Nice clean hotel with convenient location

This hotel is very close to the train station, about 10 mins walk, and very easy to find. When you get to the hotel, you will need to climb some stairs with your bags before actually entering the reception area, there is no elevator. After that there is an elevator to go up to the rooms but it's very small (fits two person and a bag or one person and two bags) and the strange thing was that you always have to use this elevator during your stay to go up, even if it would be much quicker to just take the stairs, but going down you can use the stairs. Both check-in and check-out were very smooth and easy (remember that you will need to pay the city tax in cash on check-out). The rooms were small (which is normal in Rome) but very clean. The shower cabin was very small, the shower doors were not closing very tightly and water was getting on the floor and into the room. We needed to pay extra per day to use the in-room safe which was a bit unusual. The air conditioner worked wonderfully, the beds were comfortable, wi-fi worked great. Breakfast was OK: pastries, cold cuts, cheese, yogurt, jam, cereal, you probably won't find a much better breakfast in a three-star hotel in Rome. Staff were mostly friendly and helpful. There is a supermarket literally 20 metres away from the hotel but unfortunately there no fridge in the rooms so we needed to buy a little every day. Overall, a nice and convenient place to stay in Rome for a few days.
