Perfect location, just near by spanish steps and at the same time away from all the nosie. Easy reachable by taxi or metro. Surrounded by nice restaurants and bars and shops. The room was good, big plus for super nice and fluffy towels and bathrobes. It was also nice to recive personal welcome in note and a vip access gift. The only down side for the room was no large mirror and no hooks in the bathroom so once towels were used you had to use shower door. Service was nice.

Would definitely stay here again!
This is a lovely boutique hotel. Very close to the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. If you're a good navigator than walking to other sites around Rome from the hotel will be easy for you. The breakfast in the a.m. is a spread! The server in charge is very attentive. The staff at the front desk are very friendly and helpful.

A lovely hotel in a great location
A very enjoyable hotel stay at Hotel Art. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed (Nic on reception is a very friendly and helpful guy). Its stylish, and the rooms are comfortable. The location is great, so much to do nearby in easy walking distance, plenty of restaurants. Enjoy!

PERFECT location!!! My boyfriend and I stayed in three different hotels while traveling in Europe. This hotel was our absolute favorite. We walked everywhere and had the best time. We are so happy with our experience. The whole team made it feel like home. Every day we came back to a very clean room, new towels, and a bed made. Fabulous cleaning crew. The team at the front desk were professional, friendly, and so helpful. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re staying in Rome!

Difficult to get bags from the road into the hotel. Staff do not help. Tiny rooms that are difficult for two people to have suitcases and unpack in the room. Much better hotels out there for the price. Not sure who is leaving positive reviews here.

The hotel was in a great location. The rooms are small. Bathroom was small. There’s no street parking. The rock/pebble walkway to the entrance of the hotel was bad for our rolling luggage. It may have damaged our wheels

The hotel is within walking distance to the spanish steps, and other tourist attraction areas such as trevi fountain etc. there are many shopping and dining options in the area. The hotel staff is friendly and on one rainy night, they let us ordered take out and ate it in the hotel lobby/eating area, really appreciate it. The room is a little bit dated, there is only 1 usb charging in the entire room and it is not located near the bed. 1 of the electrical outlet literally popped out when i plugged in the adaptor and phone charger. The bathroom is exceptionally small, we had to squeeze ourselves between the sink and toilet to be able to sit on the toilet. And we are small built, so not sure how average european or american use the toilet. And since we are short, we had trouble reaching the towel rack on top of the toilet. It is located higher than other hotels we have been to. The walls are relatively thin too, u can hear when other rooms are running their expresso machine. The housekeeping is ok, relatively clean. They tend to clean around your belongings, not too concerned there since we were only there for 5 nights. There are inconsistencies on the amenities during refill eg sometimes they only gave 1 clean towel instead of 2, or no clean cups. The front desk is helpful and delivered when asked. Overall, the stay was good and location is awesome.

Federica and Laura at the Front Desk were fantastic and made us feel extremely welcome and appreciated and if I was rating solely for the service they provided I'd definitely be a 10. The location was the best (Margutta is the street reference in the "Roman Holiday" movie and very near to the Spanish Steps). The rooms were clean. The decor was pleasant and stylish. Overall very satisfied. But not perfect . The rooms were pretty small (probably common in Rome). There were some cracked tile walls. The shower was a bit "strange" - in that it wasn't fully enclosed and water tended to spray on the wood floor. The bathroom sink setup was also a bit "off" in that the way the faucet was laid out, it tended to splash out of the sink pretty easily. I think my biggest reservation was lack of a full time concierge and other amenities such as pool, etc... The amenities weren't a big deal - that is not what I was there for. But a concierge would have been helpful with the tour reservations etc.

The staff were delightful and the breakfast was outstanding. The room was clean but word of caution as they spray the fabrics(chair and curtains), with a powerful deodorizer and it’s actually sickening. We had to put a towel over the desk chair and put the curtains in the closet. The window was in the center of the building and was accessible from many other windows so we could not open it safely and sleep. It was an overwhelming smell. Also there is complete silence in the room which means we could hear others in the rooms around us. The a/c makes minimal sound and there are few plugs to plug in devices so we couldn’t put on a white noise/fan while trying to charge our devices. European plugs so don’t forget yours. But the hotel is beautiful and the staff were so kind.

The hotel needs a thorough cleaning - much dust around and under tables, bed, etc. Very noisy environment. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are modern, well-equipped and convenient. Staff is professional, cheerful and very helpful. Location is terrific - a short walk to the Spanish Steps, an easy walk to the Vatican and quite close to a large number of delightful bars, restaurants and world-class shopping. Dragging luggage up the hotel's long cobblestone entrance is awkward and unpleasant. In sum, we won't return.
