We planned to stay for a week in Rome but moved out of this hotel immediately after first night, even with the expense of paying an extra night cost. The hotel is not a 4 star, maybe 2 star is more appropriate. We very much regretted booking it. It is located in a very noisy area. It has strong smell in our bathroom. We tried to open the window but then all noise from outside coming in, which made our stay very uncomfortable. I think maybe if you stay only for 1 or 2 days and try to see all tourism places in Rome city center, you could stay there since it is very much in the city center. But if you stay in Rome for a longer time and need some time to relax and chill, I definitely don't recommend it.

Great Location, walkable to most Rome attaractions. Hotel is rather small with only common area in the breakfast room. Breakfasts were fantastic and staff extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are relatively small and our room in particular was a part of the two-room suite with interconnecting door so that the every word spoken by the neighbors from the adjacent room was heard in our room. It took forever in the morning to get a hot water in the shower and water pressure was quite low. Cleaning lady was always forgetting to restock toiletries and we had to bother concierge with the requests for soap and toilet paper. Otherwise hotel experience was good.

A very good small hotel with very helpful staff. In a very central area and close to many attractions but, oh so busy. The breakfast is the best I experienced - lots of choices including fruits and vegetables. The hotel has almost no public areas.

This is my 2nd stay. The location is so central to Rome. Amazing restaurants within walking. Minutes to The colosseum. Trevi Fountain , Pantheon, monument Di Vitorio Emanuel, Vatican. The staff is flawless. The rooms are comfortable and clean. I will stay here every time I come back

A very good small hotel near Piazza Venezia; walking distance from most attraction. However, extremely busy sidewalks outside (Rome suffers from too many tourists year round). Our accessible room is comfortable and spacious. Great bathroom too. The breakfast includes fruits and vegetables as well as all else. Very gracious and helpful staff. There is no lounge and the lobby is tiny. There is a roof garden with no food service. However restaurants and cafes abound all around.

Everything about this hotel was Excellent! Staff was friendly, helpful. Room was beautiful with a fabulous view. Breakfast was great. And you couldn’t get a better location. Walking distance to all of the major sights. Restaurants and shopping was also in walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel and will book again in the future.

The hotel was very centrally located, close to major sights. The rooms were clean, nice and comfortable (only complaint was that the bed was two single mattress together making it uncomfortable for us as a couple - however we still got really good sleep). Breakfast offered was awesome with a decent spread and lots of options for both veg and non veg. The service staff was great too! Will definitely recommend

The downside is the shower drain and sink is clogged. On our second day there’s a maintenance guy that fixed it. But the problem is still the same. At night we didn’t sleep well, feels like someone is trying to open our door. The following night my sister also heard it and was not able to sleep. The door lock seems not so secure. No double lock.

Hoetl Castellino Roma - alot of money for nothing!
The room we were assigned was no bigger than a shoe box and the cost was outrageous versus what provided. The other room provided under my reservation was very nice and spaceous. I had several problems with my room, including no one could get the lights to work. It took over an hour for the manger to come and fix it, and he was condisending to us. It took me three times requesting his help for him to show up, and he was very disrespectful. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

David was the staff leader, he made sure we were happy with our room. Happily, he arranged taxis multiple times. Always a smile, always ready to help. Hotel is in the perfect location, walking distance to Pantheon, Trevi fountain and Colosseum. Excellent breakfast buffet.

Hotel is in a great location -- a short walk to Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and quick taxi to Vatican Museum. Property is very well maintained, good size rooms, spotless bathroom with great shower, excellent breakfast selection, and attentive staff.

Great location, quality needs improvement
On main busy square. Great location. Walkable to most major tourist spots. Lots of restaurants near by. Breakfast was ok. Roof garden doesn’t have a view and was really useless. The floor cleanliness was not great, especially in the corners. Shower and sink drains were backing up and maintenance never came to sort it out. Tv service was poor. Breakfast was basic.

Location location location - at a price. It is very loud in the area of a major intersection but worth it to avoid walking more than 12k steps (you’ll only get 10k). Convenient to so much in Rome. Good breakfast buffet.

Well located little gem.
Cozy hotel with very good air-conditioning. Kettle in the room was appreciated as was bottled water. Staff are lovely. Breakfast had lots of choices and great cappuccinos. I would stay here again.

Absolutely loved this place!!! The location was central to all of the sites! This place is clean and comfortable and the staff friendly. The breakfast is absolutely delicious and they have a nice rooftop area for a break anytime, day or night. Recommending to anyone visiting Rome! :-)

The hotel staff was excellent and the room was very clean. But, no hot water in the morning for showers and bad water pressure, The a/c was not working properly and made noise all night. Also to sofa bed was not comfortable.

The air conditioner blew at 17°C according to the AC control monitor, but the vents did not feel that way at all. The air blowing from the vents was weak and warm. I brought this to the front desk's attention and they did not provide a different room or a proper fix. Furthermore, they provide a card for complimentary drinks at the bar next door, but the staff there don't honor the "complimentary" card in the way you would expect. Staff ask you to eat there to receive the drinks. If you don't eat, they give you bottom shelf wine. Terrible stay.

Location location location
Amazing amazing location! Right in the center of the town! Steps away from the fountain trevi on one side and Colosseo on the other side. Breakfast is super awesome with lots and lots of fruits, eggs, bread, croissant, cake, cheese, cold cuts and various kinds of nuts! Terrace has a nice view of the city and there is a jacuzzi tub( even though it didn’t work, but we still used it as a hot tub) Every night we sat on the terrace and had a glass of wine and enjoyed the weather and the beautiful scenery of the town You can go ahead and book this hotel without any hesitation. Oh yes, don’t forget there are and less number of restaurants in this neighborhood.

If a person wants to be mostly central and equidistant from several popular sites and desires to avoid taxis and is willing to walk, then this hotel is a great choice. The staff is friendly and are fluent in English, which was very helpful for my limited Italian capabilities. The breakfast was always good, as well.

Location was excellent! Walking distance from Coliseum, Trevi Fountain, and shopping. Hotel was great! The room was spacious and the rooftop jacuzzi was definitely a plus. I would definitely recommend.
