The hotel was very clean, bathroom seemed recently refurbished, and the reception staff provided great recommendations for the metro, breakfast and other dining options. Overall, a great stay, and of course very convenient access to Termini Station which was our main reason for booking. Be aware that the area itself is very dirty and unwelcoming but it's still an easy walk or metro from the hotel to the main attractions. The nearby San Lorenzo (~200m away) is great for a quiet, less touristy evening meal.

Terrible Time
The air conditioner was not working. We had to sleep with the windows open all night. It was so loud, like we were sleeping on a busy street corner. It was so hot, like a sauna. The hotel refused to offer any amount off of our stay for the inconvenience. Terrible experience. Don’t stay here.

If you are going to make a late check-in the neighborhood feels insecure, so ensure to contact the hotel to obtain your id code to access the property.

Decent place in proximity of Termini station
I only stayed overnight - I came when it was already dark and left when it was still dark. Convenient location, less than 10min walk from Termini, yet in a quiet street. The room was fine, bathroom in good shape, all clean. No complaints, but my stay wasn't long enough for any deeper insights.

Friendly staff, average neighborhood.
The hotel was fine for what we needed. The staff was very friendly and offered suggestions on how to best get around. The neighborhood leaves a bit to be desired and there is construction going on right around the corner during the night.

Dear guest, thank you for the review. Our staff has natural aptitude for socialize. They're coming from various backgound where they developed it. Neighborhood is always ready to assist tourists about any need. We apologize about the construction near the hotel will not take long time to finish. It's the famous theater Ambra Giovinelli. The first theater where started career our actor Totò between 1919 and 1920. We're waiting for your next come to see Hotel Caracciolo improved.

It was very good. The recepcionist was very gentle and helpful. The room was exactly the same as the photos published. The breakfast was very good! The location is not so good, there are a lot of inmigrants and is not so nice. 20 minutes walking to the Coliseo, and 35/40 minutes to the area of the fontana di trevi

All good about the hotel except the location a bit far from Termini, not many good restaurants around the hotel except this Chinese which is directly across the road from Termini station.

Basic but does the job ..
The service from all the staff is great, approx 15 minute walk from the station. The hotel overall isn't the best unfortunately, we had no hot water throughout our stay and the bathroom had no real shower booth or bath, unsure if it was for a disabled person which would make sense but neither of us were, so that's a little weird ! Breakfast is basic but kills your hunger which is the main thing. Truly is rated correctly.

Friendly staff. Quick check-in. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk from the Roma Termini. Neighbourhood not the greatest but the hotel is safe and clean. Our room was a decent size. Washroom needs some work. Toilet was high. My feet couldn’t touch the floor... awkward. Decent hotel for our quick stay before heading to the airport.

So friendly and super accessible!
My mum and I had a fantastic stay here. The staff were so friendly and recommended places for us to visit and gave excellent directions. The food was nice for breakfast especially as my mum is gluten free and although we didn't tell them she was still able to eat plenty. It was fairly close to all the sites, it was 5 minutes from termini, the Metro station and a bus which would take you to all the major sites within minutes, and I hear you could walk it in 25 minutes anyway. There was a member of staff on reception at all times so they had no problem with us checking in a little later or when we returned to the hotel past midnight from our escapades! I loved my stay here and would definitely come back/ recommend to all.

Nice hotel close to Roma Termani
The hotel is conveniently located although the area surrounding the station is not great. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room had a fridge and air conditioning which was great as the weather was hot. The bathroom had been recently renovated and was very nice. Breakfast was nice with good coffee.

Nice hotel close to the train station and coloseum
Really enjoyed staying here as it was incredibly close (10-15 min walk) from train station and a 20 minute walk away from the coliseum, ideal as we were only staying one night and had an early train to catch. Staff were very accommodating and made sure we still were able to get some breakfast at 5am before catching our train. Overall better than expected experience and the price you pay is incredibly cheap compared to other hotels in the area.

Brilliant budget hotel.
The staff were amazing. They were very helpful, polite and courteous. The room and ensuite were clean, adequately furnished and comfortable. The breakfast selection was good and the service staff excellent. The location for exploring Rome was 1st class. Because it is on a main route for traffic there was some street noise, but if you closed the window it was quiet. Thank you for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Near the Termini which was useful. Staff were pleasant and accommodating. Beds were very firm and uncomfortable, needed black out curtains as the street light disturbed sleep. Breakfast was good. Probably wouldn't return but not bad value for money.

The hotel is very close to the Termini station.
The area around the hotel is quite run down but the inside of the hotel is ok! The double room that we have is quite small but the bathroom is updated. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good!

Good choice for affordable travel
If you are looking for an affordable place to stay this is your place. It is the main train station termini where you will arrive from the bus from the airport . Or take the trenitalia to go to the other place in italy. It was a 15 min walk to the coloseum. The staff were super friendly and informative the rooms were a good size and a little on the older style . You don't want to arrive to the hotel after 10 pm . The area at night is a little ghetto but it's safe during the day. The breakfast is basic . It all depends on your purpose for a good price it's manageable.

The Hotel was good value for money.
Arrived late at the hotel (2am) but there was no issue checking in. The room was air conditioned and comfortable. It looked as if it had recently been redecorated. The furniture was a bit tatty but served the purpose. Breakfast was OK. Service was friendly. The local area left a lot to be desired. Very close to main station though. Good access for main attractions, about 30min walk on average. All the staff were pleasent and helpful and spoke good English (significantly better than my Italien) The Hotel was good value for money. Overall it was a good stay.
