Great hotel close to Roma Termini.

Posted Jul 12, 2017
Pros: Very quiet, nice roof garden bar and dining area.
Hotel Diana is a very comfortable, quiet hotel in a good location close to the underground and main train station.

Rome experience

Posted Jul 4, 2017
Cons: The only thing that could be improved on is the elevators as there was only one that went to the lobby and it was not clearly marked
Location: Location was good & close to hop-on-hop-off bus
The older hotel was very nice, clean with an awesome upstairs garden for breakfast lunch dinner & cocktails The food was excellent quality and the staff were very pleasant efficient & helpful The buffet breakfast was also of excellent quality with a variety of tasty breakfast items They gave us an early check-in which really helped as we only had one day to see all the sights in Rome We would definitely stay there again! Excellent!

Close to train station

Posted Jun 5, 2017
Pros: Location
Location: The location was in easy walking distance to the train station, which was the reason for our stay.
Overall, I guess I shouldn't have expected much more than what we got. The main point was to stay near the train station to catch an early train to the airport, and it did its job. The location was great for us, but we didn't spend much time in the surrounding area. The room we had was in the corner and was very small, not leaving much room to walk around with two large suitcases. When we walked in, the air conditioning was broken and it smelled of smoke. They did send someone up to work on the A/C within a few minutes after calling down They were able to get it going, so that was nice. The room also indicated 1 double bed. It was actually two separate twin beds, with separate sheets, pushed together. We could have requested a different room, but at the end of the trip we were simply looking for a place to sleep. At the end of the day, if you're looking for a place to lay your head and don't intend on spending much time at the hotel or in your room, it's an acceptable option.

Excelent hotel

Posted May 6, 2017
The hotel decoration reminds me France during Luis XIV or Luis XV, the breakfast is the best experience I had in hotels in Europe, the staff really professional and attentative, the location is the only limited situation even though it is close to one main zvenue but taxis are available and cheap.

Great location.

Posted Apr 15, 2017
Nice hotel for the price in very convenient location to major landmarks. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Furnishings were dated but acceptable, especially considering the price. We had room 329. Excessive street noise on that side of hotel. Discussed with staff and they agreed. Ask for a room on the front of hotel. Mattresses need to be updated. Good free breakfast.

Marathon weekend stay

Posted Apr 8, 2017
I stayed at the same hotel for last year's marathon. This time I had an inner room with no view & very little natural light. The room had been modernised which was not to my taste. I much preferred the previous years front street room with traditional wooden furniture. I must be getting old! Roof top barman and staff all excellent again.

Hotel and staff were good and staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms not luxurious but clean, functional and comfortable. Nice touch was giving few free drinks and nibbles in fridge.
