Good location, poor room condition.

Pros: Location
Cons: Staff Room conditions Breakfast area Communal bar area - was never opened
Location: Location is great for shopping. Taxi's are affordable, most landmarks are nearby (around 10 euros a trip). Food is great but ask for recommendations.
Pros: Location Cons: a lot We had two main issues with this hotel. Firstly, the wi-fi didnt work in our room. This may seem minor but when you advertise Free Wi-Fi then it should work. The staff seem completely indifferent to most issues we raised - just a shrug of the shoulders about the internet. The biggest issue was the state of the bathroom. The "double" room we had was already small, so when the bathroom started reeking of sewage it filled our living space! The problem was disgusting to say the least. We noticed on the first night the water in the sink was taking forever to drain, the next morning the smell was horrendous! Honestly, it was poisonous. We raised the issue with the front desk who seemed very helpful at first, stating we would have a new room within the hour so advised we go pack our things. We packed all our things, came back in hour, only to be told there were no free rooms... They claimed a plumber would be brought in to fix it so asked could we vacate the room. Upon our return the smell had gone and the sink was "working" again. A few hours later, the smell returned. Because it was our last night we didn't complain again but did mention it to the staff before we left so that future tenants would not have to experience it - "We will just air out the room" was the brazen reply. The location is great, so I would advise looking at other hotels in the area. Breakfast is OK but the room is TINY so if you go at a busy time expect to wait for a table!

Centrally located. Friendly helpful staff. Buffet breakfast was a good selection. Not too far from all the sights. Good value for this location.

Slightly worn at the edges , but a very nice hotel

Negatives: No tea and coffee in the room,and I couldn't master the air-conditioning ,which meant we opened the window, so not much of a loss there. Positives: Every thing else! Nice room, good shower, free wi-fi , good breakfast, supurb location , helpful staff. Several good restaurants with 2 min walk. Metro station just across the square. I had a great stay and would recommend it to all.

Great location for shopping and exploration

Lovely hotel with friendly and helpful management and staff. Great location for exploring the city. If you like a firm bed you will find it here.. The pillows were also very firm and slim.. But followed the advice of other reviewers and folded in half and added some of the contents of my suitcase to the pillowcase to plump it up.
