Fantastic hotel, close to most of the main sight.Posted Nov 22, 2015
Pros: Every member of staff was polite & friendly. Room & communal areas spotlessly clean & tidy. Perfect buffet breakfast. Arranged airport transfers.
Cons: Move the lovely, free, 24 hour coffee machine from the lobby to my room next time I stay there haha, only joking, everything was perfect.
Location: We walked to all the sights, only using transport to get to The Vatican, one train from Repubblica Station, which is 10 mins walk from the Hotel.
Before our break we received an email from the hotel offering collection from the airport, this was a few Euro's more than the fixed price taxi's but sounded an easy option as our time in Rome was limited with plenty to see in a couple of day's. As soon as we walked out of customs we were greeted by our driver and while everyone else was making their way to the train or negotiating the local Taxi drives we were already on our way to the hotel. Arriving at the Raffaello 4 hours before our check in time was not an issue for them at all & they were very accommodating, offering us a selection of fresh croissants, juice's, tea or coffee, free WiFi password, toilets & told we could leave our bags safely with them and start exploring the city. Due to the ease of all this so far we were exploring the city within an hour of leaving the airport. Quickly it became clear that we were within walking distance of The Colosseum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain (to be fair the only sight we didn't walk to was the Vatican, everything else was accessed on foot). Returning to the Hotel, we were nicely greeted by all the staff and told that our bags were already in our room, the room itself was a far better than we had expected for the money we had paid, so comfortable we actually fell asleep for a few hours before going out again. The room was well made every day by the staff. Buffet breakfast was exactly what was needed and they recommended and booked a perfect restaurant for our anniversary.

Hotel convenient for walking Rome.Posted Nov 21, 2015
Pros: Location, breakfast.
Cons: The shower was VERY small.
Location: Great restaurants right down the street. We tried a few and enjoyed them all.
The hotel staff especially Francesca and Francisco were very helpful. They made recommendations for nearby restaurants and explained the map very clearly. We were able to walk to most tourist attractions: Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza d'Espagna, etc. The subway to the Vatican was close, too. Breakfast each morning offered many choices - both sweet and savory. The electricity went out on the block one morning, but they still managed to make breakfast.

In an ideal position!Posted Nov 21, 2015
Pros: This is a super hotel that has everything you need for a city break. The buffet breakfast is a great way to start the day.
Cons: Evertthing is perfect for a city break. It's clean and all the staff are friendly. What more could you ask for?
The hotel is ten minutes from the Colloseo and The Forum. The Saint Maggiore Church is just round the corner as is the bus stop for the 'Hop on Hop off Tour buses. A wide selection of restaurants also in the area. The district is safe and has afriendly feel about it.

Excelente hotel, centrico y buen servicio.Posted Nov 15, 2015

Center of RomePosted Nov 12, 2015
Cons: More space in the breakfast area.
Location: Santa Maria Maggiore was a 5 minute walk. The Colosseum not much farther. A magnificent, but almost ignored church across the street.
Will stay again. The location is very central and located on a quiet side street. It felt less "touristy" and more local than expected. The hotel itself is not fancy, but not shabby either. The front desk people were quite friendly and helpful. The ladies helping out at breakfast were awesome. The Drunk Cow was too good to avoid.

Good hotel close to TerminiPosted Nov 10, 2015
Enjoyable stay with very friendly staff. It was my first time in Italy and Rome and they did a good work of helping me around. The hotel is also close to Termini which makes it easy for both airport travel and use of the subway terminal.

zentral gelegenes HotelPosted Oct 29, 2015
Pros: Lage, Sauberkeit, Frühstück, kostenlose Getränke
Cons: deutschsprachiges Personal
