We had a great stay, check in was easy, we arrived early but the room was ready. Room was clean, bed super comfortable, bathroom spotless and towels were nice too. Breakfast was good, enough to start the day. Dunia was always friendly and helpful. Location is good, we walked all over Rome from there. We definitely would stay there again.

Could not fault the ladies at breakfast - gave us a little chocolate egg each morning to celebrate Easter. Clean room and brilliant location.

We had a delightful stay at this hotel. All the staff were so nice and very helpful. we would defiantly recommend it to friends who may wish to visit Rome. The breakfast was excellent and again the staff there were attentive but not over so. Most enjoyable stay.

The staff was amazing. Donda realized it was my daughter's birthday and brought champagne for us to toast her at 11pm! I have never felt more welcome while traveling.

The staff were very freindly and helpful. The accommodation is in an excellent spot. Having 24 hour front desk open was brilliant. Also lots of eating places near by, along with public transport very near by. The beds in the room were so comfortable and there was a great range of food for breakfast. We were able to leave our bags at reception at no extra cost once we had checked out which was a great time of 12 noon.

Excellent friendly hotel
Superb, friendly hotel. Well positioned close to centre and attractions but far enough out to be quieter. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet is excellent.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was basic. Cereals, orange or berry juice. Yoghurts (not chilled) milk (not chilled). Tray of scrambled eggs - couple of prebought pastries some meats and cheese. Coffee was good. We booked a superior room - all I can say is the size of the room is superior. The bathroom must date back to the 1970's - only a shower tap like head over the bath with shower curtain over bath followd by a curtain made of towels.

The staff is truly what makes this place great. They were helpful and friendly. To everyone at the front desk on the ground floor to the breakfast and bar staff on the 5th floor, thank you so much! The breakfast buffet was fantastic. We truly enjoyed the food and coffee. The location was very convenient and a nice walk to most major attractions. It's also a short walk to the Metro station to get to the Vatican. Nerone, our favorite restaurant is only a few doors down. And our favorite Gelato shop is just around the corner. Great Location!

The staff at this hotel are fantastic! So helpful, offered great info to help us navigate Rome. The room was clean, cool and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again. Great location too!

The hotel is nice and has very antiquey look from inside. It is located in a great place. Staff is friendly and available all the time. Breakfast is good. The only thing is that the bathroom could have been much tidier for the price paid.

Very good area. Heart of the city. They can get you a taxi but you have to let them know in advance. Best thing was riding around in the lime scooter (be careful though) hotel was in a very convenient location. Family run. Staff was nice.

The staff especially Aurora and Dounia were pearls. Location,location was great ,breakfast was excellent.the hotel was quiet and clean. Only thing is the wifi was not reliable .Great hotel if you want to be close to restaurants and landmarks.

As always, Hotel Columbia is my favorite place in Rome. The location is central and easy. The staff are so very helpful and welcoming.

Hotel Columbia was an awesome hotel to stay at in Rome. It was close to the metro station, close to restaurants, and walkable to all main sites in Rome. The staff was excellent and our room was ready when we arrived in the morning from the US. The restaurant upstairs was especially nice for breakfast in the morning. Very quiet and beautiful.

Hotel Columbia is the perfect hotel for anyone who wants a clean and quality serviced stay. The area is perfect for tourists with dozens of options for dining and shopping plus transportation with the Termini and Republic only a few blocks away. Not only is the breakfast good but the staff there are super helpful and kind. We thank the lady in charge in the kitchen and the receptionists for all their help and service. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful stay!
We spent a day beginning our trip and ending it at the Columbia. We couldn’t ask for a better stay! Allowed us an early check in which was sooo nice. Staff are all wonderful, generous across the board. Beautiful breakfast patio and super sweet woman helping. Great location close to trains and all attractions- very safe neighborhood. Rooms are traditional, clean and comfortable. Book your stay!

The staff and service were fantastic - they helped with transportation, recommendations, everything we asked about. The breakfast buffet was diverse and delicious. Our room was kept very clean. The hotel is surrounded by eating options and is a 5 minute walk from the main train terminal. We had only a single complaint - the AC couldn't quite keep up with August heat and the room was sometimes too warm, but we chose to come to Rome in August. We would stay here again without reservation.
