Really nice hotel. on outskirts of rome

Posted May 19, 2015
Really nice hotel. Great staff. comfortable room. The location is on the outskirts but it is not difficult at all to get to central rome. The do offer a shuttle. The only small let down is that the surrounding area doesn't have much Around it but if you are heading into rome this isn't a problem.

Perfect hotel but is quite far.

Posted Dec 22, 2014
Pros: The internet upload speed wasn't pretty good for business. But was enough for reading, and checking emails, facebook, videocalls.
Location: Anangina is the last stop of the metro. Then you have to take bu 503 and it's quite confusing since there are 2 or 3 stops with the same name.
The hotel has really good price and everything is good, and clean. The only issue is if you are coming late in the night the metro leaves you in the last stop (anangina) and the bus (503) to the hotel only runs till 10:30 so you might found yourself having to pay a taxi (15 eur) for just 8 minutes. It's hard to go walking on that area since there is the freeway nearby

Nice hotel but too far from the airport

Posted Sep 18, 2013
Pros: Room was clean and nice dinner music.
Cons: Airport shuttle, and Lobby outdated.
Location: It was in the hood I felt safe at the hotel but not outside the gate.
Nice hotel but they really need to update the lobby and get a shuttle to the airport. Not having transportation to the airport is the only reason I did not return after the cruise because my flight was early and I had to make sure I had a ride.

Our Impressions

Posted Sep 9, 2012
We stayed on a three-night deal which was inexpensive and very good value. Our room was not in the main hotel but within the grounds similar to a motel arrangement. Breakfast was provided in the main hotel building. The grounds were planted with many types of palm tree and the general ambience reminded us of Florida. Free mini bus transport was available to and from the local metro station to pick up a regular train service to the centre of Rome. Altogether an enjoyable experience which we hope to repeat soon.

Rubbish !!!

Posted Oct 2, 2011
The hotel was located beside a busy road with nothing else in the area, no bars, shops or restaurants so you were stuck in the hotel with no facilities after 10PM. The evening meal was nice though, which is more than can be said for breakfast, the coffee was never more than lukewarm, the fruit salad was tinned but there was a selection of cereals and bread and croissants with ham and cheese as well as hard boiled eggs, fresh apples and pears The hotel was well outside Rome, about a 20/30 minute train trip which wasn't bad at 1 Euro each way. The hotel provided a mini bus shuttle service between the hotel and the station which had to be booked. The earliest shuttle in the morning was 8.15 so if you had to be in Rome before 9.00 am you had take a taxi to the station which cost us 17 Euros. On our last day we were due to be picked up at 17.15 at the station as we were leaving the hotel at 18.00 but the minibus did not turn up and we had to get a taxi back just making it in time for our pick up at a cost of another 17 Euros. The hotel staff said the minibus did turn up but we did not see it and we were waiting from 17.00 to 17.40. The room was fine with good air conditioning and very clean. Tea and coffee facilites were supplied on request but they came with no milk and they were taken away the following day but supplied again later again on request but as it was after 9.30 they could not give us a kettle, even though this time the milk was supplied, what was the point?

We thank you for your comment, which was duly appreciated, but we still wonder where is the “rubbish”. In your comment you quote: about breakfast “there was a selection of cereals and bread and croissants with ham and cheese as well as hard boiled eggs, fresh apples and pears”, then “The room was fine with good air conditioning and very clean”. Tea and coffee facilities are available on request free of charge, milk is available on request because we like to give fresh milk to our guests. Kettle was taken away the following day to permit us to clean it. We offer a free shuttle service to the Metro Station available from 8.15am to 11.00pm, we’re sorry you could not meet our shuttle as other guests did. Location is clearly stated in the Hotel description (both in this website and in the others). We still thank you for your kind comment and remain yours sincerely

Very Easy and Friendly - Will stay there again!

Posted Jul 27, 2011
Of all the hotels we stayed at over the last few weeks in Italy this hotel, the cheapest, was the best. It was very clean, comfortable and the staff were very helpful and spoke good English. There was a courtesy bus to pick up and collect from airport and metro so the actual location was unimportant and close to both. (very difficult to find ourselves by car though!!!) The rooms were clean and gave enough room for the three beds we booked in each room. The breakfast was plentiful and fresh, again everything was done with thought and care. I will stay again and thank all the staff for making our stay this week very easy and comfortable.

Pros: Tutto, tranne la ristorazione.
Cons: La ristorazione.
