Location, location, location!

Location: Campo di Fiori, Piazza Farnese, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Piazza Argentino are a short walk. Also near the Forum, Coliseum, and the Trevi Fountain
The major selling point of the hotel is the location. It is an easy walk to most of the major sites in Rome Centro and a longer walk or short bus ride to the Vatican. Our room (for the Expedia rate) was on the ground floor and, therefore, perhaps noisier than the standard room when other guests were checking in or out. While not a luxurious room, we had plenty of room to move around easily. The staff is extremely accommodating and will make dinner and other reservations for you. The hotel is a bargain given the location. And what fun every morning to walk downstairs and have breakfast in the ruins of the Teatro di Pompeo. The Campo di Fiori is literally around the corner. While it is very touristy, take any of the side streets and one can find terrific restaurants.

Room was spacious and clean but nothing great. The wi-fi barely worked our entire stay. The last night we were there they were supposed to have someone come fix the internet but it didn't happen. Wasn't the worst hotel experience I've ever had, but definitely wouldn't stay there again or recommend to friends.

Pros: size of rooms, location, breakfast
Location: The hotel is located close to Campo dei Fiori, a bustling square with a popular market. The location is within walking distance of most major sites.
Stayed here in July and had a great experience. Rooms are large, hotel is quiet and conveniently located, and breakfast was delicious. Would stay here again.

Good location. Easily walkable to most places that you'd want to visit like Piazza Navona, Colosseum, Forum, Trevi Fountain etc. Lots of nearby storesStaff are helpful and friendly. Check in and out was quick and easy. Breakfast had lots of options and was better than most places we stayed. Room was clean as well. Shower had water go everywhere as there was no curtain and only a small glass part, but it wasn't a big issue

It's Rome, so expect stairs in the annex

Apart from a great breakfast in the main hotel, I didn't see much of the main hotel. The annex is around the corner in another building that is partly shared by others. My room was large spacious and very clean. Overlooking a courtyard and the piazza. The downside was the 60 steps and 3 doors it took to get to my room with my suitcase. No elevator and no baggage assistance. However other than that it was great value for money and very central

'Love to stay at this very Roman hotel. Built in / on the very structure of Roman ruins, this place ties you to the past. And a great location--walking distance to many sites yet very quiet.

Cons: Shower stall cleanliness.
Location: The Trattoria next door was excellent and an added bonus! Also, there's a tunnel nearby leading to Campo de Fiori and an excellent Gellattoria
Great breakfast, cut rooms. My wife (who is picky) loved it. We felt like it as a perfect slice of Italy.

Quiet and clean, a great base to return to and relax. Courteous and professional staff, and close to everything including the best pizza in Roma at Rossicio Grazie!

We loved our stay in Rome at this hotel. The staff was very accommodating and never had a problem answering questions about where to go or what to see. We were in walking distance to almost everything, and there was a taxi stand a short distance away if we needed one. We were pleasantly surprised with the room and the breakfast in the morning was perfect. We will definitely stay with Simona and staff again!
