The Ponte Sisto Hotel is an oasis in the centre of the city within walking distance of virtually all the main places to visit. Restaurants abound and the river is metres away. Hard to beat.

Good value in January

Stayed for 8 days in January of 2017. Breakfast was great. Daily room cleanliness was good, though the shower leaked badly. TV and room were tiny - bed was hard as a rock. The terraces were really cool though not formally open in winter. Desk staff ranged from great to not very helpful. Outstanding location to walk around the city - lots of sites, dining and shopping very close by. Prego.

Well placed for sightseeing

Pros: Excellent bedroom facilities, service from reception staff
Location: Well placed for walking to Vatican, Trevi fountain, coliseum etc. Right next to the river which is a very pleasant walk. Close to many restaurants
Lovely hotel, despite being down a cobbled street so not a particularly nice frontage. In walking distance from all the main sights. Triple room was very pleasant, it was just a shame that the 2 windows were blocked in and although the French doors opened, it was onto a parking area so no views to speak of. However very clean, lovely Jacuzzi bath, nice toiletries, dressing gowns, slippers& hairdryer provided, comfortable beds, stocked minibar, room safe, and tv although only 2 English channels. Lovely roof terrace & courtyard to sit out in good weather. We didn't eat here at all so can't comment on food but would recommend on the service we did receive.

We had a lovely time in Rome and the hotel was just what we were after. The rooms are big and clean. Just a shame there isn't a tea or coffee tray for an early morning coffee but I guess who wants an instant coffee when you can have the real deal just round the corner.

Pros: Cleanliness, quiet, location, breakfast was great.
Location: Location, location, location. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see.
Very good hotel, if you get a courtyard facing room it is very quiet. The staff were very professional and courteous.

The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming- spoke perfect English and helped print off boarding passes, our rooms were lovely (only negative would be no tea facilities in room). All in all a great location close to main attractions all in walking distance - great selection for being a cold breakfast.
