The hotel rooms look nice but they are not designed well. Our room had a small safe but it was 1 1/2 feet off of the floor forcing us to kneel on the floor to use it. The lighting is poor in the bathroom so the bathroom mirror is not useful. There was a large coffee pot but no plug near the location of the pot. There were also no chairs within the room so the only place to sit was on the bed. The room was pretty but poorly designed. The streets around the hotel are narrow, very busy and make it difficult to walk from the hotel to public transportation.
Nice place with unique lobby…Mickey Mouse and other statues. It’s reasonably far to walk to tourist sites but in a quiet area as well. Overall enjoyed the stay.
Very strangely furnished and impractical room with very poor, dim lighting, very darkly painted walls (adding to the gloominess), bathroom very old and outdated fittings, no table or desk, very impractical key system, overall not pleasant, would not recommend and not stay here again.
The photos didn't look anything like the property. It was extremely dirty, smelled awful, there was black mold in the shower on the ceiling. Worst hotel I stayed at on my trip and had it been for more than a night I would have switched instantly.
Property is too dirty and restroom have mold around the shower, walls are dirty and all area around is nasty a lot trash every place.

Disliked: Cleanliness
Faults with room. Blinds broken. TV remote broke, Blood stains on carpet. Bathroom was dated. Allowed yapping dog to stay opposite on our corridor. No chair for room or balcony. Opposite noisy alleyway at night. Very expensive. Reception staff not very friendly. Best part was very nice breakfast and dining area.
I should not have checked in at a hotel whose system was down. They had us park in their dark garage which is close to the hotel. Parking attendants told us that we’ll have access to our car 24/7 since we had to hand them our keys. Come to find out on Sundays, they close for majority of the day. If you do a late check-out on a Sunday, DON’T because you won’t get access to your car. We even contact Expedia Customer Service who called the hotel only to be spoken rudely and hung up on. I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again. You don’t have your own hotel key that you can take with you, you have to constantly turn it in because it’s attached to this huge almond shaped looking keychain. If there’s a line at the reception, you have to wait to turn in your key rather than having a drop off box. The elevators are scary only being able to carry two adults and maybe two luggage’s without you having to hold your breath hoping you don’t get stuck. The hotel decorations are selfie worthy and the breakfast buffet is ok. Please reconsider if you think this hotel is for you or for your family.

Thank you for the review and we are sorry that the customer was not satisfied. The hotel has an agreement with a public garage located under the hotel therefore lighted by artificial lights just because it is located under the hotel like most of garages. Being public and having a lot of movement, the staff must be in possession of the keys to allow the staff to be able to move the cars and to park them, furthermore the key is also required for safety reasons, in public car parks these are the rules and public garages on public holidays and Sundays the hours are reduced.Regarding the lifts, it is true that they are small being a building from the 1970s, but they are well decorated and colorful and our staff is here ready for any rare emergency. Our keys are a choice, they are provided to us by a craftsman who makes them expressly for us, each one has a different color and gives us the opportunity to socialize more with our customers who, when delivering them, exchange a few words or ask for advice at the reception. We are sorry that this was not appreciated.
Great stay. A hidden gym in an old part of the city. The staff was great and the restaurant at the hotel was amazing. Had the spaghetti with small clams. Amazing!!!
Looks like the hotel is stuck in the 70’s. Very old, dirty room, no proper shower, carpet with visible stains, terrible lighting in the room, located in shady area. Most definitely not a 4 star, at best 2 star. The only good thing was the breakfast.
This is a very funny place. The hotel rooms are very dated. However, the breakfast/breakfast room, restaurant & bar are amazing. The Happy Hour is fantastic and food is wonderful. The location is good. Not a far walk to all of Trastevere.
Cut my stay short because they were painting and I could not stand the fumes. The staff was nice and refunded me but overall the hotel was just ok in terms of cleanliness and amenities.
The service was wonderful! The front desk personnel was always attentive and provided support when I needed help.
The rooms were spacious and clean, but a bit dated. The breakfast was a win! They had so many food options and it was delicious.
The Jacuzzi was not working. They promised to fix it, but it was not. It was the top floor most expensive unit in the building and I just thought that the Jacuzzi should at least be working.
Very roomy for 4 adults with separate bedrooms and main area but small TV only in master bedroom with terrible internet connection. Main area could use a traditional coach and a 2nd TV. Quiet area close to bus stop and excellent breakfast buffet included with room.
The hotel was close to city centre, lots of restaurants were around.room was ok.
Breakfast was really poor, cold eggs, stale bread and not many choices.
To be honest, it was huge disappointment. for the same price I would get a real 4 star hotel.
