I brought my mom and fiance, along with another friend and his wife to this hotel. We travelled from Vicenza via the autostrada to Rome, which is about 5 hours. The traffic as insane and this hotel has very little parking.. so don't drive! It is reasonably close to the metro, if you don't mind walking about 20-30 minutes and are capable of reading a map. I'm sure you can find better, and closer to the metro, or bus line. This one seemed out of the way in the ghetto a bit. Doesn't usually worry me, but travelling with a few new to Europe.. probably not the best option. The price was reasonable for 2 nights, and the beds are a problem as they push 2 full sized to make one 'queen' size. But besides that, the room was comfortable for the little time we spent in it, and the staff spoke english and are polite. The breakfast was every morning and is included, so they serve cold cuts, muffins, and croissants with nutella. Along with cafe and other drinks, in a section off from the front desk.
They do make you leave your key at the desk when you head into the city, which is kind of nice because it prevents you from losing it.
At all accounts, it was fair and easy.
