Room was really small, outdated and basic. Javing said that, you get what you pay for. Worst thing was shower; it was tiny. I barely fitted in to shower myself. Room was directly behind reception so it was loud at night when staff/guest were talking.

Avoid this hotel if you can, If you can push up a bit more your budget, get something better. If not, don’t expect nice staff and stuff, don’t expect a nice shower or toilet.

It was really nice hotel the only thing is the older gentleman at the reception desk around late evening was just extremely aggressive as he knew me and I’ve done something to him. But yeah aside that great stay with good breakfast.

Friendly clean Rome city hotel with parking
Excellent location close enough to walk to main tourist sites but with parking (huge plus!) Extremely helpful reception desk and on the right side of city for Rome Fiumicino airport. Very clean, friendly and has a bar for a cool drink after a long walk

Great location, you get what you paid for
Great location of the hotel, we walked to Colosseum, few shops and restaurants around. Hotel was clean but very tired looking, which reflected the price. Front desk staff was pleasant, but I find restaurant staff not welcoming at all.

Investment needed
Hotel is in desperate need of cleaning and renovation. General communal areas were poor; carpets stained and with chewing gum marks, wallpaper pealing in several areas, panelling in dining area in need of repair, lifts were vandalised with graffiti and obscenities scratched into them and there was a general damp smell about the place. Room size was good, but bathroom had limescale and mould. The hotel is in a good location and offered so much, but it’s in need of serious love.

This stay was awful. The staff was extremely rude. One staff member was facetiming with someone while I was standing there waiting for assistance. He didn't bother to acknowledge me. The air conditioning in the room did not work and it was a hot day/night. There's dust everywhere. I woke up in the morning with a super dry throat. Do not book here.

Hotel Cilicia a hidden gem !
I have been staying here for the last twenty years or so when I am visiting Rome. The rooms are very clean, comfortable. The staff is very very friendly and very accommodating. The breakfast is very good with a choice of a number of juices, fruits, cereals and pastries as well as a choice of luncheon meats and various cheese selections. The bar has a varied sort of wines , liqueurs, liquor and beer which are moderately priced. I will definitely return !

Very clean. Friendly helpful staff. Ordered a room with one double and one single bed but instead of the expected two full beds got one normal double and one extra, cramped into a tiny space clearly not meant for the bed. Breakfast was the same every day, with no vegetables. Bland selection.

Was soo great being centrally locates with an area to park the car for free. Also really likes being close to gardens too. Was a bit tricky to navigate the public transport from the hotel as you have to purchase a metro ticket before getting on a bus and none of the Tabacci were open or selling tickets so was a trek to get to the station. Otherwise no real complaints.

The hotel room was great. Clean and comfortable. Staff was amazing, just lovely. Breakfast was not worth it for me but was typical of continental breakfasts and was only 4 euros.

Great hotel for the price Friendly helpful staff The hotel is about a mile out of the town centre Very quiet and good local cafe bars not expensive Public transport easy to use.

Chose the hotel due to the location. My son is 3 apartments away for a study abroad. The location for tourist is a little far out from any public transportation. Breakfast was included and tasted very good with a nice variety. The staff was helpful with restaurant choices and taxi service needs.
