It was a very nice property, friendly and helpful staff and the breakfast was very good. Enjoyed our stay. Would recommend this hotel. Close to train station.

I have previously stayed at this hotel and was very pleased with my stay. Unfortunately this was not the case this time. We had requested a twin room because I was travelling with my 12 year old grandson, we were given a double room and told it would be sorted, it was not. This was very inconvenient. It was a very small room with hardly enough room to walk round the bed. One chair and no kettle. The facilities last time were much better and certainly a better quality room. Very disappointing. The hotel was clean and the breakfast excellent but I will not want to stay there again

I do not accept your review, as your booking has arrived with Jumbo an agency and not with expedia, in the booking you need a double bed not a twin bed, you must take it with the agency and not with the hotel that's why his reservation didn't appear at the beginning but it was there, he confused us with the agency

Very nice traditional hotel with good facilities. 10 mins way walk from Termini for railway and airport regular service. Also 10 mins from Piazza della Republica and Via National.

Very disappointing experience. Not one single word written in English, not one single international TV channel in all rooms. The shower has no curtain which means every time someone takes a shower, the floor turns into a small pool of water, becomes slippery and the chances are people have more chance to get hurt. Don’t even try their breakfast, they charge €12 per person, and it’s tasteless. Just wondering how this hotel got 4 stars? I will never go back there again.

Great location
Great place to stay. Very small room with very small shower. Clean hotel with clean rooms and AC. Very convenient location. Good free breakfast.

Major concern is cleanliness of the room. We’ve asked to change our room as toilet was terrible dirty with urine on the seat! Overall the room and bathroom was very dusty and dirty. We were checking in around midnight and didn’t have much choice. Otherwise we would leave to find a different hotel. The room was pretty cheap so you get what you pay for. Never again!

I read this review with amazement, talk about dirt and urine seems absurd does not fall at all in our hotel and does not mean that little pay you have this service, it seems strange that we had no complaints from you on your arrival, of course I speak with an anonymous but we did not have this serious complaint in the hotel that I would have said as a customer ..... so I do not know what to apologize for

The staff was very kind but the hotel is in terrible conditions the carpet was sticky and old the paper walls were dirty the bathdroom smelled terrible and the comforter of the bed was old also the room had a terrible smell they need to invest in the property a bit I mean I had trouble sleeping because of the room conditions.

Very nice hotel near Termini
Very nice/ clean hotel near Termini. We stay there for 4 days in Rome. 5 minutes walking distance to Termini and restaurants /grocery store nearby.

Avoid this hotel if you can !!
Plus point is the location, close to Termini Station. Rooms are terrible, at least the one we had. Staff members were indifferent to our request for a change in room. The room and showers were the tiniest we have ever seen. Air conditioning was terrible and the room did not cool down. Due to the poor attitude of staff we were hesitant to ask again for a change in room. Will never stay there again. If one is paying for a room in a hotel why not get some value for your money and stay comfortably.

Nice stay in a modern but with antique flair Hotel
Location was good too as it is just a five-minute walk from the massive Rome railway station (only make sure you take the RIGHT exit). I would not hesitate to book this hotel again when in Rome as everything from check in to check out went so smooth and had very good restful nights in a small but comfortable room with all the modern amenities (Good AirCon with climate control, in-room safe, Cable TV (ample international channels) and good WIFI. As many pointed out, bathroom is decent size (with a bidet) but the shower is surprisingly narrow (why?). Elevator is simply awesome (a museum piece of its own).

wont be back next year
i have stayed here several times and now the hotel is 'tired', in need of some redecorating room had ONE light, impossible to work only ONE outlet, had to charge computer in the bathroom! quick check in and check out, good breakfast but not the most comfortable hotel. beyond the hotels control: rest. next door is VERY noisy banging pots etc late in the evening.

Small dirty room but good location.
Room was very small, carpet had a large stain and shower very small. The room did not look at all like the picture on the booking site. It is way too small for 2 people - only room for 1 chair and little room for luggage. We asked for a different room even if we had to pay more, but to no avail. Would not stay here again. May be OK if only for 1 person.

Convenient, clean and friendly staff
The staff is so friendly and amicable. Check in and out was smooth. Room service is great. At check out, the lady ran after me to give me back my watch which I had forgotten in the room. Beside the hotel, there are grocery stores and cafes and it is a 5 min from Termini station which is very convenient. The room was clean and comfortable and fairly spacious in European standards.

An average 3 star hotel located very conveniently close to termini station and public transportation. For those who do not mind exploring Rome on foot it is possible to get to the main touristic attractions within half an hour. overall the room was clean but there was persistent unpleasant smell in the room and bathroom - may be a smell of 'oldness' - carpet and wall dressing did not look very fresh.

Very nice hotel with a convenient location in Rome
I stayed at the Hotel Andreotti from Saturday, April 23, through Thursday April 27. It is a very nice hotel, convenient to the Rome Termini train station. It was a less than 10 minute walk from Termini to the Hotel. Although the room was a little small, the lobby, sitting area downstairs, and interior of the hotel are all fine. The price was a nice bargain, I do not feel like I overpaid. I like to walk a lot - it was to me, 'only' a 30 minute walk to major tourist sites like the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, etc. It was an hour walk to the Vatican, through some very nice Roman streets. The hotel is fine, with a wonderful old fashioned elevator. A word of caution - I only took the Rome subway once - from Termini to the Vatican area, and the subway was VERY overcrowded, for a ride at about 9 a.m. If you have a fear of claustrophobia, do not ride the Rome subway in the morning on a week day!!! Overall, a very nice stay at a good hotel in the central / eastern part of Rome, but I do enjoy walking. The breakfast in the hotel was also very good.

Centrally located and good base for sightseeing
Quirky hotel within walking distance of the main railway terminal. Clean and comfortable with lovely staff. Breakfast plentiful enough to set you up for a day's sightseeing. Would stay here again if I return to Rome.

The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful and made our stay feel welcoming. We were barely in our room as we were mostly sightseeing, so we needed the hotel for a good nights sleep when we got back, which we did. The room is a little bit small but this was not an issue for our short break. The only issue we had was when we came for breakfast at 10:15 (closes at 10:30 but reception said it was fine for us to eat) and a staff from the breakfast area told us bluntly "tomorrow come earlier". Although this was understandable (even though we had had only 3hrs sleep the night before so needed a lie in!) the staff could have said this a lot more polite. Everyone else in the hotel were extremely friendly though and I'd still recommend this hotel.

Cosy Hotel close to Termini Station
The hotel has a nice feel to it & the breakfast was delicious. The room had all of that which one needs, including Wi Fi connection. The location is easy to find & close to the main train station in Rome. The staff were pleasant people.

The pictures look really good but the hotel was run down, there was on lift for the whole hotel which was broken for the most part, calling it a hotel is a bit of a joke more of a B&B. Breakfast is a waste of time.

Robbed While at Dinner
The room was very dark but what was worse is that we were robbed. Until we were robbed, the staff was great. While we were at dinner, someone went through our suitcases and stole our Kindles--not what you want to lose at the beginning of vacation! The breakfast was lovely but hardly compensated for losing all our books. At first, the staff was kind and helpful. They assured us that they had insurance for such losses. They would even go with us to the police station to file our report (in Rome, apparently, the police do not come to the scene). The manager on duty said that he would go with us to the station the next day. Sadly, no one came to the station with us. The manager who said he would help us sent a message he would be late but he didn't come in. No one at Hotel Andreotti helped us with translating--filling out a police report is a little more complex than asking where the bathroom is. How convenient for them because without a police report, like in the USA, their insurance won't pay the claim. When we returned to the hotel, since the police kept brushing us off, Hotel Andreotti told us they wouldn't help us file a report about thefts on their property from our locked room. They took no responsibility for helping us and even admitted that the thief could have been someone who worked there! We would never risk returning to Hotel Andreotti. It was a lovely breakfast but we have too bad a taste from being robbed.

Ok hotel in an ok area.
We stayed at this hotel for four nights from 5th October and overall for a three star hotel we liked it. We had a standard double room and it was more than adequate. We noted some of the concerns mentioned on reviews and made sure to take note when we arrived. The room was a decent size and the decor was blue and yellow as in one of the pictures. The room did not smell, bedding and towels were immaculate. Yes, the shower was a bit small but it worked and the water was hot. The room had a kettle and a fridge which we thought was good for a three star hotel. We have stayed in four star hotels which had no tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge was only available to hire. There were no tea bags/coffee/milk with the kettle (but we always take our own because we know what hotels provide are never the same) but we are sure the hotel would have provided them. The bar staff were more than happy to provide a jug of milk for us which went in to the fridge. Reception were very helpful. Breakfast was not brilliant but we didn't starve and we were not there for the food alone. If perfection is what you are looking for in all areas on a short break then you choose your hotel accordingly. For us it was absolutely fine. Would we stay there again for a short break? Yes we would.

Terrible wifi in room, bit of a(n uphill) walk from the 'better' sights/parts of town. Neighborhood somewhat 'run down'. Room a bit dark, therefore dreary, midday staff wasn't particularly friendly on some occasions. Appears it may have been a very nice, upscale hotel at some point in the past.
