Stayed here a number of times for personal and business trips to Rome. Small friendly hotel, close proximity to all major historical venues of Rome. Perfect spot to get a quiet nights sleep in Rome.

We stayed at Hotel Fiume for two weeks and the staff was always polite and welcoming. Breakfast was good, but could use more variety offerings. Our room, triple room was comfortable, clean and spacious enough for two people with an in room safe. The hotel is in a nice neighborhood 15 minutes away from Termini station and 20 minutes by car from the Trevi Fountain. We used uber to commute, but I believe there is a metro station nearby. Also there are little stores around the hotel and small little restaurants. Overall, this hotel was very good and we would like to send compliments to the front desk staff, cleaning personell, breakfast waiters and all the staff from Hotel Fiume for making our stay enjoyable.

The hotel is actually more close to a 2 star hotel, the carpet in the hall was extremely old and dirty, there were hair and stains in the shower.

Dear Mr Vladimir, we are sorry and surprised about your feedback because the Hotel has been recently renovated and we decided to use a fine mosaic Carrara marble floor in the hall without carpet. We daily control and sanitize our rooms and hotel’s areas all over. We are totally at your disposal and please feel free to contact us in order to give us more information about your stay. Best Regards.

Pros: Very clean
Cons: Size of rooms and air conditioner
Location: Needed to take cab everywhere
This hotel was very clean. Very small. Shower would not accommodate a very large person. Hotel is really not very centrally located! But area is very nice, wonderful restaurant right around the corner. We went in oct. Weather was beautiful the room was warm but they had all ready turned Airconditioner for the season!

Lovely modern hotel with friendly helpful staff. We arrived late and reception phoned a local restaurant to arrange dinner for us. Also requested a balcony which we provided. Would recommend to anyone visiting Rome

Nice spot outside the crowds of the tourist area

Pros: Breakfast
Cons: Soundproofing is not good
Location: Try Checco and Lina for Dinner nearby
This hotel is in a great spot if you don't like to be right in the middle of the crowds. It is still walk-able to all of the sights within 45 minutes to the furthest and 5 mins from the Borghese Gallery. Closest metro stop is about 10 mins walk. In the evening, there are great little restaurants close by where the food is awesome at a reasonable price. The main positive for this hotel is the breakfast which is better than most and was a nice surprise. The room itself if quite nice for a mid-range hotel and is small like most European hotels. The AC worked and the room was clean. Housekeeping couldn't be faulted and they gave us a 30 Euro credit for the bar or mini bar that we used if for the minibar which basically made it a free. The biggest downside for this hotel is the soundproofing as mentioned in other reviews. If you are a light sleeper this will bother you as you can hear the plumbing, coughing and tv sounds of other rooms. That said, its not geared toward really young people so which we were there the other guests were respectful and quiet. Most other travelers were couples or business people and a few families. This was a solid stay and I would choose this hotel again. Its good value for the price and ability to see the sights and an escape from the crowds of other tourists and tourist trap restaurants near the main attractions.
