Great hotel, wonderful staff
Great hotel, great value for money, helpful and friendly staff. Located around a 20 minute walk to many of the main attractions or there is a metro station a couple of minutes away that will get you to the sights quickly and cheaply. Room was comfortable, clean and well equipped. We used this as a base for a family trip to explore Rome, worth every penny.

The customer service was brilliant with helpful staff who spoke excellent English. Matteo was very kind and helpful to us on our arrival. Our Suite held two double sofa beds in the lounge (for our two teenage sons) and a separate bedroom for the two of us. There was a kitchen area with sink, fridge, kettle, plastic spoons, lots of storage area and the continental breakfast was in the room and included in the price. There were more facilities in the kitchen, however no saucepans or bowls, plates, utensils or cutlery provided. We asked for bowls and these were provided, however saucepans may be pushing it!. We bought cereal from the nearby grocery shop and made breakfast ourselves, and then ate out each day. The room had a very nice kitchen area so not sure why the utensils etc. were not provided. I would highly rate this hotel, it was excellent value for money, I kept thinking I had only booked one night (as the price was so reasonable), however it was the correct price for the four of us for three nights!) It was within walking distance to the underground and very near some lovely restaurants for an evening meal after a sightseeing day out.

Fantastic location and excellent experience!! Located near a market to pick up groceries on the way back from each day's activities. The metro is close as well and we enjoyed using this form of transportation on our stay! Great place! Clean, quiet and perfect for our family of 4. It had a wonderful kitchenette and two rooms. We also enjoyed Gran Sasso, a family owned restaurant that is just around the corner.

Good stay in Rome
Our stay was good. Check in was a breeze. Hotel staff were all very helpful. Room was clean and quite big. Beds are not very comfortable though. They should be changed out! Hotel is also situated very close to the subway so it is very convenient to get to all the main attractions.

Staff were excellent, the girl on the desk was very informative and helpful on check-in likewise the other staff members during our stay. Suite was great, having a dressing room, bedroom, kitchen, main sitting room and bathroom with bath over bath, good shower, bidet, toilet and sink. Excellent storage throughout. Internet not so good but the staff did advise us that they were with a new ISP, beds not great. We were supposed to have an iron in the room but it wasn't there but as soon as we asked about it, it was provided. Couple of minutes walk from the Metro (Policlinico) which was 2 stops away from Termini with quick and easy access around Rome. Would definitely consider using again should we decide to come back to Rome

Fab location, just a few minutes walk from policlinico metro station so really easy access to the main sights. Location is friendly and safe, a bit quiter for those who want to get out of the busy part of the city, but still had plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants . Staff were excellent and friendly 24 hours a day. The suite was huge and spacious, excellent value for money.

Nice quiet location prefect for relaxing stay. Transportation and restaurants are within reach. The room we were in is comfortable but not as clean. There were dirty marks on the bed headboard and some part of the wall, but the bed was very comfortable. We are not too fuss as we were comfortable but for some other people may mind.

Great location and the staff are so so lovely but our room was a bit disappointing. Our mini fridge was broken so all the stuff inside was boiling and we couldn't store anything. Our toilet was consistently running which we had to close the bathroom door to so it didn't keep us awake and the shower didn't drain so it flooded every time you took a shower plus our TV didn't turn off 100% unless we pulled the plug right out of the wall. For the price we paid we just dealt with it but I wouldn't stay again just due to the fact you couldn't really fully relax there. Great pricing and good location though so if you're only staying a night or two then it wouldn't affect you too much.

This hotel is v.good the rooms are big and comfortable , the room contains small kitchen and a wide bathroom its like a studio , the only matter is that the breakfast is just not great you will have it on your room kitchen .

We were very excited upon our arrival to our room. We unpacked our bags and set out for a touring day in Rome. We returned to our room tired and ready to crash. Crawling on the top of our bed was a bedbug, my husband moved the mattress and found another alive and crawling. I took one of the bugs to reception and much to my horror, they choose to try to dismiss my claim. " windows open, bugs come in", " no other room available". I persisted and finally one of the guys followed me to my room and discovered a bug crawling across the bed. Finally agreed to move us to another room with no offer to help with our bags or anything! He did go ahead and turned in the lights to the room we were moving to. Honestly, the rooms are great, customer service was horrible, couldnt believe that they tried to make me stay in the room and tried to tell me the bugs came in through the window. I told them to Google bedbugs to see what was in my hand, then they moved. Never experienced that kind of treatment from the "hospitality industry " before.

Dear Guest, we are really sorry for the incident. As shown by previous reviews, the cleanliness and care of the rooms are our priority. Unfortunately, we did not notice the presence of this insect, most likely the contamination will have happened through some baggage or contaminated things, of which we were all unaware. And he notices it only when they appear. We absolutely want to clarify that we have immediately proceeded to adequate resolution of the problem, as our absolute priority. We always try to do our best, therefore, we are very sorry when these situations occur that are not entirely predictable against our will. The guy answered that it wasn't a bug, because it was the first time that was happened in our hotel. Besides we were full booked, but fortunately there was a no-show, and we could give you another room. I hope you can understand. Best regards

Nice room but maybe mosquitos.
This hotel has only one problem and that is mosquitos. After battling mosquitos one night with multiple bites, we asked that the staff spray for mosquitos. I don't know if they did, but the cleaners left the bathroom window open that allowed about ten more back in. We killed five before gong to bed, but there were plenty left to buzz us all night and bite. Otherwise, this is a great hotel. The location is wonderful, near the metro stop only two away from Termini. On the way to the metro station in the morning is a fantastic coffee shop with great pastry. The owner did offer us an upgrade for the last night, but we turned it down thinking the mosquito problem was fixed. This problem may have been limited to our room because of no screen on the window. Clean and comfortable bed with sheets that were just a few inches short in the lateral direction. I would stay here again if the owner promised a refund if there were mosquitos.

We greatly enjoyed this location. Very accommodating for a family of 4 with young children. Our room was very clean and quiet and had a separate room for the kids to sleep on a pull out bed and a fold out crib (by request). The price was reasonable and we would stay here again. The location was not too far from the coliseum.

First day we reached the hotel very late due to delayed flight the staff was amazing and welcoming. The rest of the staffs were ok but not brilliant as the first day staff. Family room had 2 sofa bed and main bed. Main bed. Children had some kind of bites when they woke up. That was only disappointing part. The rest of the experience was fine.

Nice hotel, not in city center, but close to shopping and restaurants. They claimed more than they really offered. The a/c worked great and the room was clean. All the staff except one was nice and helpful. Overall, I would recommend it, but do not expect all the amenities advertised.

Hotel was near public transportation which made it easy for first-timers to navigate through the city. All staff were helpful and accommodating - very friendly and welcoming. Staff spoke English and helped navigate the city as well as provide recommendations. WiFi was pretty bad but the room and rest of the hotel was very clean.

Very comfortable room and the staff were outstanding: cheerful, friendly and always ready to help with whatever our request. Initially, Rome can appear overwhelming to a newcomer, but our introduction was eased by the ever helpful staff who made great & practical suggestions to our sightseeing experience. The hotel is located in a lovely suburb, with local restaurants that are targetting locals, not only tourists. Great, authentic environment. We were enjoying our stay so much that we extended our stay and will come back again in future. Certainly will recommend to our family & friends.

Alejandro was great! Close to everything!
We were close to the metro and a couple stops away from the Colosseum in one direction and Vatican and Trevi Fountain in the other. Hotel was small. Alejandro was great! Very helpful! His suggestions saved us money on trains! The other man, not so much, but pleasant enough. Loren of restaurants and stores within walking distance.

Nice hotel at a great price point
I wasn’t expecting too much for this Rome hotel since the cost was below €100 per night, but I was pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious, clean and had beautiful wood cabinetry. The breakfast buffet had a nice variety of delicious foods. The rooftop bar offered a quiet place for moon gazing during the evenings. The location was outside of the city center, but it was close to the Metro and this provided us a chance to experience life as a Rome citizen which was a treat.

Surprisingly wonderful choice
I'm from Los Angeles and with my Bulgarian wife. We had the Family Room at a great rate and couldn't have been more pleased. Absolutely nothing to complain about and most definitely I would take this room again. It's in a very quiet neighborhood with a couple of wonderful restaurants, one of them upscale and the other, a friendly family restaurant and the best pizza. The subways is only 400 meters away and 2 stops to the main train station where you can transfer to another line that takes you to the Vatican or stay on the same line which goes two the Colosseum only another 2 stops away. There's a quiet furnished terrace on the rood for early morning or evening relaxing which overlooks the surrounding area. Honestly we felt we were in more of a 4 Star than a 3. There is a bedroom with large queen size bed and plenty of pillows of all different styles and a very nicely appointed, living room with an alcove with sink, refrigerator etc. All the shuttered windows have a view, albeit limited, to open up your space. The staff was very friendly and helpful and always available for our needs. You can't go wrong with this room. Spend a hectic day at all the sites, as we did and come back to a very relaxing home away from home.

I loved the Hotel, the staff very helpfull, Alejandro helped us a lot on the day we arrived, also the guy from Guatemala, fotgot his name. Room very clean upated but on 10 days I stood there, towels didn't get changed. Location nice, easy to get the subway In general , I will stay again.

Very pleasant suite. We really appreciated the extra room. Very nice wood and marble. We only spent one night on the roof because we were so tired from exploring each day, but that was a pleasant space as well. Nice safe clean neighborhood not far from the metro station and only four metro stops from the Colosseum. The staff was wonderful!

Nice hotel. Well worth the money in Rome which is fairly expensive. About three blocks from the metro. Liked the old school decor and it has a separate room for bedroom, like a one a bedroom apt., has fridge and pull out sofa bed and a whirlpool tub.Climate control in room worked very well. Housekeeping was excellent , even put plastic case around my toothbrush. Nice touch.

I was looking for a moderately priced hotel close to the metro and the train station and found Hotel Dock to be a great choice! The hotel is set in a tranquil neighborhood away from the crowds and the craziness. The metro is three blocks away and nearby there's a supermarket, a couple of cafés and restaurants. The room is quite interesting, super spacious and full of amenities and luxury finishes. Would return!
