a great benefit. I washed some things in the sink and hung them to dry in the hot sun. (And it had a great view.) I don't remember the last time I had balcony access in the states. Too many liability issues, I guess. I didn't hear any of my fellow guests, even though the hotel was full.

Good - but avoid rooms with only pull-out sofa bed
The hotel overall is good and good value for Rome. The area is well outside the centre, so bear this in mind. The only issue I had was that I was offered a room with only a pull out sofa bed (thin mattress, noisy springs). I asked for a change, only to be offered another room with a sofa bed. Third time lucky I got a room with a bed in it. I do think hotel rooms ought to have ordinary beds in them as a relatively basic requirement! The hotel was full, so I suspect someone else had to put up with this. So, this is something to check if booking this hotel. Otherwise it is fine.

Location is good for visiting Congress Center which is short walk away. If you are going into city center, you are better of walking to nearby Laurentina metro station, so you can get subway direct to coliseum. It is really cheap to do this €1.50 (instead of approx €30 for taxi)

Nicely revamped hotel and perfect if you are here for conferences - clean, functional, breakfast ok, and 10 minute walk to La Nuvola conference centre. Also only about 20 mins taxi from FCO airport. 2 points which let it down: 1. There is no iron /ironing board - not in your room, nor in the whole hotel. Bit of a problem if you are here on business and need to iron suits and dresses. Apparently, this is for health and safety reasons. Which is odd, as most other 4 Star hotels in the world have one. 2. I booked a "single" room, and the bed was a fold-out sofa bed. Fine if you have a child, but not really acceptable for a 4 * hotel as the main bed of the room. Although I suspect most double rooms will have a normal bed. I probably wouldn't stay here for a leisure trip due to the location, better to book one nearer the centre of Rome.

Clean, modern and new. Overall, great stay. Close to Metro. Free breakfast, but get there early...otherwise the coffee machines will be shut down and the staff will begin putting everything away...and even turning off the lights! The selection was really good, but would have like a cup of coffee.

When outside of Rome
Good distance to Rome center...rent a car! Hotel appears to have been recently remodeled, still working on what I believe will be a restaurant. Friendly staff, small, but clean comfortable room. Went for a coffee after 10:00 am, it wasn’t possible, the kitchen was closed. Fortunately very good cafes within a few minutes walk. The gym equipment, is probably from the 70’s. No free weights, the pieces of equipment were broken or operated poorly.

Not much see around the hotel, but the metro transit is only 2 blocks away and is easy to use, right on the subway line to the coliseum and central Rome. Room prices vary significantly based on dates.
