Basic 2 star hotel. Beds were comfy, location was amazing. Bathroom with no window or ventilation could get smelly. Served our purposes as a base for 2 nights in fantastic location.

The property has good location. The rooms are bit smelly along with the passage. The bathrooms need refurbishments. Heating is poor.

Fabulous location, atrocious odor
I'm a pretty easy going dude when it comes to comfort. I read other reviews and think "meh, they're probably fussy" and just power through. Well, other reviews mentioned that this place was stinky, and it turns out, they were not being fussy. We were on the cusp of staying somewhere else due to the smell. We ended up buying potpourri from a perfume store to mask the odor, and that made it bearable, but only just. If you're contemplating another $15 a night to stay in a not-stinky place, it's definitely worth it. The staff and comfort level were all adequate, and the location is really spectacular. But did I mention the smell. Hoo boy.

Usually, if there are problems, guests go to the reception where our staff tries to solve the problems, even proposing a change of room. You have said nothing about the problem you claim to have had and we are very sorry for that.

Very clean, it's a tough walk up the stairs. Decent breakfast. Rooms are very small but have what you need. I slept good and they are very close to shopping and restaurants.

Amazing owners
Located just steps away from the fontana di trevi. Walk in distance to coloseum and Vatican City. The friendliest owners in the World. Amazing coffee and croissants for breakfast. Really loved our stay.

If you are looking for a cheap place to stay with all the essentials - but not a lot of frills - look no further. Clean, efficient, solid breakfast. All for less than any other hotels in that historic area of town.

Amazing stay
My stay at Hotel Pomezia has been gorgeous. The staff has been always very helpul and relly friendly. The location is just 2 minutes walking by Campo de fiori and in the heart of Rome. I was feeling like at home Value for money is really high.

We are sorry that you consider breakfast so cheap; our structure is two stars; we are in the historic center of Rome and our rates are the lowest ever. Maybe you should take that into account too.

Small dilapidated room. Bathroom even worse, with a light smell of mold and sewage. The A/C remote controls are removed from the rooms in September, so you cannot use air conditioning even if it’s hot (it was still very hot in mid October). Clean sheets and towels are replaced daily and the breakfast is okay. The location is quite good, within walking distance of most tourist spots.

the hotel is old. First night better romm. Second time, the sink was wobbly, the TV did not turn on. No elevator. Air conditioning worked well They found a taxi for me. Breakfast reasonable

Perfect location but the hotel is falling apart. Nothing like the pictures. AC remote was missing but reception was not able to find another one... so we had to climb on furnitures to manually turn it on as the scorching roman summer was unbearable.

Great location , near to restaurants, walk-in distance from major attractions. Spanish steps, Traci fountain, other attractions were walking distances. Simple place with breakfast,friendly staff. Only issue- simple bed breakfast, not many amenities- nothing in room other than bed, bathroom with towels. Our room was at 3rd floor no elevator. So be careful carrying luggage.

We are very sorry that he did not like us. In all online booking portals we have reported that there is NO elevator. For a two-star hotel we believe that breakfast is plentiful considering it is included in the price. We hope to have you again as our guest.

Shabby hotel, but good location
I knew from the reviews that the hotel is not in nice condition. Room had smell and our room had temperature issues. We booked two rooms and they gave us rooms at two different floors, even though we told them it's one family with kids. The staff on the other had was courteous, which compensated for that. I saw bad reviews about breakfast, but I think was reasonable. Location is a big plus. Major areas were in walking distance. So if you are going to spend entire day outside, like we did, then just for sleeping is acceptable.

Good location but not a pleasent stay
There was a big difference in the service. Most of the personnel were unkind. at our last day, the person in the entrance was very pleasant and kind. There was an issue with the loo, which didn't solved by the housekeeping. The beds were not cozy (like military beds). The safe in the room buzz all the time, even in the night.

Excellent Location, 5 min walk to Tratesvere and Plaza Navona. 20 Min walk to Vatican. Hotel is located at 2 min to a main street that you can take bus or taxi. Customer service excellent there were so friendly and polite. Breakfast is continental and they serve you fresh capuccino.Free Wifi

Excellent service, was allowed to check in early and even eat breakfast on that morning. The only two things were the street noise could get a little loud in the morning and the air conditioner wasn’t so great. But overall, the location and hospitality... I’d stay again!

Amazing value and location
Perfect location right in the centre of the old town (a hard place to find a room). The room was cheap and had everything I needed. Yes it is a tad basic but the value and location make up for this. The only downside for me was the room staff were very loud in the mornings, talking on their phones and talking loudly to each other at quite early hours in the morning.

Location is very bad unless you know the area. Staff was abrupt when checking in, no people skills. No elevator, stairs very small and steep. Room was tiny and the TV did not work. When we inquired, we were told that most of them don't work. Except for the croissants, skip the "breakfast", go to McDonald's.

A basic hotel in a very nice location
The hotel is located in a very nice location and the staff are very nice however the hotel has no elevator which i missed when i was booking (or it was not mentioned) and we were on the third floor with steep stairs. In addition we were three in the room and they gave us an extra bed which was broken and tilted all the time. Bathroom was ok. If you are looking for an affordable hotel in a an excellent area and don't care about the room (just sleep and bath) then it's a good choice.

Excellent location
Excellent position, 20-30 walk from a Romes main must see attractions. Very close indeed to quiet Bar + loads of restaurants. Hotel is certainly not 4 star but we enjoyed it and the continental breakfast was very good.
